NOTE: When the California Adventure Park opened in February 2001, the entrance was designed to look like a giant postcard depicting the essence of California - huge metal letters spelling out the state's name at the forefront, a replica of the Golden Gate Bridge (used as a monorail bridge) flanked by palm trees and murals depicting mountains and farm valleys, and peeking over the base of the bridge, the top half of a large sun sculpture (which was located in Sunshine Plaza, perched atop a waterfall simulating waves). The effect was rather effective, and this loop was the music played from just in front of the turnstiles through the main "street" lined with shops and into Sunshine Plaza itself.
After many years of poor attendance and negative visitor reviews, the decision was made to redesign and enlarge the park. While many attractions remained essentially the same, they were given re-themed to better fit the new concept. The entry into the park was also re-themed. The "postcard" concept was removed in 2011 and replaced with the current 1920's Los Angeles theme still in place today. The turnstile design resembles the entrance to the old Pan-Pacific Auditorium in Los Angeles, the Golden Gate Bridge was redesigned to imitate the Glendale-Hyperion Bridge, the main road leading to Sunshine Plaza was transformed into Buena Vista Street, and in Sunshine Plaza the sun statue was removed and replaced with an almost-to-scale replica of the Carthay Circle Theater in Hollywood. Sunshine Plaza was also renamed Carthay Circle.

NOTE:
This video includes the original 1965 pre-show audio, and the current attraction and exit audio from the "The Disneyland Story featuring Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" attraction.
"Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" was originally produced as the main attraction in the State of Illinois Pavilion for the 1964 New York World's Fair. The show was wildly popular, and the decision was made to duplicate the attraction in Disneyland.
The Disneyland version - an exact replica of the World's Fair attraction - opened on July 18, 1965 in the new Opera House. It's location on the eastern side of the Town Square section of Main Street USA, along with the subject of Abraham Lincoln, the use of the park's first human audio-animatronic, and the fact the show did not require a separate A-E "Attraction Ticket", made this a popular attraction with visitors.
NOTE:
This 'Nighttime Spectacular' made it's debut in Tokyo DisneySea on April 28, 2011. It replaced the "BraviSEAmo!"

NOTE: This parade premiered with the opening of Disney's Animal Kingdom on April 22, 1998. Originally called "March of the Animals", the parade was different from other Disney parades in that it showcased no Disney music or characters. The concept was that the inhabitants of the Safari Village area (now Discovery Island) were throwing a carnival, and the parade consisted of people dressed as fancifully designed animals.
The concept proved confusing and disappointing to park guests, who were accustomed to Disney-themed music and characters, and after a few months the name was changed to "March of the ARTimals". A few of the parade elements changed - such as adding a storyteller and more live music - in order to emphasize that this was meant to be an artistic, fanciful procession celebrating the inhabitants of the animal kingdom. The parade never really caught on with guests, and the last performance occurred on June 9, 1999.
NOTE: This attraction premiered with the opening of Disney's EPCOT Center on October 1, 1982. The Kraft-sponsored, 13-minute audio-animatronic show featured different foods (such as Mr. Hamm and Mr. Eggz, pictured) singing songs advocating the importance of nutrition.
"Kitchen Kabaret" performed it's last show on January 3, 1994. It's replacement, "Food Rocks", opened March 26, 1994.
