Ancient Bones Farming Guide
updated
1 Defence limitations are actually quite rough. First and foremost, you cannot use very many defensive abilities. The only defensive abilities you have are Anticipation (via overload to 3+ Defence) and Devotion (no requirements). That means no Natural Instinct on P5 so you can't easily do everything you need while eating food, no Barricade to block rocks, no Immortality for a safeguard on P5, no Resonance to heal from Hold Still, no Reflect to reduce damage from fonts, the list goes on. Secondly, no armor perks means no Enhanced Devoted so you take even more damage, and you have to do weird weapon perks like having Biting on them. And finally, there are some weird, arbitrary limitations like not being allowed to use Spellbook Swap on Ancients, even though you can do The Light Within without unlocking Lunars. This means I can't use Entangle without staying on Standards, so I will be losing a bit of damage that way. However, Standards will become required for Telos pushing as time passes, which I'm not exactly looking forward to but it must be done.
This strategy is very much a brute-force method, though. P1 to P3 is basically the same as normal kills, although I decide to start using the fractured staff of Armadyl spec with Tsunami to get through that phase quicker and that will be my way to go up to 4000%, minus Tsunami because Incite Fear wouldn't be available from camping Standards. Otherwise, there's nothing too new there.
P4 though, that's an interesting one. We go back to on-release year or so methods where we kill every golem, but with modern flairs. Before fonts 1 and 2, you may notice me using Ice Barrage on Telos quite often. This is because he won't start charging the font until he walks up to the general area. So if he can't move, that buys me more time to kill golems before getting rinsed by the instant kill and other specs. Getting specs is basically instant death, so you need to 0 spec or else you die. But either way, the goal here is to reduce as much damage as possible by kiting and freezing golems, killing them off to reduce as much damage as possible. It still hurts a ton, though.
P5 is honestly the part that screams brute-force the hardest. Killing golems off is doable at this enrage, but it will stop working very quickly. Nonetheless, deleting them from existence with staff of light spec up from P4 end is the easiest way to go, then you go max DPS just as you do for sub-1000% enrage.
As enrage climbs higher and higher, P4 and P5 will transform into something wildly different, but for the time being this is what 1 Defence players have. It's going to be good stuff.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

This was surprisingly rough at around 21.5 hours total. A lot of it just came down to both of us just alternating throws multiple times as well as an incredibly stupid bug with Heal Other and Spellbook Swap that deleted a ton of our P7 attempts as well as me forgetting that no, you don't use Devotion on P7, but Immortality. Oh well.
There's some interesting things to take note of though. The golden cage spec is very dangerous if it's the first spec after activating an edict, because you'll have your prayer drop the instant the autoattack coincides with it, so you need Debilitate or other defensives to survive. P5 and P6 is very much taking it slowly with defensive camping, which becomes comical with how much time you have on your defensives. Can just spam Debilitate and have 100% uptime no problem. Very funny.
Also, that Ek-ZekKil at the end was totally cosmetic lol. Didn't do anything because it didn't last long enough. Forgot to use Combust to extend it.
Anyways, enjoy!

I will be doing a more in-depth commentary (unfortunately don't expect subtitles because it'll be unscripted) over how things work later on, but here's a primer for now. Mouse movement is handled solely through mouse keys on Windows. For those not initiated, mouse keys are the way to control the mouse using your keypad on a 100% size keyboard. 7, 8, 9, 4, 6, 1, 2, and 3 all move in the direction you'd expect, with 5 acting as left click. Holding down Ctrl, however, allows you to jump multiple pixels at a time when moving the cursor, and how much it jumps can be customized. Since it's always a set distance, I can work out how many times I need to tap the keys in order to move wherever I need to go.
Back to the kill itself, though. Again, I will go more in-depth later, but basically all the phases except for P5 are engineered to have as little RNG as possible. That being said, this kill was actually really bad lol. P1 and P2 were completely ruined because I missed a couple of ticks and I had to recover. That said, "bad adrenaline out of P1" was a misunderstanding because Asphyxiate was on cooldown lol. On P3, I think I missed a prayer flick when using Omnipower, but looking back that seemed a bit laggy so eh? On P4 font 1, I missed an Entangle because I used a cast one tick too late after using Anticipation, so that messed up the general flow. Thank god I got both the volcanic and corrupt golem. The rest of the kill went about as I'd expected, except P5 where I was desperately trying to reach for my SGB EoF, but I couldn't. Still got it lol.
But yeah, that's it for now. Stay tuned for that commentary later on! It most likely won't have any subtitles due to it being more freeflow and unscripted, though.
Anyways, hope you enjoy!

