Building a boat is no easy feat, but the Osse family are determined to complete their boat plans. In this video Tony explains how boat construction begins and proceeds. The finished project will be a stitch and glue boat complete with a kitchen, shower, and everything necessary for modern boats. Tony's amateur boatbuilding project utilizes grade plywood, stitch and glue methods, epoxy, fiberglass and composite boat building. Finally, the family will install a marine electrical system throughout the boat with the Volvo Penta D3 engine at its heart. Setting out to build a plywood boat with fiberglass cloth and no experience was a daunting task. Today, the Osse's are roughly 40% through to completion.
