These are the materials you will need:º Memory Foam or Sponge Memory Foam is super soft and squishy but it's not so easy to get (I got mine from an old pillow), however you can also use sponges.º Puffy PaintI really recommend using puffy paint or fabric paint, if you use acrylic paints it will dry hard and your squishy won't be so soft. Also, diluting your paint with water will make the painting process easier.º Feltº Penº Super Glueº ClayI added a kawaii face to my squishy to make it look cuter, but that's completely optional. DIY Summer Fruits Slime - with cute containers! PinkSugarCotton 2016-07-15 | ❤ SUSCRÍBETE A MI CANAL EN ESPAÑOL! goo.gl/8MY5Bl Hi everyone! I have seen a lot of slime videos lately and I thought it would be fun to try it, so I decided to make some and decorate glass jars to make them look as cute summer fruits, but also for storage purposes! Mine have been fresh for a whole week already and counting! For this project you will need glass jars in any size you prefer; as I made just a small quantity of slime I used miniature ones. I got them at my local supermarket (they were miniature versions of marmalade) but if you can't find this, baby food jars would work just as well.If you are using polymer clay, make sure the lid of your jar is not plastic as you will be baking it. If you don't have polymer clay or your jar has a plastic lid, then you can use air dry clay instead.I forgot to mention that after painting your jar, you must seal it with any compatible varnish as the acrylics will fade or scratch off easily if not.For the slime, I didn't use any specific amounts of glue or detergent, I just added it on the go until I had the consistency I was expecting. I used Elmer's white glue and I think any detergent works for this project. My friend Alex from PolymomoTea also made a tutorial inspired by the year of the Monkey, so make sure to check his video as well! youtu.be/yG8xoRVNAiUThis is a little bit more challenging project compared with my Tsum Tsum sock plushes tutorials, so if you are a beginner I highly recommend you checking this two sewing technique tutorials before getting started:Maqaroon: youtube.com/watch?v=Li5sjrDS7aQBudget Hobby: youtube.com/watch?v=z4myn5GrPz8I personally learned a lot from these awesome crafters, and I think they are a must watch for any sock plush lover.Other than using polymer clay to make the facial features of your plush, you can also use felt, embroidery thread or plastic beads.For the tail, I would also recommend you stuffing it lightly with some polyester fiber before adding the wire.As for the silicone, you can replace it with some craft glues like UHU or white glue, or sew everything instead of gluing it. Today I will show you how to make this adorable Cat Pudding Memo Holder using air dry clay, but of course you can also use polymer clay.There are several types of air dry clay, like resin clay, cold porcelain or paper clay.For this tutorial I used Hearty paper clay, and once it dries it's very light and hard.