But make no mistake, there ARE legitimate upsides to using vestments at Telos. Getting constant adrenaline back from using Overpower on P1 and P2 is very very nice. Having the 120% adrenaline cap is also nice in general so you can build back up to ultimates more often, and on P5 there's likely nicer granite maul specs when having an extra 20% adrenaline available.
Chaos Roar also pulls its weight a ton. Ek-ZekKil spec is buffed insanely hard on P1 to the point you could delay it by a lot and have some hits carry over to P2, making that phase easier to hit. On P3, you can also follow it up with Slaughter to completely delete P3 without an Assault most of the time (not this time though). For P4, I use it with Hurricane followed up with an Overpower to instantly delete him and move onto P5. The one-two punch of Chaos Roar and vestments certainly pack a punch, although I would say Chaos Roar is much more useful than vestments if you had to pick one or the other as a priority.
Some stuff was a bit rough, though. Because I go way too fast on both P1 and P2, Slaughter CD is incredibly tricky to work around on P3. It just barely comes back on P2, so I have to delay Chaos Roar and Slaughter on P3 by one full ability... which I did not do so P3 probably lasted long enough to a point that's not ideal. I think I need to investigate Berserk P3 if I get that perfect P1 and P2, which is certainly doable but also locks out using an adrenaline renewal for font 3, which is what I currently use it for. Perhaps there needs more reworking there, like moving the font 3 stuff to font 2 instead and reverting back to the old font 3 stuff. P5 was also not quite as perfect as I'd like because I missed out on one DoT Assault hit because I used it late, but that's small potatoes.
Fun fact: this P1 requires ability queuing on because if you don't have it on, you cannot release a stall mid-GCD. Releasing your stalled Overpower on P1 by just clicking back on Telos makes him heal a bit because hit 2 will be delayed by one tick so your DPS window is longer than it needs to be. However, there does exist a better P1 that is not only faster, but also does not require ability queuing on. Video example: youtube.com/watch?v=SwVIyU8htn4
One important thing to keep in mind is that my ability tracker is the most wrong it has been in a long time. I have been using a very old bar setup for the tracker, so there is a ton of just flat-out wrong things. Check the pinned comment for more.
But that basically covers it. Hope you enjoy!

Anyways, the red EoF I have is completely useless. I was testing out Annihilation on P4, but it ended up bad so I just completely scrapped it. I also did not use Leng spec at crystals because it's likely more valuable to me to have some extra seconds of dragon battleaxe on P2/P3 than a marginal boost on P1, and I also feel like I kinda want extra adrenaline going into P2 not using it right before Berserk on P1. That may have been a dumb decision, but that's what I've rolled with here.
Quite a bit of rough patches this kill, but for now I'm not terribly interested in improving it due to my distaste for pool skipping with Melee. P1 can be phased immediately after the tail swipe, and I accidentally got stunned on P4 for the first tail swipe. Also did not get to have my Slaughter walked on P2, which normally ruins a lot of mind skip attempts but this time it was fine. It was still okay enough, but pool skips are so insanely inconsistent, I just give up lmao. Someone else can get the sub-1:50 dream.
But hey, at least Melee can join the pool skip club. That's neat! Anyways, hope you enjoy.

I'm very confident sub-3 is possible, but it requires a completely different approach and rotation. If I ever go too fast on P1, my Berserk won't come back in time so I'll most likely have to do some rudimentary pre-dummy strategies. If I go too fast on P2 or P3, Warp Time literally can't come back on time for the next phase so that also needs tinkering as well.
I'll probably go back to Kerapac later, for now I think I'll go demolish other bosses with Melee. But with that said, hope you enjoy!

