BRRs Skylanders Animation Commentary: Skylanders who are Really Inactive and Rise of the Forgotten BRRGames 2024-05-13 | Day 13 of my Skylanders fan animation commentary series. This time, we’re focusing on two Skylanders animations with a similar topic, Skylanders who are really inactive and Rise of the Forgotten. Two animations I did which focus on Skylanders who for a while didn’t have a new figure in a sequel game. 24 Skylanders from Spyro’s Adventure managed to get a Wow Pow repose in Giants, and Wham Shell, Warnado and Camo each got a Series 2 and Lightcore in Swap Force. Boomer, Voodood, Ghost Roaster, Dino Rang and Sunburn did not get any of those in Giants, Swap Force or Trap Team. Similar for Giants, Every core Skylander got at least a Wow Pow or Lightcore in Swap Force and/or Trap Team, with only one exception, Fright Rider.One animation was a music video of Weird Al Yankovic’s parody of Imagine Dragons’ Radioactive called Inactive, describing the Skylanders who didn’t get a new figure in the first three sequels, Giants, Swap Force and Trap Team. Showcase that they are perhaps really inactive. It was basically made because I was feeling depressed over the fact that one of my grandmothers died that same year. Suddenly, five days later after I released the animation, an announcement was made about Skylanders Superchargers’ new Eon’s Elite, bringing back Boomer, Voodood, Ghost Roaster, Dino Rang, Slam Bam and Zook. Sunburn however did not comeback and neither did Fright Rider if Eon’s Elite allowed Giants debuters. As a result, I made a new animation as soon as possible in response to that news.I don’t know if the first animation I did has either aged terribly or aged gracefully because it was made before the announcement of some of the Skylanders comebacks, or it’s because Skylanders hasn’t had a new game since 2016 and the last game to focus on Skylanders, Ring of Heroes got closed down in 2022. All we got now is just minor references to the game through Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and Crash Team Rumble, which were made by Skylanders creator, Toys for Bob.

BRRs Skylanders Animation Commentary: Krack-it Kaos BRRGames 2024-05-09 | Day 9 of my Skylanders fan animation commentary series. Oh boy was this not a fun one to work on, Krack-it Kaos, my “attempt” to parody my all time favorite Walt Disney Animation Studios film, Wreck-it Ralph. I when through a lot of hell trying to make this movie. The first part was suppose to be released in July of 2013, but then a hard drive malfunction caused the project to be put on hold for at least 7 months. When finally made the animation, it was made with tons of backlash. I had little confidence to continue ever since, so I decided to end it shorter than planned.In case you’re wondering, I’m still having confidence to do Skylanders University. Though right now, I’m still in a bit of a pickle with my computer out cold. And yes, I do have other projects to consider like finishing of Skyney, the other part of the Christmas Redux special and doing more parts of Sky Wars.
