Numb - Megatron Missocpus Presents 2021-12-25 | Hey! I'm not dead! Just busy, but in the good way!I want to say something like "hey I will not be arround so much", but I cannot because I cannot read myself, but truth be told, most of the times I don't get no free time outside of school and my own pesonal projects. On the other hand, a lot of very amazing stuff has been coming out lately. League of Legends Arcane, Halo Infinite & with Spider-Man No Way Home coming out, I have been very temted to edit to all these things, as I love them so much, but I just dont have the time ahah. With all that said I really want to edit, or atleast, try to edit to these things. I'm on Christmas break for 2 weeks and the last 2 days, I spent sometime trying to get to know AE and experiment on some texts for this vid. I'm not proud of the result, but atleast I know how to do most basic things in AE, which is a huge step forward for me in 2 days, considering how bad I am for committing myself to things (Thank you Fede and Dan for your help tho!). I know I always say I want to edit this and that, but I end up just editing to tf or Megatron again, but I cannot help myself. It's not to please others, I don't really care about that anymore, but it's because I always find myself falling back to my most valuable comfort character; which is Megatron. This was one of the many other Megatron edits that I wanted to complete before coming to France. Crazy how much time passed so quickly. But I'm glad I finished it. This video is kind of like my love letter to Megatron. I wanted to include all his great and respectable incarnations since I adore them all so much in their own ways. I did not useBayverse Megatron, as that for me is not Megatron in any way. Even though I had my fair share of critisizing with Megatron becoming an Autobot in IDW, I'm still glad that they decided to take such a critical route with his character; it was a very fresh take on Megatron that they explored very well. And even though I’m still a bit bitter on him becoming an Autobot, I will still appreciate the existence of his Autobot version. Also I started re-reading the entire Transformers IDW Comics a month ago, and I was just feeling a lot for Megatron (as usual, but this time even more). I always wondered why he was my favourite character ever (aside from Raphael from TMNT) but I could never put into words why he mattered so much to me. In almost every continuty, we are first introduced to Megatron when he lost his way long ago, and yet I still root for him. TFP Megatron was my first love for this character, I always found him asthonishing, how he kept going no matter what, even before we were introduced to his origin story. I think everything changed for me when TFP gave us his back story. Then I realized how strong of a person he was. Contrary to Optimus, who is strong for never giving himself in to his demons, Megatron was strong for making himself more scarier than all his demons ever were, and that he continued to fight for what he believed in, a lost cause may be, but he still kept going regardless. The more I grow up the more my connection to this characer became stronger. Maybe it’s because the more I grow, the more I’m always feeling lost, unable to see things clearly, where I’m always turning to Megatron and appreciate his strenght more.I also added some War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron moments. People don’t know how much I love these games and how much FoC means to me, but I will just say that I LOVE the Megatron from those games. Even though he is mostly 1 dimensional, he is still very awesome to me. I still am, but I can't find time to really get into the fandom as much as I like to (like watching lore vids and catch up with the latest news for example).Also I want to talk about the Bad Batch. I actually wanted to talk about it on my instagram, but I never did for some reason, so don't mind me talking abt it here. I'll rant some and throw love at it at the same time.The Bad Batch started off stronger than ever. I can't actually explain my joy when I first saw the first 2 episodes; I was so stoked and it became my favourite SW media in a very long time. But then I witnessed it's downfall. The show lost it's momentum in the 3rd ep, and continued to do so in the rest. I kept waiting for it to pick itself back up, but it never happened. I realised the more I hoped for things, the more I found myself waiting for the most minimum of decentcy, which is not something I usually do. And oh my, the writing. The writing was weak, below avarage. The characters were not fleshed out, and did not feel like real people (the only exception might have been Wrecker). Tell me this, if you removed Tech and Echo from most of the episodes, what would change? Probably not much. I'm very dissapointed from this first season, but with all that said, I still enjoy this show. I can critique something, but still can love it. After all, I'm a hard bitch to satisfy and my standarts are high. So I'm hoping for a much, MUCH better second season, because after all I will say, this show did made me love these characters a lot, but did not give me enough to connect to them, other than Wrecker lmao. Give us some Tech, Echo character arcs. Make the characters steer the story, not the events steering the characters.Anyways, enjoy this collab. Blue Clouds - Megatron Missocpus Presents 2021-08-23 | I started this project when ? *looks at the date of file* I started it 4 months ago, and along