A Day in the Life of a College Game Developer Welton King 2019-10-12 | It's hard being a student and a game developer at the same time.And I didn't even mention YouTube - sheesh!I'm 20 years old currently pursuing a BBA in Finance at the University of North Texas while I develop video games on Steam (I have three published as of the date this video was uploaded) and make YouTube videos every Monday and Friday for beautiful chumps like yourself!In this video I show you the routine I go through on Tuesdays and Thursdays in my college life.Don't worry, my Mondays, Wendesdays, and Fridays have a little - just a little - more slack.I struggle to maintain a balance between my work, academic, and social lives.Even still, I make it a point to get a healthy amount of sleep and I try my best to remember to eat!Nothing is worth sacrificing your physical or mental health.Make sure to take care of yourself and drink lots of water!On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the first thing I do is brush my teeth and get dressed for the day.Once I've caught up with what's new in the business world I rush down stairs to the mess hall where I eat my breakfast!After I can't eat anymore, I start my 20 minute trek to campus across the highway in order to make it to my first class at 0800All my classes are in the BLB where I spend most of my time as a college student - the business leadership building.I'm in classes up until 1220 and then I typically hang out with my friends from the fraternity for a bit before heading back.I usually get back to my room around 1300 and then I eat lunch and get to work on the game!Then I have to make sure I'm back on campus by 1600 for my clubs and organizations.Even after that, I have to get ready for intramural volleyball game with my fraternity at 2030.Finally, once all is said in done, I'm back at my dorm around 2200 where I can decompress and unwind with some anime!I brush my teeth one last time, change into some comfortable pajamas, and throw myself into bed - ready to fall asleep.It's a pretty nonstop set of days!!Ultimately, my friends and family are the people who help me get through my busy lifestyle with my sanity in tact.I'm immeasurably grateful for them all.And I'm immeasurably grateful for everyone who continues to watch and support my passions.Thank you all so muchS T A Y W O N D E R F U L U w U====================================================Music:Jai Wolf - This Song Reminds Me Of Youopen.spotify.com/track/2gmhlNXdqrbqmlpps8qTsc?si=_BAuh-WPR1yWGj00DaraugJai Wolf - Lose My Mind (feat.
