From right to left Amerikan and Canadian plus Shinkansen.
We spot in the middle of nowhere next to a bussy highway. EnjoyChris Sawyer Locomotion - Christians game at The Lake Districtzimmlock2013-10-20 | Christian http://www.youtube.com/user/LocomotionPlayers is a frend of me and he asked me if i could make a clip of his game. Okay then here it is, he has build it in 180 years on my Lake District map, has 200+ trains running, and he did a good job, enjoy the round trip.Chris Sawyer Locomotion - How to run extreem long trainszimmlock2013-08-28 | In this clip you can see all you have to do to run extreem long trains. I play on the redone Soldier Summit map, as example we run a coal train with 54, 34ton coal hoppers and a caboose, its pulled by a Bigboy and a UP4-12-2 and mid train we have the same set, so 4 locomotives in total, i found out that long heavy trains run better with the locomotives spread over the train instead off having them at front. It depends on the weight of the locomotives, 8 K4 steam engines are no problem, but 4 Bigboys ll not do it, unless you spread them over the train.
Normaly you cant put a train this long on the tracks, so in have build a underground "set-up" track, as you can see its fairly twisted and much longer then the train, on this set-up track the game allows only one spot to put the train on the track, if you do the same but you still cant put your train on the track your set-up track is not long or twisted enough.
Then i show what happens if a train like this gets on a strait track, it ll stall, running at 0 km/h. So this means that you have to build you track system in a way that there is no strait track longer than 28 tiles, it ll do 30 tile but with pain, i only use 30 tile at stations. This doesnt count for diagonal layed track, that can be as long as the train is.
After our train is loaded we ll follow it over soldier summit to its destination at Provo steelmill. Its not making any profit due to the long travel time. During the ride you ll have a clear view on how i build the system to handle these trains.
Have funChris Sawyer Locomotion - A tribute to the Mumbai suburban railwayszimmlock2013-08-04 | Inspired by this documentairy youtube.com/watch?v=9fIuMzQwGJ8&list=FLjYTLV7Kl1JSK6ZsaTqBUPw&index=8 i made this map and i would like thank Tattoo for making the Mumbai Central Railway trains, the music i have extracted from the documantairy.Chris Sawyer Locomotion - No MOD at the Lake District 05zimmlock2013-05-04 | Time to make the first Oil lineChris Sawyer Locomotion - No MOD at the Lake District 04zimmlock2013-04-18 | The Ironore mine at Deltona peaks in its production and the trains cant keep up, resulting in a zero transportation of coal from the Coalmine at the combined stations. In this clip i reconstruct the stations allowing one train at each to full load coal only without interrupting the on going traffic.Chris Sawyer Locomotion - No MOD at the Lake District 03zimmlock2013-04-06 | Construction work continous, connect the Farm at Tavares to the system, add more tracks to the system and due to the increased traffic modify the unload station at Blackwater, lower the bridge at a junction so the trains do not drop to much of there speed and climb over it more easy if stopped. And sure lot of waypoint changing.Chris Sawyer Locomotion - Trouble shooting at The Serpent Reloadedzimmlock2013-04-01 | The insert of the short Scrap and Steel trains in to the mainline causes to much delay, this junction is the most critical on the map. Untill now i didnt see a solution.Chris Sawyer Locomotion - No MOD at the Lake District 02zimmlock2013-04-01 | Due to increased traffic i have to reconstruct tracks at Tavares Woods Station, the reconstruction went well, but i got a little trapped with the rerouting of the trainsChris Sawyer Locomotion - No MOD at the Lake District 01zimmlock2013-03-31 | For a change i test play my Lake District map with no MOD's except for the Boundary poles, they restrict building over the water, and have restricted my self to build stations maximum 12 tiles long. In this clip i connect the second Chemical plant to the system and make some changes to a combined Coal and Iron ore station.
Lol looking back i see i forgot to "activate" one chemicals train.
