Lyrics : [DAMIAN:] My momma used to tell me: "Baby girl, don't ever eat lunch on the John."
[JANIS, spoken:] Your mother called you "baby girl"?
[DAMIAN, spoken:] Singing, ha ha ha ha ha
[DAMIEN, sung:] So what if all the ducklings think you're ugly? It's because they've never seen a swan It takes all kind of people who need people So find people you can bear
We'll find your group, your herd, your flock Come take a walk and answer my small questionnaire Which I'll sing to you Ah ah
Where do you belong? Where do you belong? Where do you belong? Where do you belong?
You'll be judged on sight And made to fit So find a clique and stick with it Say, where do you belong?
[DAMIAN, spoken:] Let's take a walk around the cafeteria, shall we? I'll show you the world as I see it
[DAMIAN, sung:] Varsity jocks and JV jocks Will throw you in a locker if you say "Hello" The rich stoners hate the gangster whites Though they're all smoking the same oregano
Here's the sexually active band geeks I've got two words for you "Embouchure" and "Ew" And if you like blowing and fingering
[SEXUALLY ACTIVE BAND GEEKS:] This is the group for you!
[DAMIAN, spoken:] Back me up, show choir!
[SHOW CHOIR, sung:] Ah Where Do You Belong
[DAMIAN, sung:] Cady, where do you belong Where do you belong?
[STUDENTS:] Ba day a ba day a da
[DAMIAN:] We all get a box and that's where we go It's stifling but at least you know So, where do you belong?
[STUDENTS:] Ba da ba da daya Ba daya Ba daya Si daba daba souix be day beh
[DAMIAN:] There's girls who eat their feelings And girls who don't eat I like eating birthday cake around them Makes them crazy
[STUDENTS:] Debate team And dance team They like to compete
[DAMIAN:] And if they don't win Their parents ground them
[CADY, spoken:] Who's that?
[DAMIAN, sung:] Darling that's the mathletes
[CADY, spoken:] Cool!
[DAMIAN, sung:] Joining them is social suicide
[DAMIAN, STUDENTS:] It's all college applications And Doctor Who quotations
[DAMIAN:] They wear their awkwardness with stubborn pride
[DAMIAN, spoken:] This is my dance break
[STUDENTS, sung:] Where do you belong Where do you belong Where do you belong Where do you belong
[DAMIAN:] You'll be judged on sight, voted in or out 'Cause that's what high school's all about
[STUDENTS:] Where do you belong
[DAMIAN:] But who is at this table? Why it's Janis!
[JANIS:] And Damian too!
[STUDENTS:] Oh
[DAMIAN, JANIS:] We're not exactly joiners But we'll be good friends to you And our friendship means you can skip
[JANIS:] The geeks and the freaks and the peaking too soon
[DAMIAN:] The strivers and survivors just waiting for June The Junior achievers
[JANIS:] The Christian Believers
[DAMIAN:] The tall flowering wallflowers, fending off skeevers
[DAMIAN, JANIS:] Forget this fuss And stall with us Just come to lunch And sit with us
[CADY:] Okay?!
[JANIS, spoken:] Yay
[DAMIAN, sung:] Yes!
[JANIS, sung:] Sit with us!
[DAMIAN:] Here's where you belong!
[DAMIAN:] Here's where you belong!
[JANIS and STUDENTS:] Belong!
[STUDENTS:] Ong! Ong!
[STUDENTS (ALL):] Here's where you belong! Here's where you belong! Here's where you belong! Here's where you belong!
[DAMIAN:] You need protection with pizazz And helping hands
[STUDENTS:] That also jazz!
[DAMIAN:] Stay Here
[JANIS and STUDENTS:] Here's where you belong Stay here
[DAMIAN:] Where you belong
[CADY:] Okay, I'm staying!
[DAMIAN, spoken:] Yes
[STUDENTS:] Here's where you belong!
[STUDENTS:] Long Long
[DAMIAN, JANIS:] Hey Cady, this is where you fit Hey Cady, this is where you sit
[STUDENTS:] Here's where you belong!

OUT HERE ONE MY OWN was written by sibling songwriting duo Michael (composer) and Leslie (lyricist) Gore for the 1980 musical film Fame. It was performed in the movie by Irene Cara.
This piano accompaniment is in Eb and for tenor voice (or an alto), the top note of this version is an A.
Lyrics: Sometimes I wonder where I've been, Who I am, Do I fit in. Make believein' is hard alone, Out here on my own.
We're always provin' who we are, Always reachin' For that risin' star To guide me far And shine me home, Out here on my own.
When I'm down and feelin' blue, I close my eyes so I can be with you. Oh, baby be strong for me, Baby belong to me. Help me through. Help me need you.
Until the morning sun appears Making light Of all my fears, I dry the tears I've never shown, Out here on my own.
But when I'm down and feelin' blue, I close my eyes so I can be with you. Oh, baby be strong for me, Baby, belong to me. Help me through. Help me need you.
Sometimes I wonder where I've been, Who I am, Do I fit in. I may not win, But I can't be thrown, Out here on my own,

