It didn't. I failed completely and even forgot about the tracker.
But I learned exactly why it failed and what I'm doing differently in January. If you struggle to build habits with ADHD, maybe my mistakes can help you avoid the same ones. I'll be back at the end of January with results.

The first 45 minutes were pure agony. My ADHD brain was panicking, I couldn't sit still, and boredom felt unbearable. But then something shifted in the last 15 minutes. I felt calm, peaceful, and even got emotional from the stillness.
If you have ADHD and struggle with constant stimulation, boredom, or being present with your thoughts, this might resonate with you.
ADHD and boredom have a complicated relationship. Our brains crave constant dopamine and stimulation, which makes doing nothing feel impossible. But learning to sit with boredom might actually help our ADHD brains more than we think.

For years, I’ve struggled with building habits because I aim too high or wait for “perfect” timing. ADHD makes it trickier, but I want to see if starting tiny actually works.
In this video, I’m setting up my habits: 2 minutes of workout, meditation, journaling, reading, and drawing. No pressure, just starting small.
If you’ve ever wanted to start something but felt overwhelmed, this might be for you.
Stick around, I’ll check back at the end of the month and see how it went!
