New Year, a New Direction & New Problems Gadget John Adventures 2025-01-16 | We get back on the road heading through France and into spain, however, we run into some van problems on the road in France that could could serious issues on our trip. Our journey takes us over the Pyrenees from France and into Spain where we find a lovely walled town with campervan services for just โฌ3 per 24 hours. Season Finale Gadget John Adventures 2024-10-05 | It's been around 9 weeks since our previous video where Mandy had just had surgery to remove an infection that had caused sepsis after just completing her cancer treatment.We had to move campsite due to the previous campsite having to close due to the only access road closing for 2 weeks to be resurfaced, so we moved the Spitfire Park Campsite - which we highly recommend spitfirepark.comMandys recovery was estimated to be 10 to 12 weeks and to start with it took a few weeks until she was able to walk for more than a few minutes, but she took things slowly and each day we tried that little bit more until after a month she was walking more and was far more stable on her feet.With the help of renewed confidence in her health and the arrival of our friends, Jon & Tash from @lifebeyondbricks as well as Darran from @TheUrbanMotorhome, Mandys recovery has been remarkable and in just 10 weeks she's walking and driving again.There's still a long way to go until she's back to the fitness levels pre cancer & sepsis, however, were working on that each day in order to get back to doing what we started this channel for in the first place, the love of travel.Mandy has some hospital appointments in the next 2 months to see how the cancer treatment, and sepsis recovery, is looking. BLOCKED ROADS after STORMS - Scotland Winter Vanlife Travels Gadget John Adventures 2023-12-31 | As we continue our winter vanlife travels through Scotland we encounter Storm Gerrits deadly force as it brought winds of over 80mph to whip up the snow and bring down some trees. My van also decided the adblue problems needed escalating and came up with a new message to say the van would fail to start in a few miles. 5 Countries, 4 Aircraft & Crazy Golf Gadget John Adventures 2023-06-25 | In this video we explore the beautiful Colmar and the surrounding area before heading off to Luxembourg to meetup with friends and explore the amazing city of Luxembourg, which sadly for us meant some urgent medical help was needed, but after that was sorted we spent 2 days exploring Luxembourg and enjoying some great food & views there. We then headed into The Netherlands to visit with Family first and then friends, before heading to Amsterdam for a little holiday. Our two-van convoy to France starts! John & Mandy Gadget John Adventures 2023-05-07 | And we are off! Our 3 months tour of France, which will also include some other countries too, is off and straight away Mandy wins the cost challenge as her little van was ยฃ35 cheaper on the EuroTunnel but strangely we both got stopped at he border checks as they didn't believe our campervans had no gas on board. Once we got that cleared up it was into France and time to enjoy life in the land of camping aires!
