[HITMAN 3] Mendoza New Game SASO Speedrun- 1:56
updated
Fun contract
I used to play Shadow Fight 2 back in 2018-2019, and I beat the hardest boss on NG+ (Eclipse May / Titan) 11 times with various weapons before I got bored.
Sadly, my game save from that time is now lost (long story), and I'm starting again fresh.
My all-time fav weapons were always the Moon sabers, mostly cause the jumping super slash is a great gap closer.
Anyways, Round 1 went almost perfectly, while I started slipping up in Round 2, but I still clutched up. I gotta start doing more kicks at close range.
BTW if anyone actually wants some tutorial tips for this game, I recommend CSK Official, helped me out even as a veteran: youtu.be/hCBpSNFTq98

The contract / competition is run by some guy on Bilibili called "尚在天国EX", which kinda translates to "Still in Heaven EX"? Didn't want to make my video title illegible to English speakers haha.

Anyways, it was a good contract but pistol aiming sucks as usual. Sato gets blown into the corner (on top of the crate) and won't be found for a good 10 seconds after the micro explosive blows up.
Instructions:
- Pick a target that is walking and is not already responding to another distraction for best results
- Throw Emetic Gas Grenade (the one from Ambrose Island) onto the target's back as shown, it can help to be directly behind the target
- Shoot with a gun a bit behind or below you, right after the grenade throw (must be fast). You want the target to hear the shot but you don't want them to panic, so Krugermeier is best. Although other regular silenced pistol e.g. ICA19 can also work if you are careful to shoot farther away, or just use the gunshot as a lure and shoot behind yourself
- The timing on the inject is a bit tight but I think not shooting fast enough is more likely to cause failure
Bonus clip at 0:30 - At least a few times I got instant inject just throwing the grenade like this, but obviously you get combat.
Theory: Multiple distractions in different directions, e.g. grenade throw sound + bullet, or grenade throw sound + guard yelling at you from behind cause the NPC animations to glitch out and give instant inject. The emetic also seems to help with the consistency, although this needs more testing.
Now I don't know if it's actually "consistent" but I did get it 3 times in a row, and overall maybe 50% consistency after only an hour's practice.

Install CheatEngine freecam / pause script for Hitman: github.com/solderq35/hitman-tech-tips/blob/main/misc/hitman3ansel.md#cheatengine-freecam
This method also uses CheatEngine to pause the game without the in-game pause menu covering the screen, so it may be Windows only. It is probably possible to create a similar custom pause tool for Linux but I don't know where to find it
0:00 - modding sdk freecam + cheatengine pause
1:10- Measuring distances with cheatengine pause + modding sdk
General idea
- So first section of this video is just a general tutorial for modding sdk freecam + cheatengine freecam's pause command (see "Install CheatEngine freecam / pause script for Hitman" above)
- You can combine the pause from cheatengine freecam script with modding sdk freecam. Why do this? Well from what I could tell you can't use the modding sdk to highlight objects or measure distances while in the cheatengine freecam version. Also subjectively, the image quality is much better with modding sdk freecam. Although modding sdk can be used with in-game pause, the in-game pause puts a transparent overlay over the screen that makes it harder to see what's going on in-game
- Anyways: start by pressing "P" key to enter sdk freecam. Hit F3 to pause the game via cheatengine. Note here that at this point you can't move in the freecam anymore. But, if you press F2 to unpause and F3 to pause again, now you can move.
- The key thing is that every other time you press F2 + F3 (unpause and then pause), you can move within sdk freecam. So, F2 + F3 + F2 + F3, repeat the sequence
- With that said, if you don't have to move the freecam but just wanted to buffer the pause for some reason, you can still interact with modding sdk (say if you only did one F2 + F3)
- The second section of the video, starting at 1:10, is the measuring explosion distances part
- To trigger explosion and then get into freecam paused, hit detonate explosive, then P for sdk freecam, then F3 for cheatengine pause, all in rapid succession. Then hit F2 + F3 + F2 + F3 (as fast as possible one after the other), then move in paused freecam down to explosion spot
- For the rest of the instructions, refer to the previous video in the series: youtu.be/jvFGfryvJjo, since only the pause mechanics are a little different
- I am not the author of the modding sdk, for more help ask in glacier modding server: discord.gg/6UDtuYhZP6
If confused, see part 1 for basic usage instructions: youtu.be/Hsv6QQ0aSgY
Make sure you have "freecam" and "debug mod" installed from the sdk.
See also part 3 of this series: youtu.be/PN8hIUeSxN4
This method only uses modding sdk and in-game pause menu, which are compatible with both Windows and Linux
0:00 - Close By Version
2:14 - Long Distance Version
General idea
- Set up explosives (or whatever you are measuring) wherever on the map. You can do flying explosive launch here if you want (simulated at 2:14, although I threw the items down)
- Or technically, you can also move the item you're measuring anywhere via modding sdk and freecam as shown starting at 2:47
- Start off with modding sdk freecam (P key). Move with freecam to object you are using as measuring stick (briefcase here), hit sdk hotkey (~ key). Make sure you have debug mod enabled from the sdk.
- Keep measuring stick (briefcase) highlighted with the arrows coming out of it, it makes next steps easier
- Exit freecam mode by hitting P again
- In very fast succession: Hit detonator of explosive, P for freecam, and Esc to pause game (in-game pause menu). Don't hit Esc too early, or the explosion won't go off.
- While still paused, move in freecam to the explosive spot. Buffer pause (unpause and then pause again very fast, check if explosion went off, repeat until exploded)
- Find your briefcase, enter sdk menu with "~" key, drag briefcase over to center of explosion and measure the distance in various dimensions. Write down distances to enter into Pythagorean theorem later
- Remember the option of clicking on the center dot of the briefcase, vs the squares coming out of it, as the latter only moves you in 2 dimensions (e.g. only X - Y axis) which can be helpful if you just wanted to measure horizontally
- Keep pause buffering explosion and repeat steps above if you want to keep measuring the explosion radius at various stages of the process
- Other general pointers: Remember you must exit sdk mode (press "~" key if you currently see "ZHM Mod SDK" in top left), before you can exit freecam (P) or unpause (Esc)
- In general, you can move the freecam camera or move the briefcase, but not both at the same time
- I am not the author of the modding sdk, for more help ask in glacier modding server: discord.gg/6UDtuYhZP6