These Broadway and West End accompaniments have been specifically performed to match the tempos of the original (cast) recordings where possible. These karaoke style tracks have been created to give the audition performer the sound of what is likely within an audition environment where often we are not faced with a full orchestra but simply a pianist. Therefore the songs can sound very different to the fully orchestrated version.
The tracks are designed to be used either in performance or as practice for auditions. You are more than welcome to use the track to create your own YouTube cover of the song. If you could put a link back to this video in your description that would be amazing of you. Popular is a song created by Stephen Schwartz for his 2003 musical Wicked based on the novel of the same name by Gregory Maguire.
This accompaniment has been done to replicate the tempos of the original cast recording by Kristin Chenoweth (and Idina Menzel) whilst the key has been altered to give a high note of F#.
Lyrics : [GALINDA:] Whenever I see someone less fortunate than I And let's face it, who isn't less fortunate than I? My tender heart tends to start to bleed And when someone needs a makeover I simply have to take over! I know, I know exactly what they need!
And even in your case Though it's the toughest case I've yet to face Don't worry, I'm determined to succeed! Follow my lead And yes indeed, you will be
Popular! You're gonna be popular! I'll teach you the proper poise When you talk to boys Little ways to flirt and flounce Ooh! I'll show you what shoes to wear! How to fix your hair! Everything that really counts to be
Popular! I'll help you be popular! You'll hang with the right cohorts You'll be good at sports Know the slang you've got to know So let's start 'Cause you've got an awfully long way to go!
Don't be offended by my frank analysis Think of it as personality dialysis Now that I've chosen to become a Pal, a sister and advisor There's nobody wiser! Not when it comes to
Popular! I know about popular And with an assist from me To be who you'll be Instead of dreary who you were Well, are There's nothing that can stop you From becoming popu-ler... lar
La la, la la! We're gonna make you pop-you-lar!
When I see depressing creatures With unprepossessing features I remind them on their own behalf To think of Celebrated heads of state Or specially great communicators! Did they have brains or knowledge? Don't make me laugh!
They were popular! Please! It's all about popular It's not about aptitude It's the way you're viewed So it's very shrewd to be Very very popular Like me!
[GALINDA: Spoken] Why, Miss Elphaba, look at you. You're beautiful! [ELPHABA: Spoken] I, I have to go [GALINDA: Spoken] You're welcome
[Sung:] And though you protest Your disinterest I know clandestinely You're gonna grin and bear it! Your new found popularity! Aah!
La la, la la! You'll be popular! Just not quite as popular as me! ----

SILENT NIGHT is a Christmas Carol (originally written in German as Stille Nacht). The music was composed by Franz Gruber (1878-1863) with words by Joseph Mohr (1792-1848), which was translated by John Freeman Young (1820-1885).
Words : Silent night, holy night! All is calm, all is bright. Round yon Virgin, Mother and Child. Holy infant so tender and mild, Sleep in heavenly peace, Sleep in heavenly peace
Silent night, holy night! Shepherds quake at the sight. Glories stream from heaven afar Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia, Christ the Savior is born! Christ the Savior is born
Silent night, holy night! Son of God love's pure light. BEYOND MY WILDEST DREAMS is a song created for the Broadway Musical version of Disney's The Little Mermaid. Although the original movie songs for The Little Mermaid were written by Alan Menken with lyrics by Howard Ashman sadly by the time the Broadway version was written Howard was no longer with us so the lyrics for this 'new' song were created by Glenn Slater.
It is sung by Ariel in the musical (with interjections from Maids who I have removed as per the songbook score that now exists). This is the songbook version therefore the lyrics below reflect its solo nature.
Lyrics (Solo songbook version) : [ARIEL;] Oh! Just look! It's like I'm in a storybook! Oh! It's bliss! I dreamed that it would be Somewhat- But not Like this!
Look over there! Oh my god! How very odd! And what might they be? Something splendid, maybe!
Look over here! Could you bust? Isn't it just Bedazzling, dazing Utterly amazing! Gazing 'round, it's like, to die! Just seeing it feels so good I'd scream if I only could!
I'd hoped and wished And wanted so to be here Wished and prayed And planned it to a "t" Prayed and wow! Just look - it's really me here! Walking around, strange as it seems Somewhere beyond my wildest dreams!
I'd hoped and wished And wondered what I'd do here Wished and prayed And pictured what I'd see Prayed and wow! My prayers are coming true here! Look at it all, look how it gleams! Lovely beyond my wildest dreams...
Look - it's him! So handsome and refined and slim Sweet, sincere Magnificent from head to toe And oh...
I'd hoped and wished My life would feel enchanted! Wished and prayed The fates would hear my plea Prayed and wow! My prayers are more than granted!
Look at it all, hall after hall Perfect as you could please here! Marvels galore, and even more Gee, did I mention he's here? And if - who knows? - all of it goes Past even these extremes Just look at me and you will see Someone beyond her wildest dreams! ---

