Changing The Front Struts On My Kubota Sidekick Unemployed Redneck Hillbilly Creations 2022-09-14 | Kubota sidekick factory struts must be replaced with heavy duty versions if you add a glass windshield to the machine. I added a winch and glass windshield that rendered the stock struts useless. First Kubota said just the springs can be changed but that was a lie and the springs I was sold could not be made to fit. Finally Kubota admitted the whole strut assemblies must be purchased and installed. This just shows how to change out factory struts for heavy duty struts. It's the only way to fix the handling of the machine if weight has been added.
