JolielegalAll Gorgon Eyes, Phoenix Feathers, and Muse Keys in God of War 1. There are way more than 18 eyes and feathers, so after you get 18 of each, the remaining chests will be converted to red orbs. This video shows the location of all possible collectables, not just the first 18.
There are 5 Muse Key chests, but you only need two. To use the Muse Keys, go the Rings of Pandora and turn the outer ring to the Chamber of the Gods location. This will allow to get the forth and final health and magic upgrades, as well as a great amount of red orbs. The earliest you can unlock the Chamber of the Gods is after the Challenge of Poseidon.

Composed by Gerard Marino.Colossus of Rhodes (in-game version) - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-02-14 | In-game version of God of War 2 OST track "Colossus of Rhodes". It plays during the second Colossus fight, and in the second floor of the Clotho level.
This is a less intense, suspense version of the Colossus theme. A more intense combat version plays during the first Colossus fight, third Colossus fight, and first Lahkesis fight. Other short versions of the theme play at the end of the intro cutscene, and when defeating the Colossus. In GoW3, another short variation of the Colossus theme plays when killing Hephaestus.
Composed by Gerard Marino.Crossing the Lowlands (in-game version) - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-02-14 | In-game version of God of War 2 OST track "Crossing the Lowlands". It plays while crossing the Lowlands, in the ice room puzzle in the Palace of the Fates, and in the Clotho battle.
Interestingly, in the Chains of Olympus files, Crossing the Lowlands is called RHOCOM1L (Rhodes Combat), indicating that it would possibly play in Rhodes originally. Its suspense counterpart (RHOSUS1L) is used as a generic suspense song and plays many times throughout the game. It uses the same melody as Crossing the Lowlands in a few parts. Its ambient counterpart (RHOAMB1L) plays in the East Auditorium.
Composed by Gerard Marino.Isle Combat (Perseus & Zeus Fight Theme) - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-02-14 | In-game version of the combat portion of OST track "The Isle of Creation". Plays when fighting cyclops in Destiny's Atrium, during the Perseus boss fight, and during the final Zeus boss fight. Looped for two repetitions (loop point is at 2:38).
Also plays in Chains of Olympus when fighting cyclops after first arriving at the Underworld, and during the test of Charon's magic.
An alternative drums-only version of this song plays in GoW2 when whipping the horses of the Steeds of Time.
Isle of Creation has a number of versions in the game. The main Isle theme (first part of the OST track) plays during the Steeds of Time cutscene and also as short stingers throughout the game. The suspense version of the theme (second part of the OST track) plays after the Steeds of Time cutscene, in the back of the Temple of Atropos before Perseu's fight, and in various cutscenes. An ambient version of the theme (unofficially called "Dark Odyssey") plays when arriving at the Destiny's Atrium, after killing Perseus, and before descending to the Phoenix Chamber. The music in this video is the combat version of the theme (last part of the OST track).
This in-game version plays the song twice, with minor differences between them. The main difference is the climax at 0:48 and 2:02. In the first time playing, it is played with drums and brass. In the second time playing, it is played with drums, strings, and choir.
Composed by Cris Velasco. The End Begins (in-game version) - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-02-06 | In-game version of The End Begins, which is Kratos' theme in God of War 2. It plays in the main menu, when escaping from the underworld after Kratos' death, and during the final fight against Lahkesis and Atropos.
This in-game version is almost identical to the OST version (it's not extended, has no different instruments, etc), and plays the song twice with no difference. The point at 1:39 sounds like a loop, but the actual audio file in the game's files is 3:20 long and only after that does the song technically loop.
As the main theme of the game, The End Begins also plays in many other tracks, cutscenes, and stingers throughout the game. These include: The Way of the Gods, Colossus Combat, First Zeus Fight, Kraken grabs Kratos cutscene, Kratos returns in time cutscene, Death of Athena cutscene, The Battle for Olympus, Call to Arms (from GoW3).