Hit "~" key to open modding sdk menu. I showed at start of video how to add new mods to sdk if needed too, make sure you have debug mod and (optional but helps) freecam. After making sure the right mods are installed, close menu by pressing "~" again.
Put down the 2 items you want to measure between (in this case, breacher and c4). Place down a third item (I like to use coin cause easy to place) as your measuring stick.
Stand back a bit so 47 doesn't block the camera, then turn on freecam with "p" key. Use WASD keys and mouse to zoom in close, which helps with selecting the items.
Once the camera is in a good position, open the modding sdk menu again with "~".
It is off by default, but make sure you have not checked the "snap" checkbox in the "positions" sdk menu.
Click on the coin until some directional arrows pop out from the item as shown. If you can't get this to happen, keep clicking around the object or maybe zoom in more with freecam.
Next, click on the little squares that appear around the item as shown, just click them briefly and check for the one that says "X Y" when clicked. Now click and then hold, drag that square that says "X Y" (should be the one parallel to the ground). That ensures you will not go into the Z axis. Drag the coin closer to the first object if needed. Then drag the coin (again, via the "X Y" square) from first to second object you are measuring distance between. While holding down the mouse write down the X and Y distances. Plug them into Pythagorean formula later.
If you are on a hill or something and need to measure on the Z axis as well, click on the very center dot from the object as shown next in video, make sure it says "X Y Z" when clicked briefly. Then repeat previous steps but with center dot instead.
NOTE: If you use the center dot method, try to make sure the line between the two objects (so to speak) matches the slant of the ground as much as possible. Like if the ground is flat, then the imaginary "line" between the breacher and c4 should be as horizontal as possible. If the ground is slanted, the line between the objects should also be slanted the same amount. Otherwise the Z axis measurement may be off. You can adjust the mouse cursor in freecam to get the right angle as needed.
As a bonus, if you don't wanna smuggle in coins you can teleport a lot of items to you as your measuring stick via SDK Items menu as shown in last part of video.
If an item falls halfway in the ground or gets stuck in midair you can also pick it up and drop it to "reset" its Z axis state.
I think the "entity" sdk menu also shows item coordinates, but it has a tendency to crash the game, at least for me.