the way I forgot I was doing it untill yesterday, when I had only a tiny bit left to finish it as a whole so I did. There isn't much to say about this. I started it as a way to learn atleast the basic things in AE. You might feel that it's a wee bit different than my vegas edits, it's bc it's AE. During the four moths I didn't teach my self anything new in AE, because one I'm lazy, and two because I don't have much time to edit and when I do, I do not want to learn things I don't know for a program that I probably won't be using it in the foreseeable future. Whenever I find time to edit I like to just do me and have fun you know?Also WfC Trilogy was definetly forgetable and I won't rewatch it again ever. It's suprising if that was the best they could do but I don't believe it. The voice directing was on the floor and edited the VAs good performances down to the very minimum, which is a shame . Such a downgrade from most of the other tf media (other than the animation. The animation legit got so beautiful, especially in the last season and I was in awe most of the time for the visuals) Anyways I'll be watching Beast Wars instead bc that show is awesome. The Next Song TF/TFP Collab w/ DreamCatcher Missocpus Presents 2021-03-29 | I’m very excited to share this collab as this is our first with DreamCatcher. Not our first attempt tho, we tried and failed to complete others in many attempts as we are both very busy, especially these days, but we finally did one regardless! He actually told me that he wanted to edit this song to tf and my greedy ass jumped in fast, and I asked him if he wanted to do a collab with it lmao. This has been sitting in my gallery for a few weeks, unfinished, but he finally did it! I’m proud of you bitch! ♥ Alright, kind of like a quick story. DreamCatcher and I go waaay back. He was actually the one who introduced me to Transformers and got me into it so bad in the first place. So I owe half of my personality and likes to him lmao. I think it was at the end of our elementary school, when he introduced me to the first TF media I have ever seen, and that was Dark of the Moon. That movie holds such a special place in my heart, as I had my best memories in life coming from that movie and the things we did together with DreamCatcher. I still love that movie to death let me tell you. Anyways after seeing all the 3 TF movies like a hundred times together (bc at the time, only the first three was released), we got into TFP, like really bad. After school ended and summer came, I went to the usual place where me and my mom would always go; a rural place away from city life and internet (oh and also electricity). My dad would come very rarely and when I saw him he would always bring me something to watch with him so I would have a good time. This time, he started bringing bits of the G1 cartoon and I absolutely loved it. I thought it was sick and at the time, I didn’t even know english so I didn’t understand what the fuck was going on in the episodes but I still enjoyed it regardless lmao. My 13 yo ass was rooting for G1 Megatron to succeeed everytime but it never happened lol. I would drive to an internet cafe not so close to where we lived, as it was the only place that had internet, just so I can watch TF clips on youtube, and maybe even download some. I started secretly collecting tf figures as I was not allowed to waste my parents money on toys lmao and they were absolutely right as money was tight at the time. DreamCatcher had a lot of toys and we would meet up and we would just bring in the action. Anyways, know that I’m atleast a bit of a grown person, I collect figs and I’m proud of my figure collection, especially my Bayformers figs. Anyways , after I got into G1 and all the og stuff about Transformers, I got into comics eventually and it didn’t take me very long to get into the deep lore, as the comics were rich with those. So after all the stuff DreamCatcher introduced me to, it was my time to share some of the stuff I learned with him aswell and oh man we talked day and night just talking about the lore and the backstories of the characters. I mean we still do lmao. So as much as our friendship cannot be defined by transformers and any words alone, I can’t deny the fact that if I didn’t have him in my life, a lot of good stuff I truly love wouldn’t be there. I have been into this show from the very start and I am very mad at myself for never editing it before. But after season 5 happened (which is one of the most beautiful thing to happen in this world) I just had to. I have like 4 other Catradora projects in development. People say that nowadays it is easy to get gay rep in cartoons, which is not how it works at all. We used to say that the Princess Prom ep from season 1 was very gay (whereas it really wasn't that gay, our expectations were just not so high for any gay rep) and Noelle had to fight so hard just to get that episode out. It is crazy. But she managed to give us season 5 at the end, which changed everything. It is amazing how much she fought, and how much Rebecca fought too. Optimus✖Megatron ┃You Are the Monster Missocpus Presents 2020-07-16 | Back with some more edgy edits...Okay so I had a thing going on for this video, kind of like a story, but also not rlly. Just ideas I gathered around while putting it together, mostly on the first chorus; Optimus is the one abusing Megatron with his power to the point Megatron has become so paranoid and anxious that he seeks a way out, also being haunted by his