Composed by Gerard Marino.Phoenix Rising (in-game version) - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-02-06 | Extended in-game version of God of War 2 OST track "Phoenix Rising". It plays in the cyclops fight at the entrance of the Palace of the Fates, and is also featured in the cutscene where Kratos rides the Phoenix to the Temple of the Fates.
Also plays in Chain of Olympus in the Persephone fight, and in one of the challenges.
The song is based on "Zeus' Wrath Divine" from God of War 1, and the same theme is also present in "Brothers of Blood" from God of War 3.
Composed by Cris Velasco.Heart of the Colossus - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-02-06 | This song plays in God of War 2 in the level inside the Colossus of Rhodes, and much later in the game during the third phase of the Kraken fight.
This song is based on the Glory of Sparta theme, which is present in other tracks that play in the beginning of the game. The Sparta theme plays at 0:25, 0:55, and 1:10. In this in-game implementation, the song is played twice, with the second repetition starting at 1:21. In the second repetition, some of the choir is omitted, and there is en extra portion of the song at 2:41 that does not play in the first repetition.
The Eastern Ramparts song (and its variation Wraiths of Asphodel) is very similar to this song, especially to the part at 0:59. Wraiths of Asphodel also borrows directly the melody from 0:25.
Composed by Mike Reagan.Eastern Ramparts - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-02-06 | This song plays in the Eastern Ramparts level (after the cutscene where Zeus introduces the Blade of Olympus, and before the Colossus 3 fight), and in the second phase of the Kraken fight. Also plays in Chains of Olympus after the Shores of Attica, and in GoW3 during the fight against the two Chimeras at the Gates of Tisiphone.
An alternative version of this song plays when fighting wraiths in the Temple of Lahkesis. Eastern Ramparts, and especially the wraiths variations, have parts that are similar to the Heart of Colossus song.
Composed by Mike Reagan.Colossus Combat - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-02-06 | This song plays during the first Colossus fight, third Colossus fight, and first Lahkesis fight.
This is a combat version of the Colossus theme. A suspense version (Colossus of Rhodes from the released OST) plays during the second Colossus fight, and in the second floor of the Clotho level. Other short versions of the theme play at the end of the intro cutscene, and when defeating the Colossus. In GoW3, another short variation of the Colossus theme plays when killing Hephaestus.

Composed by Gerard Marino. The Glory of Sparta (Combat version) - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-02-06 | In-game version of the combat variation of The Glory of Sparta. It plays in God of War 2 in the first fight of the game, in the pendulum puzzle inside Colossus' head, and when fighting the Last Spartan.
In God of War 3, this plays during the Hercules fight (same song but with a different starting point). It also plays in Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta.
In two battles in the Hall of Atropos, the game plays an alternative version of this song, which extends the first part of the song, focusing on the background percussion and strings.
Composed by Mike Reagan.Battle For The Skies (in-game version) - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-31 | In-game version of OST track "Battle For The Skies". Plays during the second Pegasus level.
Composed by Mike Reagan. The Glory of Sparta Intro Extended - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-31 | Alternative version of The Glory of Sparta from God of War 2. It plays in two battles in the Hall of Atropos (against the satyrs, and against the Juggernaut). It also plays in God of War 3 during the beginning of the Hercules fight.
This song extends the first part of The Glory of Sparta Combat, and removes the main melody that plays with the brass. It is a suspense track that focuses on the background percussion and strings.
Composed by Mike Reagan. The Glory of Sparta (Suspense version 1) - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-31 | This song is a suspense version of The Glory of Sparta. It plays on Rhodes before the second Colossus fight, and during the fight to test Cronos' Rage. A second, extended version plays when entering the Colossus.
The first part of this track (up to 1:12) is a calmer version of the first part of the OST version of The Glory of Sparta. The part from 1:12 to 2:00 is unique and is not present in the OST version. Then from 2:00 to the end the game just repeats the whole track with minor differences.
Composed by Mike Reagan. The Glory of Sparta (Suspense version 2) - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-31 | This is an extended version of the suspense variation of The Glory of Sparta. It plays in the beginning of the level inside the Colossus. Also plays in Ghost of Sparta when walking through Sparta.