In a nutshell, using default start, basement exit, as well as never dropping the sniper rifle was required.
Had a 0.3 sec faster run but forgot to use a ghost reskin rifle. 1:28 either way
Had faster pacing runs but if you're too fast sometimes you get the slow guard dialogue and you get spotted.
Anyways, don't think I ever uploaded this Miami strat. Footage dates back to August 2022.
Heard that the fast (14-25s) Miami strat is a lot less reliable after the May 2023 patch. Especially if you have lower FPS. Due to the "fake walls" for the Sierra kill wallbang being harder to shoot through now / more random results.
Not sure about that, but in any case, this strat should work on all FPS.
There is the occasional bug (idk if fixed) where Sierra gives nontarget kill inexplicably (youtu.be/zaIL22ejrIM) but not much that can be done about that, as this is unavoidable RNG on literally every Miami run no matter the strat (well unless you got Sierra out of the car but that takes like 2 minutes minimum).
Also one of the guards becomes an enforcer sometimes not sure why.
Other than that this is pretty foolproof strat.

This run is meant to be a safe full game or marathon strat.
Armory = 1:00 stuff
Commander = 1:47 stuff
This run is Safe Armory / Fast Commander
[Notes For Myself] - Might update to be more legible for general audience later idk
Hold instinct for first panic 0:18 (Might Help to press Instinct as soon as possible, might be copium)
1:00 - Aim right of the red chain but under silver horizontal thing for first swipe shoot
1:47 - Swipe right to left for second swipe shoot
Maybe equip camera for this one (similar to equipping a pistol, camera + large gun on back is less suspicious than just a large gun on back)
In general, always press and hold shoot button (left mouse button) before moving mouse
Press and Hold shoot button, tap pause, swipe mouse, tap pause again to unpause, tap pause again to pause
Commander Shot Lineup: media.discordapp.net/attachments/1018323831468851202/1114395646158450738/image.png?width=1200&height=670
The final exit animation doesn't work the same on new patch as far as we can tell. Let the ending cutscene play a split second before leaving. You will add a few milliseconds to your final time but it is what it is.

READ DESCRIPTION FOR CONTEXT
Refer to upper left of video for key presses. Middle mouse = Inventory for the overlay.
The Basics
0:01 - You can't go to Inventory (Middle Mouse Button) while aiming (while holding down Right Mouse Button)
0:10 - Stored Shot is patched (used to be able to hold Instinct, press Left Mouse Button, fire perfect timed snap shot by pressing Right Mouse Button without Instinct later). This is no longer working with new patch.
0:16 - You must take longer to aim and shoot **only if holding Instinct** as of today's new patch. The timing of this when holding Instinct is more akin to Hitman 2. This is connected to how Stored Shot is patched. The new timing with Instinct snap shot will take some getting used to. You can combo this with Pause to prevent shooting animation lag (more on this later)
0:47 - Showcase of Inventory to buffer shots to prevent "slow aim" ( ) animation after shooting. Note that because you can't press Inventory while Right Mouse Button (Aim) button is held, you can mess this up if mis-timed! More on this later.
Always make sure you've let go of Left Mouse Button before Right Mouse Button, as a general rule.
Hold Right Mouse Button → Hold Left Mouse Button → Let go of Left Mouse Button → Tap Inventory (Optional) → Let go of Right Mouse Button → Inventory again or Right Click to leave Inventory and prep next shot
If you mess up the order and you are in slow aim state, just tap Aim (Right Mouse Button) again, or go into Pause Menu (more on this later) to correct it, or just wait it out.
1:17 - Showcase of Pause Screen to buffer shots to prevent "slow aim" animation.
NOTE: Pause is notable because you can go into Pause Menu **while still holding Aim (Right Mouse Button)**. Thus it is basically impossible to screw up, unlike using Instinct to buffer shots.
NOTE: Pause resets your movement inputs, you need to re-press WASD after pausing (more below)
Hold WASD (moving) → Hold Right Mouse Button → Hold Left Mouse Button → Tap Pause Button (Optional) → Press WASD again → Tap Pause again or tap Right Click to Unpause (I prefer Right Click)
Also if you hit Pause too early you can just keep both mouse buttons held down and spam pause to buffer the shot.
2:00 - Same stuff but showcase with Sniper. It's a lot harder to time letting go of the right mouse buttons (IMO) with sniper rifle due to the Marksman Slowdown, so IMO, Pause buffer tech after shots is especially useful here to prevent slow aim.
I'm using Pause Buffering a lot to prevent slow aim here - youtu.be/V1-zv40tWns?t=22
SUMMARY (Somewhat Opinionated)
- Use Inventory or Pause, whichever you are more comfortable with, to prevent slow aim on shots with pistol (or just git gud with the order you let go of the mouse buttons and do it without any pause tech idk)
- The way shooting animations work with Instinct held have changed in today's patch
- Pause is easier than Inventory for prevent slow aim with Sniper rifle
- Pause Screen can be accessed while holding Aim (unlike Inventory) which makes it generally easier to work with, although it also resets movement inputs (just re-press them before unpausing)
Explanation: Hitman 3 is normally an Always Online game, so usually you can't really reset your progress short of reaching out to IOI (Hitman game dev) support. However, with recent advancements in the open source tool Peacock (thepeacockproject.org), it is now possible to reset your progress. I do not claim credit for the development work done on Peacock, although I am involved with Peacock as far as software testing and documentation (most of the wiki site I linked above is written by yours truly).
DISCLAIMER: The way shown to reset progress (well, challenges) shown in the video is unnecessarily complicated (realized later). It is easier to just delete the whole userdata folder, then restart game and server.

