#LoopHero #ingeniousclown #RogueliteGunslinger Gunslinger, fetch me - [#2] Rogue Legacy 2: The Arcane Hallows Update Gameplayingeniousclown Lets Plays2021-03-01 | Which relic, and such, should I pick this time?
Rogue Legacy 2 is what you'd get if you mashed Rogue Legacy and a sequel together. Every time you die, your children will succeed you, and each child is unique. Your daughter might be a Colourblind Archer, and your son could be a Pacifistic Chef. Either way, one of them is getting conscripted.
Rogue Legacy is back! But now it's got a 2 in front of it!
Rogue Legacy 2 is a genealogical rogue-LITE. That means it has all the trappings of a typical rogue-like (randomized runs, changing characters, and more), but with persistent upgrades, and persistent dead heirs. In this game, your legacy defines you. Spend your parents’ inheritance and grow the family manor to give your children a better fighting chance. Each child is unique, with their own traits and abilities. Your daughter could be an archer. She could also be a Vegan. Rogue Legacy 2 also lets you play how you want to. Go hard and fast, and you can dive deeper into the depths of a randomly-generated world. Or take it slow and steady, and build your character up until you’re ready for greater challenges.
Haven’t played the first one? In that case, here's what (the original) Rogue Legacy IS ALL ABOUT:
An adventure that takes place in a randomly generated world. The entire kingdom changes with every life, so no two runs are the same. Rogue-LITE. This is not your average roguelike because even in death, not all is lost. Instead, you can build your manor, improve your legacy through an in-depth skill tree, and make each child stronger than the last. The game can be beaten at level 1, but that doesn't mean it has to.
Every heir is unique. Some might have Synethesia, where sounds can be perceived as colours, others might be contrary pacifists, and some could just be a little chubby.
Equip your heroes with powerful weaponry and armor. Or gain new abilities like flight, dash, and air jumping.
Clowns.
That’s fine and dandy, but what about the sequel? Here’s what’s NEW with Rogue Legacy TWO:
Brand New Style
We’re taking a whole new artistic approach to Rogue Legacy 2. The sequel features 2.5D stylings, with 3D characters against hand-drawn backdrops. The art uses heavy shading and all animations are done using stepping techniques to keep the familiar RL look and feel.
Unique Weapons
On top of new abilities, classes now have weapons that completely alter how they play. Rangers use bows, Lancers have multi-directional swings, and chefs throws ladles.
Revamped Biome Generation
We went all-out with biome generation to make each area in RL2 feel completely new. Each biome adopts different “build strategies” to create completely unique yet-still-randomly-generated regions.
True Metroidvania
To really push the metroidvania flair, RL2 introduces heirlooms: special items that permanently give your heroes new abilities that fully reveal the world’s secrets. These are not basic lock-in-key abilities, but powers that fundamentally change how you play. And heirlooms are not simply handed to you. You must prove your worth, provided you can find them.
Traits 2.0
Through the powers of Socialism we’re bringing in the Universal Healthcare System, which adds a gold gain modifier to some traits. The more debilitating the trait is (in-game), the bigger the reward. This makes choosing your heirs a meaningful decision every time.
Improved Accessibility
RL1 was always designed for accessibility, by catering to both the hardcore players through skilled gameplay, and the more casual with a detailed level up system. However, in some cases progression could still hit a wall, so we’ve introduced new mechanics such as Off-shore Banking to give struggling players more ways to succeed.
More of everything
Of course we’re also adding more of everything people loved from the original Rogue Legacy. More traits, more spells, more classes, more biomes, more enemies, more equipment, more rooms, more story. Just more everything.
Clownathropy More clown.
AND THERE'S A WHOLE LOT MORE. But we're still working on them through Early Access, and we'd like to keep a few secrets in our back pocket. :)
Early Access may be temporary, but Rogue Legacy is forever!

#HollowKnight #ingeniousclown #MetroidvaniaEvil Villainy Simulator?! - Ruinarchingeniousclown Lets Plays2021-01-20 | Ruinarch is an evil overlord simulator with a focus on story generation. Take control of the narrative by spreading rumors, unleashing monsters, and creating chaos on an epic scale!
Ruinarch is a simulation sandbox game where you create obstacles and cause conflicts in procedurally generated fantasy worlds. Inspired by story generator games like Rimworld and Dwarf Fortress, weaving tales of both anguish and humor is central to Ruinarch’s gameplay. The game gives you all the infernal tools you'll need to toy with people's lives and relationships.
There are many ways to be evil. Choose from three overlord Archetypes - each one provides you with a different playstyle. Do you want to focus on sheer destruction or are you into a more subtle puppetmaster approach? You can then customize it further by adding optional abilities to suit your own preferences. You can experiment by combining destructive spells. The most straightforward way to wipe out villagers is to simply cast powerful spells like Meteors, Earthquakes, Fire Balls, Lightning and more. But what happens when you hurl a meteor at a poisonous puddle? Poisonous meteor explosions, that's what! And that's just one of the many nefarious ways that you can combine elemental interactions to create your personalized cocktail of destruction!
You can activate artifacts. Sometimes, the procedurally generated world will have some powerful artifacts for you to play with. If you find a Necronomicon, gift it to an evil villager to turn him into a Necromancer and let him terrorize the villagers himself. But be careful because some artifacts can also be used against you! You can afflict villagers with flaws. Sure, you could just destroy the world with ice and fire, but the real fun begins when you meddle with villager lives to put them into compelling and tragic situations! Afflict the local hero with Lycanthropy and watch as his once loyal friends turn on him when the full moon rises. Afflict an annoying husband with Unfaithfulness and then watch the fireworks once you tell his wife of his misdeeds.
You can breed and spawn monsters. You can seize a roaming monster and then breed it in your Kennel. This will allow you to summon a copy of it anywhere in the world. Your corrupted versions behave differently from their wild counterparts as they have been bred to perform very specific functions. You can spread malicious info. Your Eye Structure allows you to gather information about major events that occur in the world. You've seen a Knight steal a Shaman's Potion? Store it as an Intel and then tell the Shaman about it!
You can summon lesser demons. There are many demons in the netherworld ready to assist you. Wrath Demons can be used to invade villages while Sloth Demons can defend your demonic structures. In total, there are seven different demon types - each one representing a deadly sin. But be wary! Once they perish, you have to wait until they fully recuperate before summoning again. You can brainwash folks into becoming cultists. Seize a villager and drop it on your Defiler. There, you can start to brainwash it. If successful, it will return to its village as a secret cultist who will quietly worship and aid you.
You can torture people. You can build a Prison and incarcerate villagers. If necessary, you can torture them in ridiculous ways to afflict them with random flaws. Perhaps someone will have a mental breakdown and become a Serial Killer when it gets back to its village? You can start a zombie apocalypse. You can afflict a peasant with a Zombie Virus. When it dies, it will reanimate at nightfall as a Zombie. Other villagers that it attacks may also contract the virus. Soon, the entire village will be filled with nothing but shambling zombies.
You can start an epidemic. Too soon? But, yes you can.

