Exploring an ABANDONED House of a War Hero JeremyXplores 2022-12-31 | In a small village just an hour north of Paris, sits the home of WW1 veteran, Louis Teray. Abandoned since the 1993 after Louis passed away, his small cottage home is now hidden by the woods that have now grown around it. Louis served in the French army as an infantryman and was severely wounded during the Battle of Verdun in the summer of 1916. Thus losing both of his legs and was sent home as a war hero.Some time after, he married a single mother, widowed by losing her husband to the war and he acknowledged her child as his own. Louis and his wife both feeling unlovable because of their horrible circumstances, found love in each other.. a love that would last for the rest of their lives. Exploring an Abandoned Cottage In France JeremyXplores 2022-12-24 | In 1935, Mr Jean Francois and Mrs Madeleine moved into this beautiful 1800’s manor in Normandy, France. Young and in love, started a life together here giving birth their daughter Louise in 1939, but soon things would drastically change as the WWII began and Germany advanced toward France. Je an Francois had no choice but to take up arms and enlist into the French army in defense of his country. But in the following year, he was killed in action during the Battle of France in May of 1940. Madeleine would never remarry.Absolutely devastated over the loss of her husband, she would soon see the misery of war with her own eyes as it made its way into Normandy, falling under German occupation.. but Madeliene and 4 year-old Louise had each other to depend on and despite the brutal conflicts in the small village, the manor was spared from the bombings and eventually the allied forces liberated the town and advanced into Paris.. bringing and end to the Nazi reign and soon after the war would be over. Over the years, Louise decided to start her own family, marrying later in life around the age of 40 and having a daughter of her own.. however, Louise’s marriage didn’t last long and with Madeleine now in her 80’s, Louise decided to move back into the manor along her daughter and be her mother’s caretaker. But tragedy would strike yet again in the winter of 1997. Louis and her daughter were on their way back from a trip to Paris when their car was struck by a drunk driver.. they were both killed in the accident.Madeleine, no stranger to grief, took the death of Louise and her granddaughter very hard. They were the only family she had. She spent the rest of her days quietly in her lonely house. Not much is known about Madeleine’s well being over the next several years but in 2005, she passed away at the age of 87, having no one to leave this manor to. ABANDONED Politicians Home In The Woods JeremyXplores 2022-12-17 | It’s all too often a family is torn apart over the very place that held them. A place of refuge, a place of so many beautiful memories is now tainted by the tragedy of greed. This is the story of Jack and Dorothy and the home that held their family.Jack was born in 1914 and grew up in this country home his father built in the late 1800’s. He was always the go-getter type and believed he would one day be the mayor of this small Georgia town. After marrying Dorothy, his high school sweetheart, his father gifted the newlyweds the house to raise a family in.But tragically, the happy couple suffered the loss of two of their children.. one of them only an infant. And through their grief, they held each other together with the love they shared and overcame the obstacles of despair; Jack going on to being elected as mayor, and Dorothy raising their 6 other children at home. As time went on, the children all grew up and moved away while Jack and Dorothy lived out their years in the home that held their family for so long. But in 1992, sadly, Jack died at the age of 78, leaving behind his estate to Dorothy.. but not long after Jack died, Dorothy passed away without leaving an official will for her children despite the verbal agreements on how their inheritance would be spit. And although this beautiful home held a love story that lasted for decades, it too, was laid to rest after the children entered a drawn out legal battle with one another failing to come to agreement on how to divide the estate. And now, like the vines that have swallowed this once beautiful place, the unrelenting nature of greed consumes everything in its path- a family that once was, the home that held them together, and the love story of Jack and Dorothy. And we later found out, she didn't only intend of killing her brother that night.. she also had plans of killing her parents but because of the screams of her brother as he was being stabbed to death, she panicked, dropped the knife and escaped out the back door and ran into the woods.So a little bit about Rachel, she seemed like a normal 14 year kid, she made decent grades in school, she was quiet, but from the outside looking in, nothing seemed out of the ordinary BUT According to interviews with Rachel's siblings, she was very troubled from an early