4:58 Check Challenges Reset
5:19 Run 2 (Rip this Run, Still Unlocked some Challenges)

Misc. Thoughts:
- The important bit is at 4:58 of course, where I flip the challenge completion flags in my user data JSON file for Peacock from "true" to "false" (shoutouts Notepad++ btw). It is of course horrifically bad practice to do it this way but it was a quick and dirty fix.
- For reference, the user data file in question is stored in userdata\users folder. You'll be able to tell, the JSON file with really long name. Note this file is not generated until you launch the server with Hitman the first time.
- There is no long term damage from what I did per se, the user data file is regenerated to what it should be when you restart the game and server together.
- That's why I had to restart server while the game is still running, to ensure I can overwrite my progression in the moment.
- This method of resetting challenges is good if you want to keep mastery or XP while only resetting challenges, otherwise just delete the whole userdata folder and restart the game / server
- Purpose of this is to document my debug workflow for this and also practice Hitman speedruns :)

0:35 shoot twice to panic guard on right so he won't join ljud in lockdown
then shoot below and to the right of ljud's feet around when I did or sooner to make sure she runs left in lockdown.

[Other Commentary]
1:10 - I peekaboo Cassidy enough that he will come around the corner and open the door to the garage (I close it behind me). When Cassidy opens the door, the door swings inwards towards the garage and sets off the Molotov (Yes, Molotov is that fragile).
3:59 - I wait near the porch a second on purpose, this is needed to enable the porch guard's "checkpoint guard AI" and tell me to go away. Otherwise the porch guard will investigate propane throw and die in the propane explosion later.
5:26, 6:52 - Instant fire kill exploit. This is hard to explain. If you shoot the Molotov directly while Cassidy is in this position, there will be a 6-7 second long fire animation, as shown here: youtu.be/_TxyjRDYnmE
But if you shoot somewhere nearby and Cassidy hears, then it becomes an instant fire kill instead.
NOTE: This is not a free or consistent kill. It all depends on distance between target and Molotov. Too far apart and you get slow fire animation, too close and you may kill Cassidy's guard. Suffice to say, there is a reason I waited until 56s IGT on both the Suburb Sign and BBQ start runs to ignite the Molotov, too soon or too late and it won't work.
There are a variety of other ways to trigger instant fire kill, such as tranq, muffin throw to head, body shot, etc. I plan on making a comprehensive video in the near future, stay tuned.

