Despite some stuttering, and an unfortunate mispronunciation of her name, the two finally introduce themselves to each other.04:35 InterrogationDuring the interrogation, Maua recognizes one of the detectives despite not having seen him for the past 15 years. He remains professional, but Maua catches a quick glimpse of recognition from him, confirming he does recognize her at least by her unique name. During the interrogation, Maua doesn't quite reveal the full story of why she showed up to the party, but she reveals just enough to possibly accidentally giving the detectives a motive for why she might not have been fond of Mr. White.05:46 Trying to sleepElizabeth (Cinderella), one of the manor's staff members, comes to guide her to her room for the night. Maua takes the chance to ask her about Mr. White, but Elizabeth's answer leaves Maua more confused than before.Not long after entering her room, the detectives knock on the door to tell her that she, along with most of the guests, must stay for the night and perhaps longer yet.06:29 Cleaning with ClaraMaua tries to sleep, but is haunted by a core memory from her childhood from when she last saw a younger Detective Miles, warning her against the path she was walking down as a child. A loud crack of thunder wakes her up and she decides she just can't sleep anymore. Maua wanders until she hears the sound of running water from the kitchen and walks inside to meet Clara (Nanny) who has loads of work to do. It's inspired by one of my favorite RPG maker games of all times "Mad father", where the mad father in question saves a homeless woman, makes her his assistant and then has an affair with her. In that though, depending on your actions as the protagonist and daughter of the mad father, the assistant leaves his shitty mad butt behind and Nanny... will not. Ever. She's fiercely loyal.There's a LOT of things up to interpretation here though: Does Eleanor feel the same way? Or is she taking advantage of Nanny's feelings for her? Is this taking place in the Cinderella universe where Nanny just happens to ALSO be a maid in the house since before Cinderella joined the picture? Is Cinderella still Eleanor's step daughter or is she hired help like Nanny, but who is mistreated - unlike Nanny? Is Nanny unaware of Eleanor's abusive, wicked ways or does she not care?Let me know how you interpreted this video. I deliberately left a lot up to the imagination! Honestly, if Nanny had more footage, I could see myself make an entire crossover just with this set-up, but as it is... Literally just an experiment.I needed a break from editing my first round for @MxDisney and I just saw that annapantsu and chloebreez uploaded a cover of "Loser, baby" from Hazbin Hotel and I just HAD to do it with Hollina.Now, some of you may be thinking... why the Hell is Holli not the one acting as Angel Dust? I have a few reasons for that... first of all, Thumbelina canonically is naive and gullible. She gets taken advantage of multiple times in her movie by multiple people as well. She's also easily affected by other people and how they perceive her, whereas Holli does whatever pleases her. 「MD 2024」Audition | Maua Kuchanua AiraSora 2023-11-20 | Hey dudes, dudettes and dudles!PLOT00:00 Night shiftPicture it; New York City, 1985. Maua Kuchanua is a 24-year old African-American woman who has just finished her night shift and is getting ready to go home to the house she and her mother has lived in her whole life. On her way, she sees Fagin, a homeless man she often speaks with and helps whenever she can even though she has very little to give herself.00:34 The loan sharkA man Maua knows drives up to her and reminds her that she still owes him 5k and it's time to pay up. Maua does her best to try and deescalate the situation, while also rejecting the man's carnal suggestions, when Fagin decides to distract the man long enough for Maua to slip away and get home safely.01:10 Mystery letterAt home, Maua reads a letter adressed to her mother, inviting her to a party in the uptown part of New York at the White mansion. Maua questions how her mother would even know the Whites, but her mother dismisses her as she usually does when Maua asks about her mother's past. Frustrated by her mother's constant secrets, also regarding her father, Maua decides this is her chance to find some answers, puts on her most fancy outside and leaves to go to the party.02:04 Fish out of waterAt the White mansion, Maua is immediately overwhelmed by all the riches and doesn't know what to even do at a party like this, when a stranger approaches her. Maua admits to being overwhelmed and unfamiliar while the girl has clearly been to parties like this before, but seemingly not out of her own free will. The girl tells her that the Whites are horrible people, but before she can give specifics, Mr. White grabs the attention of everyone to give a speech. Hybrid masking tutorial | ADOBE AFTER EFFECTS AiraSora 2023-08-29 | Hey dudes, dudettes