SO ANYWAY is a song with music by Tom Kitt and words by Brian Yorkey from their musical Next To Normal. The original cast recording was sung by Alice Ripley and this track has been designed to match tempo and key of the original.
Lyrics : [Diana:] So anyway, I'm leaving I thought you'd like to know You're faithful, come what may But clearly, I can't stay We'd both go mad that way So here I go
And anyway, I'm leaving I guess that you can see I'll try this on my own A life I've never known I'll face the dread alone But I'll be free
With you always beside me to catch me when I fall I'd never get to know the feel of solid ground at all With you always believing that we can still come through It makes me feel the fool to know that it's not true
What doctors call dysfunction we tried to call romance And true, it's quite a trick to tell the dancers from the dance But rather than let chance take me, I'll take a chance
I'll take a chance on leaving It's that, or stay and die I loved you once, and though You love me still, I know It's time for me to fly
I loved you once, and though I love you still, I know It's time for me to go And so, goodbye ---

The song I Paint was written by Ingrid Michaelson for the musical The Notebook. The character of Younger Allie sings this short motif. The piano accompaniment has been made to match the tempo and key of the original and I have played it by ear as when the track was music sheet music was not yet available for this song.
I have produced the sheet music for this version (which was played by ear) which is available now from here : musicnotes.com/l/T3HKw
Lyrics : [YOUNGER NOAH:] Did you paint this?
[YOUNGER ALLIE:] Yes I like to pretend that the world isn't what it is 'Cause what it is is mean and cruel, and bigger Than anything I could ever imagine
So yes I make up these worlds in my head Put them down on paper with these hands of mine I find that time slows down when I do
And when I close my eyes I see the truth come spilling over me And when I hold my hands over my ears I hear sweet melodies I feel like I am safe When I run away from the real world
So yes I paint
Well... Aren't you gonna say anything?

The song IF THIS IS LOVE was written by Ingrid Michaelson for the musical The Notebook and is sung by the character of Younger Allie. This piano accompaniment matches tempo and key with the original cast recording performed by Jordan Tyson. You can hear that recording here : youtube.com/watch?v=yHHwFmih-3w
Lyrics : I've waited every day to feel the way I feel Knots in my stomach, the kind that never heal Butterflies that fly in me and never seem to go away Sick to my stomach when I think about his face But in a good way, in a way I can't replace No one can stop this, it's almost like a hurricane
If this is love, I'm not ready If this is love, why am I so unsteady? If this is love, why did no one tell me The pain that I would feel? If this is love, maybe I'm ready How do I know, I'm in my head again If this is love, I think I'm in it If this is, if this is, if this is love
The world around me says no but I say yes I want to scream it out instead it's stuck inside my chest It's like a bird in a rage, in a cage And nobody wants to free me
If this is love, I'm not ready If this is love, why am I so unsteady? If this is love, why did no one tell me The pain that I would feel? If this is love, maybe I'm ready How do I know, I'm in my head again If this is love, I think I'm in it If this is, if this is, if this is love
I think I'm in it And in between it And upside down If this is love
If this is love This is what all the songs are about
This is why I have to break out This is what I can't live without I am ready now I am ready for love! --- British pianist and arranger Tim J. Spencer has created, in The Accompanist, a collection of Piano Accompaniments of Musical Theatre and Popular Music songs.

As this is quite complex, with an a capella section at the front for the Robert character as this version is matched to the tempo of the original cast recording featuring Kelli O'Hara and Steven Pasquale, I have made a chordal accompanient to keep in tempo of the original.
There is a bell note (for two counts of four) then the vocal lead starts (I've left a little guide for the start of it). If you prefer to do the section a capella as designed you can pause after the bell note (or just jump) to the Main Song chapter which hits as the song normal does where the music kicks in. (I hope this makes sense). Also you can mute the video whilst it plays for the first section as the lyrics will come up at the correct times so you may be able to keep in place that way.
Bell note : 0:00 A capella section : 0:06 (with basic accompaniment) Main Song : 1:08
The song was written by Jason Robert Brown and the musical The Bridges of Madison County features a book from Marsha Norman.
I've tried to match tempos and the key is the same as the original cast recording (which you can listen to here youtube.com/watch?v=Z-vi6j-EuAE).

