I also tried out the hy-power pigment paint in shade coca matte as well as the PHD hybrid lip oil in the shade tint. I wanted to give you guys a very in-depth review for the haus labs foundation, so I did a 2-day wear test to really get an understanding of the haus labs formulation and approach.The Skin Tech foundation focuses on 3 main ingredients, with the featured one being the patent-pending fermented arnica. It's supposed to help reduce redness, even skin tone and protect from environmental stress. It says on the Haus Labs website that this foundation is suitable for all skin types and has a medium buildable coverage. This Haus Labs foundation felt weightless both times I wore it. I'm glad I was able to do a foundation first impression along with a longer wear test because it gave me a great understanding of the new product! Shade matching for this foundation was a bit tricky. In this video, I show you guys my first impressions of these new NYX lip products as well as swatching all 12 new shades on my lips and on my hand. I also compare these new smooth whip matte lip creams to the popular NYX soft matte lip creams and let you know what differences I notice right away. These are supposed to be one-swipe pigmentation and give you long lasting color. For me, I wore this product the rest of the night (as I type this actually) and I did notice some fading on the inner lips from when I ate dinner. I noticed lipstick transfer on my cup as I ate dinner as well. So I wouldn't say they're transfer proof BUT before eating dinner, I wasn't noticing any fading. So I got about 2.5 hours of full wear before eating. Now, I still have the majority of the color on my lips with the exception of the inside. NEW ELF Halo Glow Liquid Filter VS Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter | First Impression Kristina Aranilla 2022-07-26 | In this video, I'm showing you guys my first impressions of the NEW Elf Halo Glow Liquid Filter in shades 3 light/medium and 5 medium/tan and I'm comparing it to the famous Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter in the shades 4.5 medium and 5 tan. Charlotte Tilbury also markets the Hollywood Flawless Filter the same ways, so I wanted to see if they resemble each other on the skin!As far as the way they sat on the skin:I wore both the ELF halo glow and Charlotte Tilbury flawless filters on my face for about 7 hours after filming this video, and because I have combo skin, I found that I did produce oils. My oils were just a little more apparent on the CT side, on top of my cheek, by my nose. But that's only if I'm looking really in-depth and being picky about it. Overall, neither of them broke up my complexion products and both kept the skin looking dewy and beautiful!For the TikTok I referenced — Jane Tsui (the creator) made an updated TikTok video saying that ELF had released the correct ingredient list after she posted her initial video. I love how he maps out how each product is supposed to wear on the skin. And I feel like the makeup by mario softsculpt line really allows you to build onto each product with each new release.So in this video, I'll be showing you both the skin enhancer and skin perfector on my medium to tan skin tone. Currently, I do have combination skin so I love a radiant finish that will continue to glow but not look greasy throughout the day!UPDATE:I wore this face of makeup for another 10 hours after filming this video. My face did get more oily through my t-zone, but the enhancer and perfector stayed put. I added more of the perfector to see how bronzed I could get my skin, and I looked like I just got back from vacation!! (Except I kind of did LOL). I love how I can build these products up but I still look like I have a super thin layer of product on my face. I liked it even more the longer I wore it on my skin because my natural oils blended so well with it. NEW RARE BEAUTY POSITIVE LIGHT TINTED MOISTURIZER | FIRST IMPRESSION + DEMO Kristina Aranilla 2022-04-08 | UPDATE:So I wore this tinted moisturizer again the next day and I liked the way it wore better. I primed with the Rare Beauty primer and applied the tinted moisturizer with the rare beauty foundation brush. I ended up setting half of my face with my Laura Mercier translucent powder and really loved how soft it looked. After about hour 5, I noticed I was pretty oily all over, so I would recommend powdering the entire face if you tend to get oily throughout the day. Overall, it stayed put though even with my oils and the foundation shade stayed true to color. I really love how buildable this tinted moisturizer is and I think it's a great option for those of us who like a lighter coverage for those easy makeup looks!In this video, I'm testing out and doing a demo of the new Rare Beauty Positive Light Tinted Moisturizer in the shade 32n. ELF *NEW* BROW LIFT — A DUPE FOR ABH BROW FREEZE? | SIDE BY SIDE COMPARISON Kristina Aranilla 2021-12-28 | In this video, I'm going to be doing a side by side comparison of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze and the new Elf Brow Lift. Both of these products are wax-based brow products that claim to give the brows a lifted and feathery look or a laminated look without actual brow lamination. Does this Elf brow lift at $6 dupe the Anastasia brow freeze at $23? Follow along as I show you guys my usual application techniques to get a feathery look — I also show you how each product does laminated.To give you some background, I have thick and stubborn brow hairs that don't like to stay laminated. The brow freeze doesn't claim to give a laminated look (just feathery) but I wanted to show you anyways since I've seen people on Tiktok and YouTube laminate with it! But overall, it does end up coming off of the skin and becoming a more feathered look. Maybelline has an existing line of color sensational ultimatte slim lipsticks, and they decided to expand that line with neutral matte shades fall and winter 2021. This formulation is the perfect non-drying matte lipstick formula that's creamy and buildable. If you want to wear it as a light stain lipstick, you can simply dab it with your fingertips. But if you swatch these Maybelline lipsticks, you're able to get full, opaque pigmentation. These Maybelline lipsticks are perfect for the fall and winter time because they feature a ton of cool-toned neutrals as well as some warm-toned neutrals. I find that the range also includes nude lipsticks for fair skin all the way to nude lipsticks for deep skintones. I picked up some Electric Mood products — the electric mood palette, electric mood crayons and electric mood glassy skin balm to talk about a few. As far as the Sleeping Mask goes, I did try it the last few nights after filming this video. It feels nice on the skin and could probably replace a night moisturizer versus layering it on top. I did end up getting a couple little pimples here and there, but that could also be because I've been wearing my mask for long periods of time again! BITE BEAUTY POWER MOVE HYDRATING SOFT MATTE LIPSTICKS | SWATCHES + REVIEW ON MEDIUM SKINTONE Kristina Aranilla 2021-08-06 | Today I swatched the new Bite Beauty Power Move Hydrating Soft Matte Lipsticks that come in 20 shades. I had seven shades to swatch for you guys and I was really curious how these would swatch on a medium skintone. The formula of these power move lipsticks are non-drying and hydrating lipsticks that give you a blurred effect. Overall, they wear really nicely. They feel very lightweight on the lips and they leave a slight stain on your lips depending on how deep the shade is. I found that the darker shades left a better stain than the lighter ones (like Chai.) so if you're looking for a lip product that leaves a stain, go for a deeper tone and blot it or let it wear throughout the day. I wouldn't say they have crazy staying power, but I wore Radicchio for the rest of the night and after eating dinner and a snack, I could still see some color on my lips.