Nothing seems to have changed since 1600% enrage. For the uninitiated, P7 starting from 1600% has Zamorak charge even faster, where Zamorak will start charging again after 5 ticks instead of 10-11 ticks after disrupting a symbol. That forces us to use Immortality + Intercept twice per P7 just to keep everyone alive. It can be pretty rough!
That being said, P1-P6 does seem to cap LP at some point. I think it's at 1760% or so, but it completely caps at 8m in total for the green bar with 750k LP (with the potential to overheal during gray shield). So I don't think it's going to constantly gain more and more LP from here on out, which will make future pushing MUCH easier barring some weird mechanic that may crop up later!
But that really covers everything here. Hope you enjoy!

We also changed up our edicts order from 4-6-2-1-3-5 to 4-2-6-1-3-5, moving 6 and 2 around so we could heal better on P6 as that is by far the most rough phase now. P7 is actually super easy in a 5 man now, we can nuke him insanely quickly no problem.

Between 500% and 1000%, there are a couple changes. At 750%, the demons you see when forcibly sent to Infernus will start running towards the portal so they'll most likely exit more quickly and start spawning in the main arena. At 1000%, both the chaos witch channeler can start with Omnipower and more importantly, Zamorak's red bar (which determines the strength of his typeless hits) does NOT reset when doing another symbol spec. Before 1000%, that would reset so he would basically do the same damage, but now because it never resets, you'll just take a ton of damage on all future cycles. This is where future pushing will be insanely rough, but our progress is going to massively slow down since we aren't going to grind as hard as we did for the past three days. We literally can't handle that anymore.
Also, we joked about getting it on our first try and we ACTUALLY got it. We're actually cracked.

Between yesterday and today, we figured out how to actually do the fight more properly. First off, using this image (https://i.imgur.com/HhJ3AVM.png), you want to activate the edicts in 4-2-1-3-5-6. You may be wondering why 4 is first because that would make the first part of the fight harder with defensives being much weaker, but we discovered that during the final phase (P7, or P2 if you want to call it that), all of the edicts are reversed so the highest becomes lowest, etc. So this makes surviving the final part much, MUCH easier. Secondly, the big typeless hit after the Melee slam during the final phase is doubly dangerous if you're next to someone else, so you should absolutely not be next to someone when DPSing.
Also, 500% actually makes a mechanic harder. When your group is forcibly sent to Infernus, you have to be on your symbols at the same time, otherwise none of you can leave. This makes it so you can't exactly escape that quickly immediately, so be prepared to tank that typeless that comes with it!
Aside from that, I may probably make a low-effort commentary guide going over how to kill Zamorak at 100%+. We'll just have to see, though.
In the meantime, hope you enjoy!

The dungeon takes quite a long time, especially with the final huge room of demons before the second boss. Need to figure out just exactly which mobs to kill.
Zamorak really isn't terribly hard until the final phase. The first part really just pierces through defensives pretty hard, so stuff like Resonance and Reflect and even Barricade are not as effective. But otherwise, mechanics feel fairly intuitive thus far.
The final phase is very interesting and is something we don't quite grasp just yet. You need to kill a symbol in the order of which they appear, which isn't too bad. The rough part is after that, where Zamorak just starts pummeling you with a ton of hard hitting attacks. I have some ideas on how to tackle that in the future, but for now it's, uh... kinda rough!
Still though, this is quite an enjoyable boss for now, but if it actually doesn't have a good flow for an easier 100%+ kill, then that's no good. We'll just have to see!
Anyways, enjoy.