Lyrics : [ROBERT] For the first time in my life I am not outside the moment With a camera in between me and the world I think I know
For the first time in my life I am somehow part of something You surround me, you connect me And I think I can't let go
For the first time in my life You have opened up a channel There is nothing to contain us We are joined, and we are free For the first time in my life I am risking something precious I am asking you, Francesca: Come with me
I can't tell you I know what the future will be Who knows anything? I just look at those eyes; you've got so much to see Let me show you. There's Crowds and camels and hillsides to climb All I know is, in all of the time From man's first breath To God's last warning
You and I are just one second Spinning by in one split-second You and I have just one second And a million miles to go
I don't need to be rich, I don't need something new
[FRANCESCA] I don't want to go back to a world without this
[ROBERT] All I need, all I've needed my whole life was you
[FRANCESCA] If I left this behind…
[ROBERT] Please just look at me: You were born with a wanderer's soul This is how you begin to be whole The stars keep burning Worlds keep turning
[ROBERT and FRANCESCA] And you and I are just one second Spinning by in just one second You and I have just one second
[ROBERT] And a million miles to go [FRANCESCA] Found and lost Torn in half Before and after you
[ROBERT] Come with me
[FRANCESCA] Open heart Open door Before and after you
[ROBERT] Come with me
[FRANCESCA] How do I go? Tell me How do I go? How do I go with you? How do I pack a bag Close a door Turn a key Walk away? Look at where I am And who I am And tell me Is there something I don't know? How do I go? How can I go With you?
[ROBERT] I can't tell you I know what the answer will be It's impossible But this thing, this is bigger than what we can see This is destiny We are tied, we are locked, we are bound; This will not be reversed or unwound Whatever fate the stars are weaving We're not breaking I'm not leaving And you and I are just one second Spinning by in just one second You and I have just one second…
[FRANCESCA] And a million miles to go
[ROBERT] All my life I have been falling…
[FRANCESCA] All my life I have been falling…
[ROBERT] All my life I have been falling into…
[FRANCESCA] All my life I have been falling…
[ROBERT] You and I
[ROBERT & FRANCESCA] Have just one second
[ROBERT] And a million miles to go
[FRANCESCA] Come with me ---
British pianist and arranger Tim J. Spencer has created, in The Accompanist, a collection of Piano Accompaniments of Musical Theatre and Popular Music songs.

My Days is a musical with music and lyrics by Ingrid Michaelson and a book by Bekah Brunstetter which opened on Broadway on March 24th 2024.
This piano accompaniment follows the tempo from the original Brodawy recording featuring Joy Woods who plays 'Middle Allie'. You can hear her version here youtube.com/watch?v=KfRBLtBa3gk
Lyrics : Where am I? Where am I going? Is it somewhere that I want to go? And when I get there Is that where happy is? Or is it somewhere I already know?
Sometimes I feel Like I cry without a noise Sometimes I feel Like somebody chose my choice
I have to run away I have to sit and stay I wanna live a life Where I'm allowed to say That I'm proud of the way that I spent My days
I can feel Something growing It is small but it's shifting the ground When I was younger, I could hear it But it's back It's my sound
Sometimes I feel Like I lost my only voice But then I realized Only I can choose my choice
I have to run away I have to sit and stay I wanna live a life Where I'm allowed to say That I'm proud of the way that I spent My days
These days All we ever really get are Days to dream And days to lose I just need to choose my time
I have to run away I have to stay I'm gonna live a life Where I am proud to say That I followed my joy I followed my heart I lived this one wild life, I ripped it apart I pushed through the corners with no apologies
And finally I can say I know the way I'll say that I love the way that I spent My days

I Dreamed A Dream is a song from the musical Les Miserables with music by Claude-Michel Schoenberg and lyrics by Alain Boublil (French) and Herbert Kretzmer (English).
This recording and tempos are based on the original 1985 London cast recording.
Lyrics : There was a time when men were kind, When their voices were soft And their words inviting. There was a time when love was blind And the world was a song And the song was exciting. There was a time Then it all went wrong.
I dreamed a dream in time gone by When hope was high and life worth living I dreamed that love would never die I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid And dreams were made and used and wasted There was no ransom to be paid No song unsung, no wine untasted
But the tigers come at night With their voices soft as thunder As they tear your hope apart As they turn your dream to shame
He slept a summer by my side He filled my days with endless wonder He took my childhood in his stride But he was gone when autumn came
And still I dream he'll come to me That we will live the years together But there are dreams that cannot be And there are storms we cannot weather
I had a dream my life would be So different from this hell I'm living So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed the dream I dreamed

The song Hopelessly Devoted To You, originally recorded by Olivia Newton-John for the movie Grease, was written by John Farrar.
This version replicates the tempo of that original recording but has been set up four semitones so as to work for a tenor range. Top note is now an A (rather than the original key's F).
Lyrics : Guess mine is not the first heart broken My eyes are not the first to cry I'm not the first to know There's just no getting over you
I know I'm just a fool who's willing To sit around and wait for you But baby, can't you see there's nothing else for me to do? I'm hopelessly devoted to you
But now there's nowhere to hide Since you pushed my love aside I'm out of my head Hopelessly devoted to you
Hopelessly devoted to you Hopelessly devoted to you
My head is sayin', "Fool, forget him" My heart is sayin', "Don't let go Hold on to the end", that's what I intend to do I'm hopelessly devoted to you
But now there's no way to hide Since you pushed my love aside I'm outta my head Hopelessly devoted to you

