Crafty Meraki August Release and jibber-jabber CaCaCraft by Erica 2024-08-26 | Hi and welcome back to my channel! Today's video is a little all over the place, but the main star is the new release from Crafty Meraki. It's just a quick run-through of the stamps and diecuts, but I don't have the coordinating Effortless Artistry Paper packs as I was already 11lbs/5kgs overweight on the way back from the US. And that was with a whole extra suitcase too! Altenew Diecutting Fun with just ONE diecut for two different looks! CaCaCraft by Erica 2024-06-08 | I had so much fin with this diecut, Streamlined Sprig, from Altenew!! It's a small, but mighty set for sure! I did hit a few little snags, but learnt a few things along the way so it's all good. Hopefully you will watch this and see what to look out for and how to avoid what I feel is a bit of a design let-down. I think that card could be better, in all honesty, but you live and learn. Some these products are a bit special to me as well. If you haven't heard of the Effortless Artistry Paper (EAP) it's pre-coloured stamp images that perfectly match their coordinating stamps and diecuts, and I am one of the people who have spent hours and hours colouring these to perfection to save you doing it! Unless you love colouring, of course. Then the stamps will be for you. The EAP's are absolutely brilliant when you are in a pinch to make a card fast, or have lots and lots of them to make but very little time. Thank you for your patience while I've taken some personal time to focus on myself and my mental health. It's been a bit of a tough time recently, with kind of everything hitting me at once and I had to take a step back and process. This last year has been incredibly hard and difficult, there has been so many HUGE life changes happening in a really short amount of time and there hasn't been time to actually stop and sit with those feelings. Life Update, upcoming house move, dog surgery and craftytation with Crafty Meraki! CaCaCraft by Erica 2022-10-17 | Hi and welcome back to my channel!I know it's been a while, but man... life is going at 100 miles per hour here! We are moving house in about five weeks and there is so much to do, which is not always easy when I only speak 'muy terrible' Spanish still. Plus Gem-Gem had surgery for her benign tumours last week, and while she's been a better patient than Mar-Mar was, it was still a quite big surgery. She's ok though, and that's the most important part.I have been working hard here to get ahead on all my deadlines and commitments, in the time when I will not have a craft room, so it's been extra busy! This latest release from Crafty Meraki is no exception, and it's possible I have gone a bit overboard but I found it so relaxing to diecut a lot of pieces and then puzzle them together. I even coined a new word for this : Craftytation! Which is meditation plus crafting!
