Shamook Movie Deepfake Showreel 2025 Shamook 2025-10-19 | It's been a wild few years, I want to show the three projects I had a big part in and am most proud of.Over the past 4 years, I've gone from making YouTube videos to working on dozens of some of the biggest movies with some insanely talented people.I'm not going to list everything I worked on because I don't want to take credit for other peoples work hard, where I may have only consulted or gave a small input.ILM plucked me from YouTube, and took a gamble on someone with no previous industry experience. I spent most of my time there working on Indiana Jones - Dial of Destiny.I couldn't have asked for a better company and colleagues to guide me into the industry, most of the way I work day to day is because of their amazing tutoring.The rest of my time at ILM was spent testing the technology and seeing what and where it could help.I left ILM after two years on my own accord and on good terms to join Metaphysic, a company entirely set up for deepfakes and somewhere I felt I could have much more of an impact with my knowledge.We worked on some amazing movies and truly made ground breaking developments in the industry. Shortly before their merger with another VFX company, I decided to move on again.I'm still making deepfakes, I'm still working with AI, and I'm still enjoying every minute of it.Will I come back to making my old style of YouTube videos? Using these images we can create a 180 degree facial profile that we feed into a machine learning driven piece of software (DeepFaceLabs), along with Tom Hanks face from Forrest Gump. The software, over days and sometimes weeks, learns to transfer Travoltas face to Hanks.