This is a piano accompaniment of the song For Her taken from the 2024 Broadway musical The Great Gatsby. Words and Music are by Jason Howland and Nathan Tysen and the show's book is by Kait Kerrigan. The version is to replicate the Broadway version of the song first performed by Jeremy Jordan. This has been done by ear as there is no available sheet music when I first produced this video.
Lyrics (my transcription) I’ve done it all for her Put up each wall for her All the plans I laid All the options weighed Every price I paid for her
I went to war for her Braved foreign shore for her Bottled up the guilt Then I went full tilt Rivaled Vanderbilt for her
Daisy You fight and return Only to learn that you Have lost her
Daisy My waiting is through If you bring her to me I’ll be indebted to you
[Dialogue section]
[Sung] I’ve come so far for her The finest caviar for her Everything I own Every party thrown All the nights alone for her
Daisy She slipped through my hands No one understands How she has changed me
Daisy I need one more chance If you bring her to me I will know at a glance
[Dialogue section]
[sung] Do this good turn for me And I can guarantee When all is done I’ll be Forever in your debt
This time I won’t let go Help me to make it so Try as one might, you know that There is no forgetting her!
Daisy You fight and return Only to learn That you have lost her
Oh Daisy I need one more chance Am I chasing a dream? I will know at a glance
[Dialogue section]
[sung] I’ve done it all for her Put up each wall for her But the status quo Just one piece to go
Now she has to know It’s all for her!

This is a piano accompaniment of the song What Ifs from the 2024 musical movie of MEAN GIRLS. The song is in Bb Major, as per the original recording which features Angourie Rice as Cady Herron. The song was written by Jeff Richmond, Nell Benjamin and Reneé Rapp.
Lyrics; CADY I used to think I would spend every second I have Right where my story began I'd be happy here Every day, month, year of my life But now I'm wishing for whatever comes after goodbye On every star in the sky I'm dreaming of what I could become
This is where home will be As long as my lungs can breathe But my heart is dying to leave 'Cause I know there's more to me
I don't wanna live with "What ifs", "Might haves" "Could havе been if I had, only tried not held back" Oh no, that's not a part of my plan That's not the mе that I That's not the me that I am
This time there's no looking back (No looking back) I'm crossing things off my list (Crossing things off my list) Don't wanna run out of time before I wake up and find There was a life that I missed (Ooh) My limit doesn't exist
I don't wanna live with "What ifs", "Might haves" "Could have been if I had, only tried not held back" Oh no, that's not a part of my plan That's not the me that I am No "What ifs", regrets Where my strengths and weakness I would hide my feelings Oh no, that's not a part of my plan That's not the me that I am

The song BRING HIM HOME was written by Claude-Michel Schönberg, Alain Boublil & Herbert Kretzmer.
Lyrics : (Valjean) God on high Hear my prayer In my need You have always been there
He is young He's afraid Let him rest Heaven blessed Bring him home Bring him home Bring him home.
He's like the son I might have known If God had granted me a son.
The summers die One by one How soon they fly On and on And I am old And will be gone.
Bring him peace Bring him joy He is young He is only a boy
You can take You can give Let him be Let him live If I die Let me die Let him live Bring him home Bring him home Bring him home

Another Suitcase in Another Hall is a song from the musical Evita with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Webber first produced in 1978.
Lyrics : I don't expect my love affairs to last for long Never fool myself that my dreams will come true Being used to trouble Ianticipate it But all the same I hate it, wouldn't you
So what happens now (Another suitcase in another hall) So what happens now (Take your picture off another wall) Where am I going to (You'll get by you always have before) Where am I going to
Time and time again I've said that I don't care That I'm immune to gloom, that I'm hard through and through But every time it matters all my words desert me So anyone can hurt me and they do
So what happens now (Another suitcase in another hall) So what happens now (Take your picture off another wall) Where am I going to (You'll get by you always have before) Where am I going to
Call in three months time and I'll be fine I know Well maybe not that fine but I'll survive anyhow I won't recall the names and places of the sad occasion But that's no consolation here and now
So what happens now (Another suitcase in another hall) So what happens now (Take your picture off another wall) Where am I going to (You'll get by you always have before) Where am I going to (Don't ask anymore)
The Accompanist has created a collection of Piano Accompaniments of Musical Theatre and Popular music songs.
I'm creating a playlist on my channel page of covers using The Accompanist's tracks so let me know if you do a cover using it and I'll add it to this channel's covers playlist.

