The Lion King - Dreams of a King - Favorite Movie Contest - (Won - Best Instrumental) ACMusicVids 2017-04-09 | So, a few days ago, I saw DannyPhantomSG1's contest:youtube.com/watch?v=KnRKF8kUHBI- and first I thought, I would skip it, thinking that last time I entered that Great Movie Contest, last year, I did horrible and was kicked out after 1st round, which was well deserved, but then I read the description, and I began thinking, what my favorite animated movie actually was, and which animated movie has meant most to me?You might be surprised that I didn't end up choosing LOTG since it's literally everywhere on my channel, even in my logo. I love LOTG, I do, but with that said, I love editing with it, 'cause it's so damn beautiful, but when it comes to the story, the music, and so on, I can see that it fails too much, so you can say, I love to edit with LOTG, but it's not my favorite animated movie.Seeing the title "Favorite Movie Contest", and it had to be animated, The Lion King came up as the first, and I knew I had to stick with that. Because The Lion King means a lot to me. I grew up with that movie, I remember loving it so much that I annoyed the crap out of my family because I wanted to see it all the time. I remember playing that awful tough pc video game (you know, the one with all the levels), I remember singing along on the Danish version of the songs, and humming along to the music. I even remember having a Simba-doll which I carried with me litarelly EVERYWHERE! - Even when I went travelling with my family - no doubt about it. The Lion King means so much to me.In my adulthood I learned to understand the movie even more, and the messages behind it. I think some of the greatest quotes comes from this movie:"There is more to see that can ever be seen, more to do, than can ever be done" "Remember who you are""Yes, the past can hurt, but the way I see it, you can either run from it, or learn from it""We are all connected in the great Circle of Life".And as I have announced in my video about music, Circle of Life - whether it's the movie-version, the Elton John-version, or the Danish version is my ultimate favorite song.I know I haven't done that many videos with The Lion King as one would do when loving a movie so much - maybe it's in an animash or two that I've done (and I think I have one single-video with it), but I guess it's actually me not knowing what to do with it - I know it might sound weird, but I really want to do this movie justice, and with this video, I've might have found the key to do it.For me this video is about getting the messages out that I finally learned to understand as an adult alongside with the scenes I remember loving to death as a kid. LOTG - Take Flight ACMusicVids 2017-02-11 | Another favorite of mine that I've missed editing with single :) And this is yet another Audiomachine track from the same album I made the HTTYD-vid with :)I have a 3rd track from that album coming up, but right now I have a little hard deciding the fandom for it, but it will be up sometime - after finishing my Valentines special and a collab ;).This video here is more detailed with effects and voiceovers as I felt it needed that - the other track already had that on going - what would you call it - energy? Well - nevertheless, I didn't feel like doing too many effects with the recent vid as with this one :) I tried making some sort of hero/idol-theme with this - that's also the reason for the quote in the end, I thought it fitted quite nicely :)Another thing. Here recently I have considered, for the first time since 2009-2010 to switch out my good old Soren-profile picture - maybe with the new logo, or simply add the logo to it. I have mixed feelings about it since that profile picture has been with me from the start and it feels like a part of me, and I love it, but I think that maybe something new should happen to it. It might just end out with me putting more effects on it and add the logo, but what do you think? Anyway, I hope you like this here as well :)