0:19, 0:53, 3:10, 3:46 - Wait for guards to turn around / run away before you move.
1:00, 3:51 - use stored shot (tap left mouse button while in Instinct, press right mouse button when out of Instinct). Guarantees you will shoot the guard in the back fast enough without getting combat.
1:43, 4:36 - Wait for guard to turn (don't have to wait until salute). Wait half a second after throw before moving.
2:10 (only for Pro version) - Throw object to distract woman NPC. This will guarantee the guard up ahead will not call into radio. (Since you have to walk on Master difficulty it's not worth doing this on Master, you will be too late for the guard's right headturn).
2:15, 5:09 - Swap shoulder, run into corner between bench and door.
Aim a bit right of the far door. Keep aim button (right mouse button) held down, then press Pause (Esc).
While paused, press and hold shoot button too (left mouse button.
At this time the game should still be paused and your aim and shoot buttons should be both held down. Swipe your mouse horizontally across the desk and unpause game while you are still moving your mouse across the desk. Pause the game again afterwards to stop excess bullet spray.
This guarantees that the second / third /etc. shots from the SMG will hit the door and will not be heard by the guard.
5:24 (Master Only)
If the guard doesn't call into radio, you need to wait for the guard to turn right, then left, then look straight again, at which point you can go forwards. See: youtu.be/RoJH_2VvSkc?t=28s
Also, it's a good idea at this point to close the door behind you, I got caught like once that way by guard behind me on Master.
2:33, 5:33
Correct inputs here are Inventory, Interact (G), Space, Inventory. Swiping your mouse here so the camera is turned 180 degrees also makes the turn more clean.

Learned strategy from Fri3ndlyFir3, mkSolas:
youtube.com/watch?v=g1S_OpEmxoA
youtube.com/watch?v=HSLmeaiQj_Q
Main strategy improvement from me will be the final kill at 2:24. Shoot three times to make the final target's buddy run towards you and not find the body.
The run is capped by the speed of the fourth target (2:05). You need to get him to chase you as soon as possible, but too soon and he will alert another bystander and make you lose SA permanently. Killing the fourth target as soon as possible lets you kill the final target faster too (final target's cycle is triggered by your proximity).
PS: This pistol sucks!
Strategy optimized by 7 seconds from MrKakoss's run: youtu.be/paPl2_G1xlo
I don't think MrKakoss discovered the first person glitch but his setup was the most reliable I have found, so thanks. It made the first kill much easier.
Note: This doesn't automatically make the pistol snipe easy, the pistol itself is still inaccurate and it's a moving headshot. I'd estimate my success rate at 20%. Still helps though a lot.
First Person / Zoomed in Pistol Glitch Instructions:
Equip camera, press "use camera button" (right mouse button on PC), zoom in (optional, default PC keybind is x).
Keep your "use camera button" held down, and then press pause button (Esc on PC).
Now let go of "use camera button".
Tap the "use camera button" again (very brief tap, duration matters), and that's it. You are now in first person.
IMPORTANT: Make sure to leave first person mode (by equipping camera and tapping on aim camera again) before you restart the mission, or else you will crash.

It looks like I lost a lot of time finding the lineup for the electric lamp to kill Noel, but since I am waiting for a certain guard to walk by in the cavern later anyways, it's not really a timeloss.