own thoughts at the same time (them being Unicron). I don't know whether I was going for an evil Optimus Prime thing ( bc I putted scenes of Autobots going against Optimus and Optimus having a con signia) but I wanted it to be Optimus taking his rage out on Megatron, following him wherever he goes, to the point where it has left Megatron mentally torn apart and unable to proceed. This part ends at 00.35, and that's where things return to reality (plot twist- no not really-) where Megatron is a horrible person and abuses Optimus constantly, always taking something valuable away from him. Maybe the first part was all in Megatron's head or that's how he sees Optimus when he is actually the real evil. You can interpret it in anyway you want.I found the first chorus edited textless 2 days ago, and I realized I abondoned the project (it was like 6 months old I think), but I thought I could bring it back so I re edited the whole thing with a new coloring and the second chorus just came afterwards naturally. Edit Dump ＃2 Missocpus Presents 2019-08-20 | I am exposing some of the ugliest edits I have ever came up with, but this is a trash so that's why they are here haha. Some of these are too old, I made them when I transitioned to svp from Final Cut Pro for the first time. I had a lot of problems with vegas; Transitions were off centered, title were too, it lagged all over the place but I fixed them (you can see this example in the centuries edit on the motion blur effect on the "remember me" title, it is off centered as hell!( 04.08)) That is probably where my vegas starting working in it's full potential, so all the edits after the Centuries one is working fine. In my first project dump video I said I considered leaving editing and this channel and it wasn't me trying to get attention, I seriously considered doing it. I had such a toxic relationship with editing that I came to hate it, but all I had needed was just to take a step back from it a while, and I would eventually crave doing it again someday.I realised that I couldn't make all my subs happy and I certianly couldn't edit to tfp forever, so taking the liberty to try other fandoms was refreshing, it made me love editing more...So how do I feel about all this now? Well I love editing, more than I wish I did haha. Sometimes I just want to quit all the productive things I do in life like drawing, doodling with the guitar, stop motions etc. and just edit all day long. It's like an addiction sometimes. I like a lot of characters in tdp, they are all unique and adorable in their own ways. But rewatching the entire show with my dad I realized how much I came to like Viren and how much his character appealed to me. I'll be smiling when he takes the throne, and when he gets a redemption arc after he realizes that Aaravos is basically decieving him. I'm guessing he'll be like a Zuko kind of character, the one that changes the most in the entire story, and probably will go full evil on everyone else at some point, but at the end he'll realize that his place is wrong and will come to terms with others. Well it's because after I fell in love with Korra after finishing the first season, and taking a small glance to other seasons, I basically thought that Korra was one of those shows where they unfortunately lost their passion and mislayed the flow of their devolopment after the first season. And I never made it back to watch the rest of the show as I was afraid to see my beloved show fail. But after rewatching the first season over and over, I finally had the courage to continue the fandom I loved so much! I was first scared to see how the show I loved so much was going to end up dissapointing me but it didn't go the way I thought it would. The second season was ok, the story was amazing and exciting, third season was intense and heartbreaking, and the fourth season, well it's where I cracked, in the best way possible; fourth season was a medicine. I was back in the fandom, like I never could. I wasn't ready for such a thrilling ending and a sucsesfull character devolopment. A few weeks after I officially finished Korra, I heard this song and three days later I was on to editing it. Contex: The thing I wanted to capture in this edit was Korra's growth. The last season did a blasting job with Korra's character progress and led her character to a way I never thougth it was going to go. This edit is about growth. Devolopment. How much Korra has come a far way from being a hot head, and a 'punch first and ask questions later' type to a calm, compassionate, and a spiritually strong person. And the edit is all about it, the 4/3 of the video I show Korra suffering, making mistakes, and taking beatings because she is eventually alone inside her own mind and now there is no one but herself that can help her to proceed. She is heading off to action without thinking through what the consequences will be. And now after all the mistakes and failiures, she is tired from the way she resolves things with her enemies, and her allies. She finds Toph in her way, but even with a wise person like her, Korra still can't finds her place, she feels like she no longer belongs to somewhere. But when Toph shows her the spirit vines, Korra finds her self deep within the ground, nature, and eventually she realizes; that her escape and salvation is again, within herself. When the chorus part starts, she has grown up. She has realized that being rash does not work like it used to. She is has now evolved spiritually, mentally.
