We still deploy the same unique 77-step craft process we first developed for the iconic 1006 Navy chair, created for US Navy warships and submarines in the 1940s and built so strong it comes with a lifetime warranty. Cutting, bending, forming, stamping, welding, grinding, heat treating, hand brushing, anodizing are some of the steps needed to turn ordinary scrap aluminum into chairs of extraordinary strength.