Stadia Contract ID: 1-10-4527718-80
PC (Epic) Contract ID: 1-10-3129137-41 (I only used this for practice)
In the interest of fair playing field, a Stadia State Share was used, which basically just means that all players can play the contract even if they haven't unlocked any items.
However, Stadia State Share also enforces a specific starting location and loadout, making the contract a lot more linear.
In this case, the starting location was the Hokkaido Restaurant and the loadout was ICA19, Lethal Poison Syringe, Key Hacker, Sieker-1 smuggled into restaurant restroom (which I didn't use).
More details on the competition: stadiadosage.com/cloud-gaming-championships-week-1-challenge
I did get a 1:13 on PC, which is partially due to the PC version having less input delay and lag, and partially due to the NPC's not falling over from bodyshots on PC compared to Stadia. Lower frame rate like on Stadia = more likely to fall for NPC to fall down. NPC falling down caused the second target's buddy to panic slower and I lost a second or two from that.
1:13 run on PC: youtu.be/tLRJbEA2MGg
I didn't spent that much time on this, just picked three disguises and methods that seemed easy to work with.
Methods I Chose:
Maelstrom - Holy Man + Beak Staff
Vanya - Metal Worker + Metal Lethal Melee (Screwdriver)
Dawood - Lead Actor + Fall
There was a healthy amount of RNG in how both Vanya and Dawood guards move so I'm satisfied with this. Was hesitant at the end, but I guess only Dawood compromised me, so killing Dawood gave me SA again.
I did a previous run with snail as well although it was slower: youtu.be/nVeEaP-RzRM
Fun fact: My wifi upload speed is so bad at my house, and I didn't have much time to upload this before the mini comp deadline, so this video was uploaded from Starbucks.
First run was played blind, this run I watched other people's runs for inspiration.
In particular, thanks to slime-y (bilibili.com/video/BV12v4y1M7hX) for inspiration on first kill.
A bullet distraction is needed after killing the second target, or else the second target's body will be found later. However, there is a quirk in the game that if you equip an item right after fiberwiring someone, the next time you perform an agility action (such as jumping down the hole into the water), you will equip the fiberwire again. To prevent that from happening, I drop and pick up fiberwire.
I shoot a specific part of the floor after jumping down the hole into the water, to lure the 4th target under the walkway.
I ring the phone after running by Ljudmilla Vetrova and her guard, so that Vetrova's guard spots me with a sniper rifle on my back, which instantly panics the guard ("legacy guard behavior"). This makes Vetrova and her guard run to another location, so that Vetrova can't spot 4th target's body.
The third target is killed by shooting her in the back so she falls into the pool, which counts as a "drowning" kill.
For the Carl kill you want to shoot at this exact corner to distract the guard, kill Marcus, then shoot two more times to lure the guard to you. The timing is tricky.
The Marcus kill timing is a bit strange, it seems random but it is also affected by your proximity. Go near him too soon, and Marcus will talk to his guard and not walk under the hanging light for a long time.
Using camera in the vent saves about 7 seconds, this was known about for a long time, but it was the main time save needed to beat ShinyKD's run (bilibili.com/video/av628763592?zw)

First time getting past that guard at the end while he is on the stairs, definitely some insane luck there.
Shoutouts to Moo(youtu.be/EfANY3ROWzo) and Tsta for some ideas.

[Run Commentary]
For first target kill I wanted to highlight knocking him down with muffin before shuriken throw, this prevent body found (sometimes). Normally, the glass in front of this NPC is transparent and the body is found. Dropping the shuriken later prevented an NPC from finding the body (due to the way this NPC ragdolls, the shuriken throw is counted as a frontal throw (hitting the front of the NPC face), which attracts NPC's from farther away than a throw from behind).
1:14 possible if you grind for no-voiceline RNG on second target.
0:52 Play again to show added camera at end, Marcus guard
Watch more cutscene to evade camera, add a shot to ceiling to delay Marcus guard.
The ceiling shot isn't even necessary; there is sweet spot between too little cutscene (seen by camera) and too much cutscene (Marcus found).
The ceiling shot just removes any kind of uncertainty about Marcus getting found.

0:00 How you should do it after practicing
0:18 Slowed down version to help with learning how to do it
Throw muffin at about the third or fourth step as shown, it is also helpful to wait half a second before running over it.
Run off the cliff at a very sharp angle between your trajectory and the cliff face near the bush, as shown: media.discordapp.net/attachments/833505136290299935/947654010343661638/unknown.png?width=1120&height=586
If this angle is too wide, you will fall in water.
If you are beginner, you can start by walking slowly off the cliff as shown in the second half of the video.
Soon after dropping down the cliff, you want to crouch and then aim into the cliff face, while still moving to the right. This prevents getting stuck on any stalactites. (With additional practice at getting the right angle running down the cliff, you can skip this step).
After this, just run forwards. Hug the cliff wall on the left as best you can.
FURTHER IMPROVEMENTS
There are further timesaves possible, such as gunsliding down the cliff and skipping aiming into the cliff wall.
More explanation of gunslide:
Equip pistol as early as possible after throwing muffin.
Press shoot button (mouse 1 on PC) while crouched and running backwards down cliff.
Drop and pick pistol back up for maximum time save (otherwise you can just holster the weapon).
This will save about a second over just running down if done correctly.
Slower version of gunslide for illustration: youtu.be/lY_H8qsDZYw
Moo's faster version: youtu.be/l5xo6fOUSq0?t=37
Should be full game suitable with some more playtesting.
Had a lot of trouble getting spotted going down stairs of consulate, finally caved in and just used the snail.