age, she didn't really have any friends, and she spent most her time alone in her roombut as she got older, Rachel became more and more reclusive and it was around this time, she developed a fascination with Satanic worship and began practicing satanic rituals in her bedroom, right next to her brother Thomas' room. And to this day, her parents blame the murder solely on Rachel's Satanic practices.HOWEVER the plot to this story gets even thicker… check this out- in later interviews with 2 of Rachel's siblings, they introduced new details to this story that paints a much broader picture of what might have truly been going on the household. They claim that from the age of 7, Rachel along with her younger sister was being molested and abused by ThomasBut that's not all Allegedly, Rachel's FATHER, had also been molesting the two girls. Her father of course denies these claims and says that the devil made Rachel do it and not perhaps years of sexual, emotional, and physical torment she had to endure before she finally snapped and devised a plan to murder her own brother and parents. During the very brief investigation and court proceeding Rachel's story of what happened to her as a child matched perfectly with what her two siblings claimed… nevertheless, she was giving a harsh sentencing to 28 years in a mental facility in Florida. Apparently after the murder, the family moved pretty from the small Georgia town and never really looked back… understandably so. But here's another kicker- they left everything inside the 1884 home and they didn't sell it either. Grant it, I imagine it'd be a tough sell considering what happened there. This mansion was the home of Marcel and his beloved wife Petra. Marcel was originally from the city of Zurich, Switzerland where he grew up and later took over the family business of producing zinc, a highly successful company that operated out of China. Aside from his career, Marcel was passionate about two things- his family, and the restoration of historical buildings. In fact, at the age of 50, he decided to fulfill his lifelong dream of moving out of the city and into the peaceful countryside of France… but under the condition that he find a historical manor that needed desperate renovation to restore it to its former glory. He did just thatHe found 17th century mansion perched upon a hill just on the outskirts of a small, peaceful French village and he created a masterpiece from the bear bones the mansion had been for many years. After the work was completed, he started a new life with his family here and so began the next chapter of his life. Eventually, his children all grew up and moved away to other parts of the world and so Marcel and Petra lived out their years in the home until 2010, when Petra was diagnosed with cancer and died the following year. Marcel, also battling his own health problems was now unable to walk and barley able to take care of himself. Losing his beloved wife proved to be too much for Marcel. Battling his own set of health issues from his old age, he was now unable to walk and barley able to take care of himself, let alone deal with the loneliness that haunted him.Surrounded by the walls he'd built for his family, they'd become hellacious reminders of the love, the joy, and the life that was once here but is now gone with the passing of time. Not long after his wife's death, in 2013, Marcel died, alone in his house. One can only speculate he grieved himself to death. Sadly, even though his children were to inherit the property, they've all been in a legal battle with each other for nearly a decade, unable to reach an agreement on how to divide the estate. What we found inside of this mansion was absolutely bone chilling and the story of the heinous events that took place here is quite disturbing, to say the least. Built in the early 90's this mansion's existence began as a seemingly normal family home as a father, wife, and their son and daughter all lived here. The father made his wealth through the party and entertainment industry as he owned two stores that sold party supplies and hosted most of the major events in the area. But in 2010 tragically, his wife passed away from breast cancer and that's when things took a dark turn. Not long after her death, he began directing and even participating amateur adult films. All was well until it was discovered he was luring unassuming woman to his house, often using his money, power and drugs as a way to entice them. And when they got to his home, he was secretly filming his sexual acts with them and selling the tapes.Fortunately, his luck wouldn't last long as almost immediately the local authorities were tipped off about is illegal sexual exploitations and his house was raided. Inside, they found dozens of home made sex tapes of his victims along with a considerable amount of cocaine. He was indicted on charges of voyeurism and possession of narcotics. He was only sentenced to 6 months in jail but his legal debts and shattered reputation forced him to move far away and leave everything behind.