Composed by Mike Reagan.Typhon Mountain (in-game version) - God of War 2 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-31 | This is the first in-game version of the first half of OST track "Typhon Mountain". It plays when first arriving at the Typhon level (after Pegasus gets trapped).
The first half of Typhon Mountain has a number of other in-game versions. There is a less intense version that plays during the gorgon fight inside Typhon's cavern. Another version plays when returning to the Hand Cavern after acquiring Rage of the Titans. A drums-only version plays much later in the game when exiting the Phoenix Chamber.
This song also plays in Chains of Olympus during a minotaur fight in the Caves of Olympus, and in one of the fights in the Temple of Persephone.
The second half of Typhon Mountain from the OST is an entirely different composition (albeit related thematically to this one), and it plays before getting the Bow: youtu.be/lwfShjRI62k
Composed by Mike Reagan.Arena 5 (drums-only version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-17 | This song plays when fighting minotaurs inside Hades' Palace. It is a drums-only version of Arena 5.
Composed by Cris Velasco.Arena 5 - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-17 | This is one of 8 possible songs that play in the Arena and Challenges. In the game's files, it is referred as "Arena 5".
This is a unique song that is unused in the main game for same reason, which is a shame, as it is a great track. It plays very briefly in the beginning of the cutscene where Gaia punches Poseidon, and a drums-only version plays in Hades' Palace. In Ghost of Sparta, it plays in a fight before the Vortex.
Composed by Cris Velasco.Brothers of Blood (in-game version 1) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-17 | This is the first in-game version of OST track "Brothers of Blood". It plays during the 2D fight against Zeus, in the Chamber of the Flame.
This version is shorter, doesn't have choir, and is missing the main climax of the song. The second in-game version, which plays in the Zeus' fight inside the Heart of Gaia, is longer and can be considered a more complete version of the song. A drums-only version of the song also plays when fighting Poseidon in the beginning of the game, and before the Scorpion Boss fight.
Brothers of Blood is God of War 3's rendition of the famous Zeus Wrath Divine theme from God of War 1, which also appeared in God of War 2's Phoenix Rising. Its name and position in the released soundtrack suggest it was originally intended to play in the Hercules fight.
Composed by Cris Velasco.Brothers of Blood (in-game version 2) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-17 | This is the second in-game version of OST track "Brothers of Blood". It plays during the final against Zeus, in the Heart of Gaia.
Compared to the first in-game version (which plays in the 2D fight in the Chamber of the Flame), this version is longer, has choir, and features the complete song. A drums-only version of Brothers of Blood also plays when fighting Poseidon in the beginning of the game, and before the Scorpion Boss fight.
Brothers of Blood is God of War 3's rendition of the famous Zeus Wrath Divine theme from God of War 1, which also appeared in God of War 2's Phoenix Rising. Its name and position in the released soundtrack suggest it was originally intended to play in the Hercules fight.
Composed by Cris Velasco.Rage of Sparta (in-game version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-17 | This is the main in-game version of OST track "Rage of Sparta". Rage of Sparta can be considered Kratos' theme in God of War 3, and usually plays when defeating important characters and bosses.
Specifically, this version plays in the following moments of the game: - Poseidon's death sequence. - When cutting off Gaia's hand with the Blade of Olympus. - Hermes' death sequence. - Final phase of the Hercules fight (when Kratos acquires the Cestus). - Final part of the Cronos level. - Destroyed Chamber of the Flame and Zeus' fight in the rotunda.
The Helios encounter features two different versions of the song. First, during the cutscene, the game plays a calmer version that only has strings. Then, when actually killing Helios, the game plays an alternative version of the full song. The Main menu of God of War 3 features a unique version of Rage of Sparta that combines it with the original Kratos' theme from God of War 1. The OST version of the track, which is shorter and non-extended, plays in the end credits.
