Diagnosing and Fixing String Buzz on Your Acoustic Guitar | ELIXIR Strings Elixir Strings 2022-06-23 | String buzz is a common problem with acoustic guitars. In this video, luthier Ron Ruggiero shows you how to diagnose and fix most causes of string buzz. If you are having problems with string buzz on your acoustic guitar, the solution is often something you can fix yourself. A dehumidified guitar can often have string buzz because the guitar top has essentially sunk and dropped the action of the neck. But if your guitar is properly humidified, the cause of string buzz can be tracked back to a number of things.
