Skipped a few teeth on the timing gear and was pretty tired but good enough to test the hydraulics! New engine is .080 over pistons with new bearings, lifters, valves, shaved head and block. Hoping it will be together soon in the next couple weeks.

Replica WW1 Tank Build Kammcswin 2023-02-14 | Just a history nerd that likes to work with metal, this is about 5 months of time lapse. Don’t work on it everyday as I still need to pay bills but I say the vid definitely shows progress. The WW1 French Renault FT17 is considered the worlds first modern tank. With crew compartment in the front with a fully rotating turret and engine separated to the rear of the hull, this early design is the continued layout for modern tanks. Due to the scrap drives of world war 2 and being a First World War tank in another world war many were lost in combat and few examples remain today. This example I’m building will be a running example for film and shows for fellow history nerds. Enjoy!