Using:
- Wand of the Cywir elders with Planted Feet + Energizing 2 (bad perks, replace this with Precise 6 and have Planted Feet on a different wand)
- Virtus book with Precise 6
- Subjugation armor with Relentless 5 + Crackling 4, Biting 4, Impatient 4, Enhanced Devoted 4
- Merciless kiteshield with Turtling 4
- Scripture of Ful (can be replaced with a scrimshaw of elements)
- Essence of Finality with Guthix staff
- Essence of Finality with Statius's warhammer (can be substituted with a physical SWH)
- Igneous Kal-Zuk (can be substituted with a Kal-Mej)
- Abyssal whip + Enhanced Excalibur for Bladed Dive and SWH spec
- Spellbook Swap + Disruption Shield
- Fury of the Small + Conservation of Energy + Persistent Rage relics
NOT using:
- Fractured staff of Armadyl: losing this loses a ton of DPS not only with the spec, but also the ability to 4TAA.
- Elite tectonic: Higher block chance makes surviving the Melee swipes across the phases much easier, plus extra damage. Blocking Melee swipes on P5 also prevents getting pushed back which helps if you slightly screw up positioning.
- Affliction and better Magic dual wield: Prayer is a minor BiS upgrades over the previous tier that adds up, but even superior seasinger's set would be much better than Cywir wand and Virtus book.
- Arcane spirit shield: superior to T90 shields, you don't need the extra long Barricade and the damage reduction makes stacking bombs on P5 so much nicer, but requires malletops.
- Malletops perk from Ranch Out of Time: adds 3.6 extra seconds to Barricade. Not required for teamsplit but would be for scopulus/purple bomb P5 to reliably block everything. Without this, you require using merciless to get as much Barricade time as possible.
As for the kill itself, P1 and P3 and P4 were okay enough. There's a better P2 bring him down rotation where you just use Omnipower, Tsunami, a couple of Greater Concentrated Blasts, and Guthix staff and clears just fine enough while not needing to Sunshine + apot. P5 was pretty good though. Overall, a pretty good kill with these limitations.
I'm also experimenting with ingame sounds in videos now. I feel like sounds are gonna be more and more prevalent as time goes on with new bosses, so I may as well add those in now. I actually managed to figure out how to separate all my audio without relying on complex software, so this is the perfect excuse to start now!
But that's all for now. In the meantime, enjoy!

Worth pointing out that once again, I am insanely lazy and forgot to edit the ability tracker to a degree. I've started to keybind my gloves of passage and cinderbanes to make Havoc switching much easier, but I didn't edit the tracker to account for that. So gloves of passage is completely missing from it, while Entangle is supposed to be Havoc and the Havoc icon in the tracker is supposed to be cinderbanes. Spellbook Swap is also supposed to be dreadnips. Everything else should be good, though.
And with that, it's time to get back into some challenges. 200ks Telos in one inventory is going to start up very soon! Gonna scope it out and finally reclaim one of my presets I've been saving just for that occasion lol.

- A 2h Melee weapon (Laniakea's spear in this case) + Ingenuity of the Humans for Quake
- Spellbook Swap + Disruption Shield
- Fury of the Small + Conservation of Energy + Death Ward relics
NOT using:
- Essence of Finality with Statius's warhammer: by far the MOST important thing missing. Makes every single phase easier and faster. P5 in particular is insanely hampered with Quake instead of SWH spec.
- Affliction and praesul set: Minor BiS upgrades over their previous tier that adds up.
- Arcane spirit shield: superior to T90 shields, you don't need the extra long Barricade and the damage reduction makes stacking bombs on P5 so much nicer.
A full Vorago solo guide will come soon(tm), but in the meantime the main goal of P5 if you're starting off is to alternate between Sunshine and Barricade over and over to maximize your push and minimize Vorago's push. As long as you properly rotate those two things, you'll be golden with the nuances with push being more and more clear as you do solos.
As for the kill itself, P1 was garbage because I accidentally reset LP. If that didn't happen, this would have been an easy sub-12. Also some weird suboptimal ability rotations strangely enough. P3 is kinda okay but it just hurts without better gear so you may want to use some defensives to actually live. P5 had minor push problems but it was actually the best P5 I've had with this setup, so whatever.
But that's all I have for now. In the meantime, enjoy!

But anyway, this took 25 hours to complete. Animate Dead and cryptbloom mega carried which made the first three phases so much easier to learn. P4 and P5 were the nightmare phases and ended up harder than the mobile kill I did last year, because Magic required more inputs like autoattack + Detonate + some other ability and that's a bit more annoying than using Melee, even on mobile lol. This is also a rare occasion where I actually use Revolution - a momentous occasion to be sure! Much more feasible to use Revolution for Magic than Melee, for sure.
For those curious how I managed to bind my Guitar Hero controller to my keyboard and mouse, I simply ran it through Steam and mapped it to an Xbox 360 controller, then used the Desktop Configuration settings within Steam to simulate keyboard and mouse buttons. Kills are done on task so I have the both Slayer helmet and Genocidal perk active here for more damage.
This is also the first 1440p video I've ever uploaded and I'm very happy with the quality of it! All videos will be uploaded in 1440p from here on.
Anyways, hope you enjoy!