The Headmaster kill is inspired by KkennyZZ: youtu.be/IZaVhv1QlBQ

Professional Difficulty Version: youtu.be/PXzq6EfV3Cc
Changes from pro: There are more guards around Cassidy's house on Master, so I used both Kalmer darts here. And took the long way out of Janus's house. There may be a better way to do the Cassidy section.
Disclaimer: Even if you follow the below directions exactly, it may still fail occasionally due to slightly incorrect inputs, randomness, etc. Haven NPC viewcones can be quite deceptive.
Still, I was able to make this work about 80 or 90% of the time, and this at least removes any RNG from the Ljudmilla kill (Tyson can still go wrong).
Strat will work on both Pro or Master. For Pro, you can also consider moodehh's faster but trickier version: youtu.be/hy3RdejHoUg
Directions
Custom 5mm pistol (Hokkaido mastery), lethal poison syringe, and a non-Ghost/ Arctic Sieger 300 required.
0:13 Shoot at upper left pillows to lure guard out.
0:20 Make sure to shoot from the left of the waist high barrier as shown in video, to not be seen. Be careful with injecting Steven, make sure the "inject" prompt shows up so you don't punch him in the face instead.
0:39 Run all the way up against the wall, make sure right shoulder is aligned with seam on wall, as shown in picture: https://i.ibb.co/RBzVkhf/shot-setup-1.png
Unpack sniper rifle and stay crouched.
0:41 Aim just right of the palm leaf as shown in this picture: https://i.ibb.co/Qjj25wC/shot-setup-2.png
0:47 Next, wait 14 in game seconds (to be safe) after you shot the first shot, before you shoot the same spot again. I shot at 0:35 in-game time the first time, so now I shoot a second shot at 0:49. While waiting, it's a good idea to switch to the pistol. Staying with sniper in hands the whole 14 seconds can result in someone in the pool spotting you.
After the second shot, shoot the wall (helps to make sure you're not spotted) before repacking the sniper rifle.
1:14 When in the water, shoot the remaining 3 bullets out of your pistol, to make it empty. Then, shoot right below Ljudmilla's feet to lure her down, drop briefcase a bit left of the walkway above, shoot empty gun again to lure Ljudmilla's guard.
The briefcase drop is needed to lure Ljudmilla a bit farther out, if you just let her walk under the walkway she may not die when falling into water later. Luring the guard down as well with the empty pistol will make the guard act reliably; otherwise the guard will follow Ljudmilla at a somewhat random pace and may spot you while you are trying to kill Tyson.
Run to the left below the walkway and equip the pistol as shown to avoid being seen.
1:42 Shoot a bit above Tyson's head, to make him panic and stand up, then shoot him in head. This part is slightly random, but generally speaking, even if it takes several shots for Tyson to panic, the strat will still work assuming you did the lures at 0:40 correctly.
1:54 Shoot Ljudmilla in the back/ arm/ leg etc to kill her by fall accident. Make sure to shoot from far enough away; if you are too close the kill won't be an accident kill and you will lose SA.
Same as Frote7's original version (youtu.be/y7OIOxbG7cc), but changed Zoe kill to be more consistent with duck throw (can't get caught this way, unlike shooting with pistol). Make sure you throw duck from outside of room, throw at ceiling a bit in front of the chandelier as shown in video.
Better picture of where to throw duck for Zoe kill: https://i.ibb.co/DR00mZS/throwarea.png
Spam the detonate button to detonate it ASAP, to make it explode in mid-air and bring down chandelier without knocking out anyone.
Make sure to kill Sophia at 0:23 or later on in-game clock, too soon and it seems Zoe runs the wrong way (theory, needs more test).
Inspired to look at tweaking the strategy after seeing Yannini had trouble with it during Trilogy SA attempts.
Reflection Start version (8m8s) with no persistent shortcuts used (possible on a fresh copy of the game): youtu.be/zNCryVAVzNE?t=3m45s
Since the reflection cutscene is 3m38s, I could get about 4m30s from Laboratory start and without persistent shortcuts.
The main new idea here is at 1:50 (do some loud shots to bypass the guards). Make sure the guard has finished walking and is close to you as possible, this makes it more likely to work (but still random).
And then at 3:25, shoot this NPC in the distance to panic everyone (seems pretty consistent, assuming you hit this NPC).
This run was also performed on Geforce Now (trying it out), so that's why it's showing my PC gamertag and XP level at the end. On Geforce Now (or on an actual PC), the NPC's generally move on faster cycles than on Stadia.