Composed by Gerard Marino.Icarus Ascent (version 1) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-13 | First version of Icarus' Ascent, the theme of the flying sections. It plays during the first Icarus' Vent sequence (when exiting the Path of Eos).
An alternative version (version 2) plays during the second and fourth flying sections. During the third flying section, the game plays another version (version 3) which is the same as version 1, but with a different starting point.
Note that you never actually get to hear this version track in the game, because the sequence is shorter than the song (and you can't idle). The climatic section with the brass at 2:12, especially, is never heard in the game, which is a shame because it is arguably the best part of the song.
Composed by Cris Velasco. The Great Machine (in-game version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-13 | In-game version of OST track "The Great Machine" (the Labyrinth theme). Plays inside the Labyrinth, after the Talos fight.
Before the Talos fight, there is a drums-only version of The Great Machine. Before rescuing Pandora and on the top of the Labyrinth, there is another drums-only version, which is the same as the first one, but with a different starting point. The GoW3 files also contain an unused dynamic version of The Great Machine, with a calm part and an intense part.
Composed by Mike Reagan.Tartarus Combat (Third Centaur Fight) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-13 | This song plays during the third centaur fight of the game, just after entering Tartarus. Also plays in the Combat Arena and Challenges, and in Ghost of Sparta.
Composed by Ron Fish.March of Tartarus (Cronos version 3) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-13 | This is the final implementation of OST track "The March of Tartarus" that plays in the game. It plays during the final portion of the Cronos level, when fighting on his shoulder.
This version is the same as the version that plays during the Helios level, but has a different starting point. An alternative version plays during the beginning of the Cronos level. A drums-only version plays during the middle part of the Cronos level.
Composed by Ron Fish.Labor of Destruction (Tartarus version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-13 | Third in-game version of OST track "Labor of Destruction". This plays in Tartarus, before encountering Cronos.
This version is the almost the same as the first in-game version (Army of Sparta version), but with a different starting point. The second in-game version plays in the Peirithous' room. The fourth and final in-game version plays in the Combat Arena and Challenges, and is similarly the same as version 2, but with a different starting point.
Composed by Ron Fish.Hercules Fight (The Glory of Sparta) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-13 | This version of The Glory of Sparta (from the God of War 2 soundtrack) plays in God of War 3 during the fight against Hercules, from the moment he steps onto the arena, up to the point Kratos takes the Cestus from him. This is the same version of the song that plays in the first fight of God of War 2, but with a different starting point.
Composed by Mike Reagan.Scorpion Boss Fight - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-13 | This song plays during the fight against the giant Scorpion in the Caverns.
Parts of this song also play in the beginning of the game -- in the cutscene where Hippocampus spawns, and before the second Hippocampus fight. An alternative version of the song plays in Ghost of Sparta in the Vortex section; it was presumably made for God of War 3 originally, but was unused.
Composed by Mike ReaganBrothers of Blood (drums-only version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-13 | This is a drums-only version of Brothers of Blood. It plays during the Poseidon fight, and before the Scorpion Boss fight. Looped for two repetitions (loop point is at 1:54).
Composed by Cris Velasco.Cliffs of Olympus (drums-only version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-11 | This track plays when first landing on Mount Olympus, after the first Hippocampus battle. It is a drums-only version of "Cliffs of Olympus", which plays in the next sequence, when the Hippocampus reappears and grabs Gaia.
Composed by Cris Velasco.Duel With Hades (in-game version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-11 | In-game version of OST track "Duel With Hades". Plays during the first part of the fight against Hades, and in the final part (when he appears in his giant form).
Compared to the OST track, this version is slightly longer and has a different starting point. It retains all the instruments from the OST version, as opposed to the second in-game version (which plays on the tug of war phase of the fight), which is a calmer and moodier take on the song.
Composed by Jeff Rona.Hermes Battle - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-11 | This song plays during the fight against Hermes.
An alternative version of this song plays in the Water Trap in the Labyrinth, when rescuing Pandora. While the Hermes' fight version only has drums and strings, the Water Trap version also has brass and is therefore a more complete version of the song.