Kills are done on task so I have the both Slayer helmet and Genocidal perk active here for more damage. However, now with these new items, I actually may think you won't need to be on task anymore to get lightning skips. Jury's out on that but who knows.
Some parts of the ability tracker is wrong, since I forgot to replace the rebounder with the divine and it doesn't properly account for the new Abyssal Scourge. Sorry about that.
Anyways, hope you enjoy!

This actually didn't take too long to do, only around 11 hours to accomplish which is basically nothing compared to other grinds. However, I would actually still rank this as one of the hardest things you can do in the game right now, rivaling 4000% Arch-Glacor (for different reasons challenging different skills) and beating solo AoD in difficulty. The main thing that made this take way less time was me essentially getting in a ton of practice already thanks to my normal mode solos, and most mistakes aren't instant death and are absolutely recoverable which is not the case with 4000% Arch-Glacor or solo AoD.
For this kill, I took a pack yak, cryptbloom, and elite tectonic. Once I got to P9, I swapped out my yak for a nihil, banked my cryptbloom with the yak spec, and refreshed my supplies to prepare for P10/P11. Mammoth spec isn't as useful as that and I need to make P10/P11 a lot easier for myself instead of making P3 to P8 easier with mammoth spec.
There are three particularly painful parts to the fight: P5 (vitalis phase), P10, and P11. The rest aren't too bad and are more straightforward, but those three phases are the hardest part of getting a solo, should you want to go after this yourself.
On P5, vitalis spawns are incredibly annoying as they block movement, and to add insult to injury there's bleeds like on P2 which has disgusting synergy with vitalis blocking you. You have two options: somehow break free by using Barrage AoE from FSoA spec and run for your life, or take the easier but way more painful route by tanking every single smash. And if you take another smash when you're already bled from one, you get hit by a 10k hit. To consistently survive, you need to use a powerburst of vitality on the exact same tick the first bleed hit, then Freedom after the third smash and just keep eating back to 10k+ LP. It's incredibly dangerous, so be VERY careful.
P10 is by far the hardest part of the fight. Double teamsplits completely kill DPS, and you need to squeeze in as much damage as possible within what little time you have. The broken teamsplit, for those not in the know, is a bug-now-feature of Hard Mode Vorago where teamsplit specs that happen after reflect (so you'll also see this on scopulus and green bomb weeks) are bugged to instantly auto after the teamsplit explosion, instead of waiting a couple of seconds like normal. This causes you to take way more damage and push than normal, but I still go into teamsplit as much as possible, save for very fringe cases where you literally cannot do so because it's just too far and you have a Sunshine available, for example. The general priority should be Barricade after first teamsplit to Sunshine, and make sure you manage to get your Tsunami in before the first teamsplit repeats. Then FSoA spec and push Vorago as much as possible, then either Reprisal (if you have vitality available) and Omnipower or just Omnipower/Wild Magic out of the next teamsplit, then repeat with Barricade and Sunshine and all that all over again. Repeat that and you should hopefully get to P11.
P11 isn't SUPER bad and is noticeably easier than P10, but it's stressful because it's the final stretch and you'll tense up like mad. Before that though, you need to set it up properly. Just mauling P10 isn't enough, you need to do it right after reflect for the perfect attack rotation possible. Then that isn't enough, because you're also drained to 0% after mauling so building is super difficult. So you also have to use Shield Dome and maul inside it, breaking the cutscene that normally plays and lets you build on a dummy (which you need to place before you Shield Dome maul). Then you need to make sure you DPS hard to get a good headstart on push, otherwise you'll run out of room and just die. That's sure not stressful at all!
That covers all the big details though, and I've already gone on long enough. I know you're just here for the music names anyways :^]
Anyways, enjoy!

With this, though, all weeks have now been officially soloed!
Ended up being a very fast kill too! Had an amazing P1 and P5, can't really imagine TOO much faster phases there even though I missed Planted Feet on my Sunshine on P5 lol. P3 could have of course been faster, what with food taking away too much adrenaline so I couldn't use specific things, but that's okay. And P4 was a bit TOO hesitant due to me prioritizing killing vitalis before bleeds finish, but that's also okay.
Next up for Vorago stuff is "solo" Hard Mode, the final thing that has not been soloed in the game! Very excited to do some attempts on teamsplit week to give it a shot.
Anyways, enjoy!