and dudles!Here's a little tutorial about hybrid masking aka using more than one method to create a mask. Here is the transcript for what I'm saying in the video in case the captions are gonna fail me:You might be wondering what even IS a hybrid mask? Let’s get the basics down first: a mask is when you cut a character out of their original background in order to put them in a different environment or put them next to another character. You do this by masking and there’s a few different masking methods. The most common ones are chroma key, manual pen tool and rotobrushing. Today, we’re focusing on chroma keying and rotobrushing in the Adobe After Effects program.We’ll start off by chroma keying away the red color surrounding Belle. Now, the effect here is called obsolete – keying, but it works the exact same way as chroma keying does by choosing a color you want to remove and then adjusting some settings until you’re happy with the result. I’m choosing two shades of red to remove to get as much away as possible.Now that that’s done and only Belle’s dress is left visible, I go and rotobrush the dress so everything else is gone too. If I went straight to rotobrushing instead of chroma keying first, I would have to rotobrush the whole thing myself, for example those tiny dainty fingers she has and while the rotobrush tool has pretty decent AI, it would need my help to rotobrush this, so chroma keying it from the beginning makes this process much easier.Now, as you can see, since Belle has some red in her skin and hair that is now completely gone from the scene, so we’ll add the shot of Belle again. This time though, we’re going to use rotobrush to add what is missing from the other shot – that being Belle’s hair and skin. So I’m asking the rotobrush tool to mask just her upper body since I’ve already masked the rest of her.As you can see, the rotobrush’s AI is doing a lot of the work for me, but it does need some tweaking here and there to make it just right. But rotobrushing just this small part of Belle instead of everything of her has made the process way faster. So instead of spending maybe 15+ minutes doing this, I’ve spent less than 5 minutes instead.Hope you guys enjoyed this little tutorial and for those curious, yes, this mask is indeed for my Quaselle video with the song Mary on a Cross. MY SKIN | Thrax & Odette [concept video] AiraSora 2023-07-30 | Hey dudes, dudettes and dudles!Yet another concept video of mine though this one is very different from the one with Quasimodo and Belle. In the Quaselle video, I wanted to put two different scenes together to see how they would potentially look together before MAYBE committing to editing it properly.This Thraxette video however is more a reflection of a story for them that I had a slight idea for months ago, but suddenly came crashing at me this past week, while I also stumbled across some of my own old videos where I used this song.You can't see any of that Thraxette story here in this video, BUT just to give an idea what it's about: Thrax's alien species is known for plundering whichever planet they set their eyes on and will take whatever they want or believe they need. During their attack on Earth, Thrax meets Odette and decides she's his loot this time and brings her onboard the space ship. This is, however, NOT a normal thing they do and his fellow travelers are shocked when they eventually find Odette, whom Thrax has hidden in his quarters on the ship. Thinking fast, Thrax says he intends to bring her to their leader due to her being a princess - reality is he just took her the same way he has stolen so many things before without a care in the world.This scene here I imagine is at a type of celebration where Odette is sort of bullied into singing for them all, basically she's just there to entertain them and they all assume they won't like her singing cause she's a human and what's good singing for them is probably not the same for Thrax's species. What this job is though, she doesn't reveal... but given she often has to bring her brother with her whenever her mother is too ill to take care of her, it does make you wonder what kind of job she could even have?During a field trip, Sophia brings her brother with her who is so excited that he trips over his own two feet. For the school project, Sophia has brought her own camera with her, her most precious and expensive possession.When Brennnan starts imaging the T Rex coming to life, Sophia plays along and pretends the T Rex is indeed alive. Brennan overshares to the dinosaur though, which one of Sophia's classmates, Pepper, overhears. Taking her eyes away from Brennan just a moment gives him just enough time to run up the dinosaur and scream for his sister to take a picture. Grabbing her camera, Sophia quickly snaps a few pictures that she decides to NOT turn in to her teachers because she'd really rather not have them tell her she can't bring her brother with her anymore. That would be a very big problem.