The lyrics of Amazing Grace were written by John Newton whilst the music is an Amercian folk hymn.
Lyrics : Amazing Grace how sweet the sound, That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found; Was blind, but now I see.
‘Twas grace that taught my heart to fear, And grace my fears relieved; How precious did that grace appear The hour I first believed!
Through many dangers, toils and snares, I have already come; ‘Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far, And grace will lead me home.
The Lord has promised good to me, His Word my hope secures; He will my Shield and Portion be, As long as life endures.

Karaoke Lyrics Onscreen (or turn on CC/Subtitles).
The song Poor, Unsuccessful and Fat is written by William Finn.
In this version I have used the 'Songbook' version which works mainly as a solo, this doesn't have the ending from the original recording where it breaks into various people, the design of this track is that it can be used in a solo environment.
Lyrics : [RICHARD] Poor, unsuccessful and fat Who would’ve thought I would end like that? Surely, in no time, you’ll be back to normalIn your evening formal I’ll be poor, unsuccessful Poor, unsuccessful and fat And getting older
Plus, have you noticed I sweat? I have a list of things I regret Don’t tell this story to little children Cause you're gonna scare them How I’m poor, unsuccessful Poor, unsuccessful and fat
And getting older, getting greyer Stop me if you’ve heard this before Cause if you’ve heard this before Hell, it’s just more of the same Help meI’m a player Who’ll never make it I won’t make, I won’t make it[
GORDON] No, no, no, no, no, no!
[RICHARD] Once I was practically thin Now I can eat like I’m Rin Tin Tin Soon you’ll be back home A success in training I’ll be here complaining That I’m poor, unsuccessful Poor, unsuccessful and fat And getting older I'm getting older I'm getting older I'm getting old.

The song Somewhere, as featured in the musical West Side Story, was written by Leonard Bernstein (Music) and Stephen Sondheim (Lyrics). This transcription of the song is based on the original 1950s film version.
Lyrics : There's a place for us, Somewhere a place for us. Peace and quiet and open air Wait for us, somewhere.
There's a time for us, Some day a time for us, Time together with time to spare, Time to learn, time to care.
Some day, Somewhere, We'll find a new way of living, We'll find a way of forgiving. Somewhere, Somewhere . . .
There's a place for us, A time and place for us. Hold my hand and we're halfway there. Hold my hand and I'll take you there Somehow, Some day, Somewhere! ---

(Or turn on CC/Subtitles)
Memory is a song from the musical CATS whose music was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with text from Trevor Nunn after T.S. Eliot.
Lyrics : Midnight, not a sound from the pavement Has the moon lost her memory? She is smiling alone In the lamplight, the withered leaves collect at my feet And the wind begins to moan
Memory, all alone in the moonlight I can smile at the old days I was beautiful then I remember the time I knew what happiness was Let the memory live again
Every street lamp seems to beat A fatalistic warning Someone mutters and the street lamp gutters And soon it will be morning
Daylight, I must wait for the sunrise I must think of a new life And I mustn't give in When the dawn comes, tonight will be a memory too And a new day will begin
[Instrumental]
Burnt out ends of smoky days The stale, cold smell of morning A street lamp dies, another night is over Another day is dawning
Touch me, it's so easy to leave me All alone with the memory Of my days in the sun If you touch me, you'll understand what happiness is Look, a new day has begun

Castle On A Cloud is a song written for the musical Les Miserables with music by Claude-Michel Schonberg and lyrics by Herbert Kretmer, Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel.
Lyrics : [Young Cosette] There is a castle on a cloud I like to go there in my sleep Aren't any floors for me to sweep Not in my castle on a cloud
There is a room that's full of toys There are a hundred boys and girls Nobody shouts or talks too loud Not in my castle on a cloud
There is a lady all in white Holds me and sings a lullaby She's nice to see and she's soft to touch She says "Cosette, I love you very much."
I know a place where no one's lost I know a place where no one cries Crying at all is not allowed Not in my castle on a cloud

I Don't Need A Roof is a song written by Andrew Lippa for the 2013 musical Big Fish.
This accompaniment is based on the original cast recording by Kate Baldwin which you can hear here : youtube.com/watch?v=5l_Agmx69jg&ab_channel=KateBaldwin-Topic. If you are following the available sheet music I have repeated the one bar intro, as this is the way the recording had it.
Lyric : In your face I see a lifetime. In this place I feel at ease. Wallpaper peeling, paint wearing thin. Here's where I end and begin
I don't need a roof to say I'm covered I don't need a roof to know I'm home There could be a single shingle-dangling overhead I don't need a roof to make my bed
Close your eyes, I'm still beside you. No goodbyes needed today Hear what the rain says, Know what it knows After the rain something grows
I don't need a roof to say I love you I don't need a roof to call you mine I don't need adventure in some far away frontier I don't need a roof to feel you near
All I need is you and you forever All I feel is true and absolute I don't need a legal deed to help me play my part I don't need a roof to hold my heart
Stay with me Stay with me

