ECLIPSE Fabbri Group 2022-06-10 | Fabbri Group’s technical staff have just completed the mechanical operation tests on the company’s brand new major ride ECLIPSE, as well as the checking of its safety equipment. Designed to be transported on one single trailer, ECLIPSE is made up of an arm featuring a counterweight on one end, and a 9-meter circular plate on the other end, Both the arm and the plate rotate clockwise and counter-clockwise. The arm is fastened to the structure in an inclined position through a swinging bearing, and its rotation makes the plate tilt during its own rotation. Five 4-seater satellites are installed on the plate, and they spin indipendently. Their spinning movements are sudden and unpredictable as they are caused by a number of variables such as the speed and acceleration of the arm and plate, the position and tilt of the plate compared to the arm and center as well as the passengers’ weight.

The passengers of this 8-arm attraction can expect a breathtaking ride experience: once seated in the eight 2-seater cars, in a few seconds they rocket up to 13.5 m in height... they climb down, go up, climb down again and all this following also the movement of the ride’s center that rotates at a speed of 10 revolutions per minute. The result is an intense and unforgettable experience requiring a minimum height of 130/140 cm for riders, and making them experience g-forces of up to 2.5 g. In Control has a footprint of 22x14(h) m (incl. safety envelope) and reduced energy consumption (230 kW) thanks to its state-of-the-art E3 low consumption engines (only 55 kW per engine). As for transport, the ride requires one single trailer, measuring 16.4m long and aprox 4m high. Yet, the first unit, which will operate in Germany, will also need a trailer for its themed façade given its size: 6.7 m high, it will cover half the circumference of the attraction.The assembly of In Control is carried out in 8 to 10 hours. WHEEL 34Mt Toulon - France Fabbri Group 2022-02-04 | Since the end of November, the city of Toulon on the French Riviera has also been enjoying a Ferris wheel by Fabbri Group. The attraction is a 34-metre tall portable model, with a diameter of 30.4 metres and a weight of approximately 80 tons, and it has been installed in the city’s harbour district. White coloured and classic in design to harmoniously match the location, it offers stunning 360-degree views over the city allowing passengers to enjoy the entire port and the old town from above.It features 24 enclosed gondolas, each holding up to 6 riders, and also including a VIP luxury gondola. Hourly capacity is 1,000 passengers. The ride’s power requirements are 51.2kW for the motors and 12-15kW for the lights. Installed for the Christmas season, the Ferris wheel was a new attraction that citizens and tourists appreciated very much with thousands of people taking a ride. Retailers of the harbor district also benefited from it given the great increase in footfall. The success was such that the Council asked that the attraction remain even beyond the holiday season. GIANT WHEEL 55 m Fabbri Group 2020-10-09 | A 55m portable Giant Wheel by Fabbri Group has been operating in Magdeburg, Germany since last May 9. Called ‘The Wheel of Hope’ by its owners – brothers Hendrick and Stefan Boos – this is the very first portable attraction in Europe to open to the public in the post-Coronavirus era.The giant wheel features 42 comfortable cabins with partially transparent walls. Two of them are VIP cabins.