Composer unknown.Labor of Destruction (Army of Sparta version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-11 | First in-game version of OST track "Labor of Destruction". This plays during the fight to test the Army of Sparta magic, shortly after arriving at the Underworld.
In Tartarus before encountering Cronos, the game plays another version of Labor of Destruction which is the almost the same as this one, but with a different starting point. Another version of the track plays in Peirithous' room. A fourth version plays in the Arena and Challenges, which similarly is the same as the Peirithous' room version, but with a different starting point.
Composed by Ron Fish. The Leviathan (drums-only version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-11 | Drums-only version of the song that plays during the second Hippocampus fight. It plays when platforming at the Chain of Balance, between the two flying sequences. Looped for two repetitions (loop point is at 1:54).
Composed by Mike Reagan.Olympia Centaur - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-11 | This song plays during the Centaur fight in Olympia.
E3 2009 demo version: youtu.be/J2s_9erhk6g Composer version: youtu.be/FeiaSwKThYU (Note: both of these versions use mock-up instruments, as they were created before the game's soundtrack was recorded.)
Composer unknown.Stalker (in-game version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-11 | In-game version of OST track "Stalker". Plays during the Hermes chase.
An alternative, calmer version plays when Hermes appears at the Chamber of the Flame (before the chase). An ambient version of the song plays in Ghost of Sparta; presumably it was made for God of War 3, but ended up unused.
Composed by Cris Velasco.Depths of Hades Combat (in-game version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-06 | First in-game version of the combat portion of OST track "Depths of Hades". It plays in the second and third Trials of Erebus, in the two Cerberi fight before entering Hades' Palace, and in the infamous Cerberus Breeder plus satyrs fight near the end of the game.
An alternative version plays in the Challenges and Combat Arena.
Composed by Ron Fish. The Three Judges (drums-only version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-06 | Drums-only version of OST track "The Three Judges". Plays when first arriving at the Judges, before the Trials of Erebus. This video plays the track twice; the loop point is at 1:23.
Composed by Ron Fish.Wading Through the River Styx - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-06 | This song plays in the first gorgon fight of the game, shortly after arriving at Hades. The name "Wading Through the River Styx" comes from the composer's website.
This version plays the song twice, first with no brass, second (starting at 1:35) with less strings. This version also only has light choir. Overall, this version is a low intensity variation of the full song. The second in-game version, which plays when fighting Gorgons in the Labyrinth, has a higher intensity and features all the instruments.
Composed by Cris Velasco.Anthem of the Dead (in-game version) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-06 | In-game version of OST track "Anthem of the Dead", which plays in the River Styx after Kratos falls from Mount Olympus. It uses the Hades theme which also appears in "Depths of Hades" and the first Trial of Erebus song.
This version is nearly identical to the OST version, but I decided to upload it separately as it is slightly less compressed.
Composed by Jeff Rona.Rapture of War (First Fight Theme) - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-06 | "Zeus! Your son has returned. I bring the destruction of Olympus."
This song plays in the start of God of War 3, when fighting grunts on Gaia's arm. One of the best songs in the game, unfortunately it's not used anywhere else.
After defeating the initial grunts and watching the cutscene where Poseidon defeats the titan, the game plays the same song but starting at 1:36. It is otherwise identical to this version.
Composed by Cris Velasco.Main Menu Theme - God of War 3 SoundtrackJolielegal2023-01-06 | This song plays in the Main Menu of God of War 3. It is a slower version of Rage of Sparta, incorporating the main Kratos' theme from God of War 1.
The in-game implementation of this track plays the song twice. First with a calmer start and less brass. Second (starting at 1:43) with a more intense start and full brass.
Also plays in the PS4/PS5 UI before starting the game.
Composed by Gerard Marino.God of War 3 Easy Glitchless Speedrun 3:28:20 (World Record)Jolielegal2022-09-08 | This was a good run, although the beginning was mediocre. The ending was very good. 3:27 is possible, but I moved to Very Hard Glitchless after this run.