Karaoke lyrics onscreen (or turn on CC/Subtitles).
Make Them Hear You is a song from the musical Ragtime with music by Stephen Flaherty and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens.
This recording is to match the tempos of the original cast recording featuring the voice of Brian Stokes Mitchell.
Lyrics : Go out and tell our story Let it echo far and wide Make them hear you Make them hear you
How Justice was our battle And how Justice was denied Make them hear you Make them hear you
And say to those who blame us For the way we chose to fight, That sometimes there are battles That are more than black or white
And I could not put down my sword When Justice was my right Make them hear you
Go out and tell our story to your daughters and your sons Make them hear you Make them hear you
And tell them, "In our struggle, We were not the only ones" Make them hear you Make them hear you
Your sword could be a sermon Or the power of the pen Teach every child to raise his voice And then my brothers, then
Will justice be demanded by ten million riteous men Make them hear you- When they hear you, I'll be near you Again

The Accompanist has created a collection of Piano Accompaniments of Musical Theatre and Popular music songs.
I'm creating a playlist on my channel page of covers using The Accompanist's tracks so let me know if you do a cover using it and I'll add it to this channel's covers playlist.

Maybe is a song from the musical Annie which has music written by Charles Strouse and lyrics by Martin Charnin.
This is a piano accompaniment based on the original film version in Bb Major.
Lyrics : [Annie] Maybe far away Or maybe real nearby He may be pouring her coffee She may be straightning his tie Maybe in a house All hidden by a hill She's sitting playing piano He's sitting paying a bill
Betcha they're young Betcha they're smart Bet they collect things Like ashtrays, and art Betcha they're good Why shouldn't they be? Their one mistake Was giving up me
So maybe now it's time And maybe when I wake They'll be there calling me 'Baby' Maybe
Betcha he reads Betcha she sews Maybe she's made me A closet of clothes Maybe they're strict As straight as a line Don't really care As long as they're mine
So maybe now this prayer's The last one of it's kind Won't you please come get your 'Baby' [Annie and Orphans] Maybe

Karaoke Lyrics onscreen (or turn on CC/Subtitles).
My Favorite Things is a song with lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II and music by Richard Rodgers from the musical The Sound Of Music.
This version is played in Eb Minor and follows the original cast recording. It is two statements of the same lyrics, the second time is a deal quicker.
Lyrics : Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens Brown paper packages tied up with strings These are a few of my favorite things
Cream-colored ponies and crisp apple strudels Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings These are a few of my favorite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes Silver-white winters that melt into springs These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites When the bee stings When I'm feeling sad I simply remember my favorite things And then I don't feel so bad
[Repeat all]

0:00 Introduction 0:42 Short lead in (2 bars) 0:50 It won't be easy...
Don't Cry For Me Argentina is a song from the musical Evita, written by Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber. The tempo is based on the Original London Cast recording version which featured the voice of Julie Covington.
The top note in this version is Gb.
Lyrics : It won't be easy, you'll think it strange When I try to explain how I feel That I still need your love after all that I've done You won't believe me, all you will see is a girl you once knew Although she's dressed up to the nines At sixes and sevens with you
I had to let it happen, I had to change Couldn't stay all my life down at heel Looking out of the window, staying out of the sun So I chose freedom, running around trying everything new But nothing impressed me at all I never expected it to
Don't cry for me, Argentina The truth is, I never left you All through my wild days, my mad existence I kept my promise Don't keep your distance
And as for fortune, and as for fame I never invited them in Though it seemed to the world they were all I desired They are illusions, they're not the solutions they promised to be The answer was here all the time I love you, and hope you love me
Don't cry for me, Argentina
Don't cry for me, Argentina The truth is, I never left you All through my wild days, my mad existence I kept my promise Don't keep your distance
Have I said too much? There's nothing more I can think of to say to you But all you have to do is look at me to know That every word is true

Send in the Clowns is a song written by Stephen Sondheim for his musical A Little Night Music. This piano accompaniment is as per the tempos of the legendary performance given by Judi Dench in the Hey Mr. Producer concert in 1998. You can see that performance here : youtube.com/watch?v=yE3dLzIYKs8&ab_channel=pandorasbox01
It is almost identical to the score version except after the initial solo intro (usually on clarinet) the score only has one bar main intro whereas the concert had two bars before the first lyric 'Isn't it rich?...',
Lyrics : Isn't it rich, aren't we a pair Me here at last on the ground, you in mid-air Send in the clowns
Isn't it bliss, don't you approve One who keeps tearing around, one who can't move But where are the clowns? Send in the clowns.
Just when I stopped opening doors Finally finding the one that I wanted was yours Making my entrance again with my usual flair Sure of my lines no one is there
Don't you love farce? My fault, I fear. I thought that you'd want what I want. Sorry, my dear. But where are the clowns? Send in the clowns Don't bother they're here.
[Dialogue section]
Isn't it rich? isn't it queer? Losing my timing this late in my career? And where are the clowns? There ought to be clowns. Well maybe next year...

