Britt Clayton Design 2025-07-10 | #255 A CRAZY Fluid Acrylic Pearl Pour That Needed a Save - Palette Knife to the Rescue! I used three different and complimentary colors of pearl base on this 30x40 canvas for a soft background to some bolder colors on top. Unfortunately I used all reactive paints so my colors disappeared into the pearls, but left me a very cool, mountain-shaped composition. My fix was to take regular tube paints and apply them using a palette knife, creating a mountain and a little valley. What do you think? Britt Clayton Design 2024-11-16 | #232 How to Use All PIGMENTS in a Textured Mixed Media Landscape - Easier than you Think! The colors for the sky were all from the ColourArte RezinArte line mixed with regular alcohol hand sanitizer and used like water colors. The mountains were created by mixing ColourArte Primary Elements pigments directly into extra heavy gloss gel and a palette knife was used to put them on the canvas. The moon was made from ColourArte Prizm Pour True Silver, some untinted house paint and Josanja varnish.