P1 was a bit slow, could have been sped up by around like 5-10 seconds with better execution. But hey, doing both DPS and alt climbing is actually pretty tough. P3 was great but could still be improved upon with slight tweaks to allow for Greater Chain. P5 was also great, maybe a couple of seconds can be shaved off but for now it was pretty sick.
Anyways, enjoy!

For those not in the know: you can solo Vorago as long as you have an alt or someone else jump for you on P1, then you can solo the rest. For bleeds on P2, you solo clear them by using Surge, Surge, Freedom, Bladed Dive, and Surge in that order for the five bleeds. As for skipping bleeds entirely on P4, you just need to get Vorago caught on a fallen rock and both you AND your familiar cannot be attacking Vorago. You can prevent your familiar from attacking by simply spamming Cease.
This is always improvable, of course. P1 is much harder with Magic than Ranged for me due to needing to manage my alt and DPS at the same time and Magic needs to plant its feet more often which is not always an option if I want to live. P3 could have been slightly faster by finishing it before the third rock even happens. I've also had better P5s where I could maul before the second teamsplit as well, and I'm going to need to start getting a mainhand Planted Feet switch instead of just using Excalibur, so I can use Sunshine under Barricade earlier.
In fact, I'm pretty sure that you can maybe even get a sub-11 solo if you had a real player do the jumping and you 1-ticked P2 and P4 immediately after their timelocks lol.
Anyways, enjoy!

This kill still had some problems though. P2 and P4 were weird with missed Hurricanes within Time Warp which threw off the rotation a bit. 3:34 or lower could have easily been possible. And it's still slower than the best Magic kills by 20+ seconds, although I believe Melee is now equal to Ranged at Kerapac with very little RNG required.
Kills are done on task so I have the both Slayer helmet and Genocidal perk active here for more damage. Without that, lightning skips are much more unreliable.
Anyways, hope you enjoy!

This run wasn't great - you can easily speed this up by a good 5-10 minutes or so. I missed out on a lot of cycles allowing me to progress to the next wave and Zuk himself was quite slow. Not to mention, my wave clearing could absolutely be way faster eventually. Still though, happy I got this!
For those wondering about the challenges, here they are:
Challenge 1: Kill the six TzekHaar-Hurs with either Greater Chain + Omnipower or just spam dark bow.
Challenge 2: Use ingenuity of the humans for your stun, then burst with special attacks like dark bow or Guthix staff and thresholds. Repeat for your other stuns until he's dead.
Challenge 3: Just Barricade lol.
For Zuk's final phase, how you deal with it is you run around the conduit and lower its health. Every time you deplete a lifebar, Zuk will charge up a typeless hit (that can be blocked/reduced thankfully) that will hit for 10k+. You can block this with Resonance, Disruption Shield, and Barricade, and in a panic situation you can just use Reflect. Don't think you can use Debilitate, though.
Anyways that's really the big things for TzKal-Zuk. It's quite a lot of fun and I'd love to go back and optimize these runs. Knowing where to stand will make things so much nicer.
Enjoy!

After roughly 145 hours since launch, 4b+ in death costs, 50k+ hydrix bolts, 40-50k Vulnerability bombs, and god knows how much in other supplies, I have done it. The very first 4000% Arch-Glacor ever done, and before the "JMod deadline" of one month too! Very very happy with this kill.
Just like with the 3500%, getting back to back arms spec is literally instant death and surviving one requires insane RNG on so many levels it's effectively just a reset button that can happen at will. Thankfully, that is pretty rare so it's not all bad, on average you wouldn't really get it.
I was really struggling with kills before this, but when I immediately changed up my glacyte clearing rotation to include Shadow Tendrils earlier, I started getting far more consistent results which was really good.
We're not done yet though. There's still a lot of challenge runs with the Arch-Glacor to knock out! Stay tuned for all that.
Thank you all for the support and I hope you enjoy!