Pocahontas - Wonder Woman Trailer ACMusicVids 2016-11-25 | It's getting old, isn't it? Me apologizing for not uploading anything in like forever, so I'll skip that and say - you know, real life :)I actually have a lot of ideas and have quite a lot of inspiration now, but it's like I need an extra push when it comes to opening the editor, but here goes one of the projects that I've had in mind in a long time.Ever since the trailers for Wonder Woman came out, I've grown more and more excited for this movie! I simply can't wait for it. It looks so beautiful and thrilling - it's mean releasing such good trailers so long before the movie is released! xD.In a long time I wanted to do something with the trailers, but I couldn't find the right woman to be Diana - first I tried with Elsa, but that didn't seem to work out, but then, here the other day, it hit me! Pocahontas of course! Though Pocahontas is far from a superhero (she doesn't do much in the movie), the set up, with Diana's character and such seemed very alike, and I think, despite the lag of video where Pocahontas is fighting, that it went pretty well :)I don't know if it's me, but I kinda feel more and more confused with all these animated movies + other fandoms around me right now (and it's probably going to be worse). I just simply can't overcome all these releases and old movies, so I've decided that I'm uploading the projects I'm feeling for and not stressing out on new movies, and when I say new, I mean like: Inside Out, Zootopia, KFP 3, and so on - I really want to do projects and I will do them - both single and in mashes, but it will take some time :)In real life, things are going okay. I'm working voluntarily for a local television-channel, so I'm learning a lot about getting ideas, writing manuscripts, filming and of course editing. So even thought I don't get paid and that I have to live at home at the age of now 26, which sucks, I really enjoy it. The people there are so sweet and kind :)Otherwise, I don't think I have anymore to say than: enjoy it! :)
Pokémon XY&Z - Hero In Your Heart ACMusicVids 2016-09-15 | SPOILER WARNING !!With this, in my opinion, amazing part of the Pokémon series coming to an end, I really wanted to make a vid with it - especially now since it has concluded it's last heavy arc. I have really enjoyed this arc which is sort of the conclusion as well as there very few episodes left, and now that I have seen the trailer for Sun & Moon (the next pokemon saga), I really doubt that I will enjoy that as much (mostly animation wise). I will really recommend this pokemon series - XY and XY&Z is without a doubt the best pokemon main series to this date in my opinion - seriously, some of the episodes of these series have had me in tears! It has some pretty dark and emotional episodes (especially the last ones) for pokemon and I understand why they want to go more light-heartet for Sun and Moon, but I don't get why they had to redesign Ash's character to that goofy cartoonish character they've now made him - why fix something that's not broken? Sorry for my little rant there....Well, for some who haven't followed this, it might be a little confusing, but I hope you might be able to catch on a little - it's all in Japanese for now as they haven't dubbed nor subbed these episodes yet. By the way, I recommend watching this series in Japanese with English subs as the music and voices are much, much better than the dub! www.animeonline.one - you can see them all here - both XY and XY&Z.Otherwise - what do you guys think of the new logo? For a long time, I've really wanted a logo representing what I feel like, me - as an editor, and combined with my love for LOTG, I found this owl-helmet, edited it a little in Photoshop - and there you go! I think it's quite neat, but I would like to hear your opinion as well. As much as I want you guys to see it, I don't want it to take away to focus of the video. I've now got a little more inspiration for editing which have been pretty low. As I told Fan, I have actually been considering stopping in editing as well. It's due to the lag of subs, lag of decent comments and my age, but I've decided that I love to do this, it's a part of me, and I'll keep on editing and people can follow or not ;)The You Pick, I Vid-project failed once again, I chose to take it down as I didn't get the response I hoped for - but I'm not blaming anyone but myself. Merida, Princess of Scotland ACMusicVids 2015-07-12 | What's that? An upload?! After all these years? - Arhh, maybe not years, but I have been lagging on uploading videos, and the exams definitely had their part in keeping me from it, BUT!Yesterday me and my family returned home after a week-trip to Scotland! One of my dream destinations! One of the most amazing trips I've been on (and I've been on a lot) - if you ever get the chance on traveling to this magnificent country, you should certainly take it!We have been driving almost all over the country - from Edinburgh to Isle of Skye - to Stirling - every town, story, legend (didn't get to see Nessie, though), ruin, person and sight have just been amazing!I must say - Brave doesn't do the country justice (but it's surely close) in showing how beautiful, mysterious and amazing Scotland is, but it is the only movie I have where Scotland is the setting, so I did this little homage-thing - representing both the story in Brave between mom and daughter and the scenery this country have.About future uploads - I haven't actually any big projects in the works yet (other than some birthday presents (shh...)) - but I will certainly begin on working on some as I owe my new subs (which I can see increases - yay!) an upload or two besides presents, so I'll certainly work on it.

Frozen - Strong (Cinderella) ACMusicVids 2015-03-15 | With the overexciting announcement we got the other day (sure you know what I'm talking about), and me now having seen both Cinderella and Frozen Fever (duh, that combination is pretty obvious), I just had to do something with Frozen and Cinderella together - and here we are.I already loved the song just by listening to the soundtrack before I even saw the movie :) - and matching it with Frozen wasn't that difficult, and I couldn't help myself to use some Fever footage swell :)(I'm pretty sure it would make a great mixture with Tangled and Brave as well), so beside having my 3rd "You Pick, I Vid"-project filled, I did this "little" thing over the weekend :)I have to say, I was a little disappointed in Cinderella - don't know, I just sorta expected more from it plot-vise, but Frozen Fever didn't disappointed me at all (then again, I actually didn't have any expectations for it, I mean it's not fair expecting a huge plot for a short in 7 minutes...), I thought it was really, really cute and I just fell in love with Elsa's sneeze-snowmen, they are just too adorable! I remember the whole cinema going "aww" when they popped out! :)Usually most of my Frozen-videos turn out to be Anna & Elsa-relationship based (not Elsanna, ew, hate and despite that fandom even more than Helsa!), but this time I thought it would be neat to give some of the other characters like Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf some attention :)Don't think I have anything else on my mind - maybe that beside the "Towards the Sun"-animash and a ton of MEP parts to finish, I'll start working on the requests I got back in December yet again - haven't forgotten them! :)