The Spark Of Creation is a song from the musical Children Of Eden with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz.
This version is based on the original cast recording in Db major.
Lyrics EVE Beyond, beyond It sounds full of wind and mist, doesn't it? It means other things exsist, doesn't it? Beyond, beyond It says "Adam leave your list", doesn't it? Father, why does my head feel this joy this dread since the moment I said Beyond!
I've got a itching on the tips of my fingers I've got a burning in the back of my brain I've got a hunger burning inside cannot be denied I've got feeling that the Father who made us When he was kindling the pulse in my veins He left a tiny spark of that fire smoldering inside
The spark of creation, is flickering within me The spark of creation, is blazing in my blood A bit of the fire that lit up the stars And brought life into the mud. The first inspiration, the spark creation
I see a mountain and I want to climb it I see a river and I want to leave shore Where there was nothing let there be something, something made by me. There's things waiting for me to invent them There's worlds waiting for me to explore I am an echo of the eternal cry of Let there be!
The spark of creation, burning bright within me The spark of creation won't let me rest at all Until I discover or build or uncover A thing that I can call my celebration Of the spark creation
The spark of creation, may it burn forever The spark of creation, I am a keeper of the flame We think all we want is a lifetime of leisure Each perfect day the same Endless vacation Well that's alright if you're a kind of crustacean But when you're born with an imagination Sooner of later you're feeling the fire getting hotter and higher The spark of creation.

Karaoke lyrics onscreen (or turn on CC/Subtitles).
Little Miss Perfect is a song by Joriah Kwame from his musical of the same name. This accompaniment is based on the Taylor Louderman version (tempos wise) and is down 2 semitones from the original which gives a top note of E rather than the F# of the original key.
Lyrics : Straight hair, straight A's, straight forward Straight path, I don't cut corners I make a point to be on time Head out the student council
I don't black out at parties I jam to Paul McCartney If you ask me how I'm doing, I'll say Well
I was adopted when I was two My parents spoiled me rotten Often I ask myself, what did I do To get as far as I've gotten? A pretty girl walks by my locker My heart gives a flutter, but I don't dare utter a word 'Cause that would be absurd behavior for Little Miss Perfect
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na, no I can't risk falling off my throne La-la-la-la-la-la-la, love Is something I don't even know
Straight hair, straight A's Straight forward, straight girl Little Miss Perfect, that's me
One night, my friend stayed over We laughed, and drink and ordered Something about her drew me in What? It's totally platonic
That night was so exciting Her smirks were so enticing Hours speed by like seconds Then, what happens is iconic
She takes a sip, I bite my lip She tells a joke, I nearly choke She braids my hair, I sit there Blacking out for the first time Next thing I know, I lose control I finally kiss her, but, oh, no I see a face in my window Then my brain starts to go
Na-na-na-na-na-na-na, no You can't risk falling off your throne La-la-la-la-la-la-la, love Is something I don't even know Na-na-na-na-na-na-na You can't risk falling off your throne La-la-la-la-la-la-la, love You don't even know
Rewind, induce amnesia Deny the truth, that's easier You're just confused, believe her When she says there's nothing there It's never worth it When you're Little Miss Perfect
The Accompanist has created a collection of Piano Accompaniments of Musical Theatre and Popular music songs.
I'm creating a playlist on my channel page of covers using The Accompanist's tracks so let me know if you do a cover using it and I'll add it to this channel's covers playlist.

Tenor / Male Voice Piano Accompaniment with Karaoke lyrics Onscreen in C Major (+7 semitones from original key).
As Long As He Needs Me is a song from the 1960 musical Oliver! which was written by Lionel Bart.
This accompaniment has been created for Tenor/High Baritone voice in the key of C Major which is a perfect 4th down or a perfect 5th up from the original from the musical, this gives a top note of G.
Lyrics : [Nancy] As long as he needs me Oh, yes, he does need me In spite of what you see I'm sure that he needs me
Who else would love him still When they've been used so ill He knows I always will As long as he needs me
I miss him so much when he is gone But when he's near me I don't let on The way I feel inside The love I have to hide The Hell! I've got my pride As long as he needs me
He doesn't say the things he should He acts the way he thinks she should But, all the same I'll play this game his way
As long as he needs me I know where I must be I'll cling on steadfastly As long as he needs me
As long as life is long I'll love him, right or wrong And, somehow, I'll be strong As long as he needs me
If you are lonely, then you will know When someone needs you, you love them so
I won't betray his trust Though people say I must I've got to stay true, just As long as he needs me ---