Speaking of Melee, you may notice me stalling Assault before releasing it on arms. This is deliberate because I use Havoc with gloves of passage equipped right before it. If you stall the ability after Havoc then release it with the next ability, you can make Havoc buff two abilities instead of just one. So here, I am able to buff 1-2 Assault hits (depending if I release with a spell, which I don't so I only get 1) and Hurricane for them to do extra damage to be slightly worth over a 188% instead of Havoc.
The next 500% enrage will be the worst it has ever been though. Arms are going to be so incredibly crazy to deal with and I'm still kinda slow with reacting with Magic...
Also, some parts of the ability tracker will be just completely wrong. Enfeeble is actually Smoke Cloud, the kalphite repriser is actually supposed to be the elysian spirit shield, spiritual prayer is supposed to be blessed flask, the Enhanced Excalibur is actually the Dark Silver of Leng (the T95 Melee offhand), and there's not much I can do about Melee abilities showing up properly. Sorry about that.
Anyways, enjoy!

This boss is really fun though. Ice pillars are the only dicey part, but Barricade can easily solve that issue. If Barricade is on cooldown, just use Immortality and maybe even consider using a powerburst of vitality when you know you're gonna step inside a pillar. Looking forward to eventually getting 4000% in the future!

The way I do Escape back into my Death's Swiftness has a lot of potential though, as it maximizes the amount of Death's Swiftness time you can get while also avoid almost all the damage. Finding ways to balance channels and Escape is going to be a bit of a challenge though.

On the whole this kill isn't terribly good with a lot of mistakes after P1, but this is my first sub-5 which is neat. That being said, I am running under Kerapac every time he yells "I'll tear right through you" because it completely nullifies that special attack. I expect that to be patched out soon though.
Apologies for no ability tracker, I closed it because I was testing out Magic stuff right before and it was inaccurate. Just forgot to turn it back on, oops...

With even more crazy RNG using this strategy (which is purely for streaks, not for speed kills), it is possible to save another 2.4 seconds in both P2 and P3, and adding all that with a potential ruby SGB can probably send a PB down to the low 2:40s. But breaking the sub-2:40 barrier with a dedicated speed setup is certainly feasible by simply blowing past P1 and dealing with tendrils on P2, plus getting a ruby SGB on P5.
Still, happy with this kill! Very pumped to get this time. Anyways, enjoy!

I have a new P5 rotation sub-1000% where if I already enter with 100% adrenaline, I'll just instantly use Natural Instinct to Greater Ricochet and then just immediately use Death's Swiftness and then do some carnage that way. It seems to work pretty well if golems don't destroy me, which is unfortunately a bit common but this time it wasn't all bad.
Unfortunately, I'm really feeling the lack of ruby bolts if I want to further improve my times. Getting a ruby SGB for P2 and/or P5 helps immensely, and unfortunately to get an even faster time I need to match the P5 entries in this video and the last video and follow that up with ruby SGB RNG. Not a very fun grind, but at least I'm doing these on my streaks which aren't too bad.
Anyways, enjoy!

You may notice a few new things. For one, I prephase with Greater Ricochet using my physical eldritch crossbow. This is because I get the initial 100% hit to carry over to the next phase since all the hitsplats are slow. Secondly, I'm using a stalker's ring over asylum surgeon's ring. While the crit buff on bows isn't that great for P1 since it's already timegated, it still has the highest strength bonus out of any ring and reaver's ring would normally put you at 97.8% accuracy after max black stone arrow stacks before fleeting boots or spec buffs. So reaver's ring would just need to be a switch if it's brought in.
Otherwise, basically everything went as well as it could have. P3 has improved from previous kills by actually using SGB spec in ECB. If I knew any better though, I would have skipped Debilitate on P5 and just did another dark bow for damage before Barricade to save more time, but alas.
Anyways, enjoy!

This was an extraordinarily lucky kill with a ruby SGB on P1 (leading to my best P1 ever), a pretty good P3 but not without some weird basic ability faults and accidentally turning on Deflect Missiles mid-ECB spec, and a spooned P5 that didn't deserve to be a 1 link with really suboptimal bomb travel distances and too lucky bolt procs.
Whatever, improvements will come later. So far this is a time I'm quite happy with on this week.

I didn't use my elysian spirit shield as much because I realized I didn't refill it and only had around 10 or so doses left, so I didn't use it as much as normal because otherwise I would have ran out of prayer.