I just love the characters, the animation, the story, the music - everything! HTTYD - Warriors (Lord of the Dance) ACMusicVids 2014-12-18 | Finally, my exams are over and so is my semester for this year, so now: Holiday! Which means (hopefully) a lot of editing as I have a lot of projects and MEPs to finish - including those who send their requests, which I'm really thankful for, there's a lot of good challenges in those ;)This is yet one of the projects I've had in my Vidder's Tag. Warriors from Lord of the Dance has always been a favorite of mine, and I've always wanted to do something with it, especially with HTTYD as the music is just in mood for the music, especially now HTTYD 2 is out, there's a lot of material to use.Now, it's quite simple, actually I've included most of my favorite dragons in this in the beginning and then Hiccup and Toothless partnership at the end, with a lot of crazy overlays ;P Some of the flashes might be a little bad timed, but Premiere Pro was crashing down and lagging, so I decided to just go with the final result ;)
Mr. Peabody - Imagine ACMusicVids 2014-12-11 | This was actually supposed to be uploaded the 8th December as this is the date John Lennon died in 1980, and he is absolutely one of my favorite artists and this track is definitely one of the reasons that I like him so much along with Happy Xmas/War is Over which I've already made a HTTYD-vid with (actually 2 as I've remade).Mr. Peabody with Imagine was a project I had in mind ever since I saw the movie for the first time, and it was actually supposed to be the birthday gift for thefanvideoer2, so Fan, you can see this as a late birthday gift ;).It was shown as well in my Vidder's Tag, so I've been quite eager to get this done (and it was especially frustrating that I couldn't rip it with my original ripper, so I had to buy a new one, thank God that you get paid for studying in DK ;)).I actually planned to have this all in black & white, but I chose this rough texture instead with gave the video a nice light color as well, and I didn't want to go all that into flashes and stuff since the song is slow and nice :)

Yeah, seems like it xD, but this was actually made yesterday, so I wanted to have this uploaded too :) But then again, I haven't uploaded anything in weeks ;)I became so happy when I managed to download the extended soundtrack of HTTYD 2, and with that came this loving instrumental with both "Test Drive" and "Flying With Mother" on piano, which I've waited for in a long time."And where was I?" "Will you give me another chance?" - That could pretty much had been from Elsa to Anna as well ;), and it wasn't that hard to match the sisterly bond between those two with this soundtrack :)

Elsa - And She Was Gone - Poem (As Told by Ginger) ACMusicVids 2014-10-14 | If you (as me) followed "As Told by Ginger" or "Gabby's Stories" as it was translated to here in Denmark, I'm sure you'll remember this, from one of my favorite episodes.The poem is about depression and suicide, but as I heard it, I couldn't stop thinking about neither Elsa or Raven (Teen Titans) and thought about using both, but it (as you can see) ended up being with Elsa. This is my first video, where the lyrics is shown on the video, so bear with me, if they're either too late, too fast, or something else. Saving Mr. Banks - When You Wish Upon A Star ACMusicVids 2014-10-03 | For those who haven't seen this movie, this can be a little hard to truly understand, but bottom-line for this movie is how the movie, Disney's Mary Poppins came to be, and I have to say; this movie is very touching. Few movies makes me tear up - Saving Mr. Banks is now one o them. Especially when it starts digging deeper and deeper into P. L. Traver's past and why she keeps holding back. HTTYD - New Tomorrow ACMusicVids 2014-06-13 | So this was supposed to be uploaded yesterday as the title "New Tomorrow" would have made more sense as this is my tribute to the first HTTYD movie - no shorts or episodes or clips from the new released sequel.The song is an old Danish Eurovision song I've always thought it would fit great with HTTYD :)