#SuperDRAMWorld #ingeniousclown #KaizoMarioLAMP or Brute Force? - [#6] Super Metroid + A Link to the Past Randomizeringeniousclown Lets Plays2021-01-15 | This randomizer mixes Super Metroid and A Link to the Past together into one experience and will randomize both games items to any location in either game creating a new kind of multi-game challenge.
Travel between the two game can be done by using certain doors and entrances in either game
What is this randomizer The Super Metroid and A Link to the Past Crossover Randomizer is an item randomizer that combines Super Metroid and A Link to the Past into one experience and shuffles all the items and spreads the out in random locations in any of the games.
Travel between the games is possible through the use of four cross-game portals spread out in the games in certain doors and entrances.
The game starts out in Super Metroid right after Samus' ship has landed on Zebes, and from this point there's the option to head further down into Super Metroid, or head to the first available cross-game portal. This portal is found in the door that normally would head to the Crateria Map Station, but this will instead take you outside the fortune teller's house south of Link's house in Hyrule.
These are the four cross-game portals in the game:
Lake Hylia Fortune Teller ⇔ Crateria Map Room Back of Old Man Cave ⇔ Norfair Map Room Dark World Ice Rod Right ⇔ Maridia Missile Refill Misery Mire Right Shed ⇔ Golden Torizo Energy Refill The goal is to defeat both Mother Brain in Super Metroid and Ganon in A Link to the Past, and after defeating the second final boss it is possible to end the game and reach the credits. After defeating the first final boss you will still retain access to the game where you killed the boss, in case there are some items left to be found to complete the other game.
Being familiar with the regular A Link to the Past Randomizer and Super Metroid Randomizer is a great benefit for playing this randomizer.
For more information and useful links to helpful resources, visit the Resources page.
Quick guide to getting started To create a new randomized game, head over to the Generate Randomizer Game page.

After doing so you will be redirected to the "permalink" page where you need to select your original Super Metroid and A Link to the Past (Japanese 1.0) ROM's to continue. There's also a few extra customization settings that can be done here such as changing the sprites of Samus and Link as well as some other options. When you're happy with the options, hit Download ROM and you'll get a new ROM that you can play with an emulator or SD2SNES. If you didn't select the Race ROM option, there will also be a Playthrough section that will list the items and their locations in case you get stuck and need some hints.
Game generation options These options are available when generating a new game.
Super Metroid Logic This option selects what kind of logic to use for item placement inside Super Metroid.

You'll want to be somewhat of a Super Metroid veteran for this logic. Required moves include (in addition to anything in Normal logic) for example:
Mockballs Short charging Suitless underwater navigation Continuous wall jumps Forced heat damage Advanced damage boosting Clipping through certain blocks using enemies and more... Goal This option currently only has the Defeat Ganon and Mother Brain option, but will be expanded in the future to include other goals.
First Sword This option decides where the first sword will be placed.
Randomized - The sword can be placed anywhere. Early - The sword will be placed in a location accessible from the start of the game. Unce assured - The sword will always be placed on Link's Uncle. Morph Ball This option decides where the morph ball will be placed.

Studies claim fun has increased by 200%! - Loads of secrets for those who explore a little deeper...
Special thanks to Nexus15, Freakin_HA, HmWhyNot, ChrisG___, White_Moth, Hiro_sofT, DanTheVP, LadiesMan217 and Kaizoman for all of their assistance, patience and hard work in helping me to make this hack a reality. This game wouldn't exist without them.
Current version: 1.2 - fixes an invisible net climbing glitch in level 7 - removes one invisible coin block in the last special world level - renames level 6 to the correct name
Previous versions: 1.1 - An easier lava dolphin room in level 5.

#Invictus #ingeniousclown #KaizoMarioWhat do I NEED FIRST?! - [#2] Super Metroid + A Link to the Past Randomizeringeniousclown Lets Plays2020-12-30 | This randomizer mixes Super Metroid and A Link to the Past together into one experience and will randomize both games items to any location in either game creating a new kind of multi-game challenge.

Quick guide to getting started To create a new randomized game, head over to the Generate Randomizer Game page.
Select the options you want to use for the game, and then press Generate Game to generate a new game.
Normal - Normal logic includes only what Super Metroid teaches players itself. Anything that's not demonstrated in-game or by the intro cutscenes will not be required here. Required moves include for example:
Wall jumping (not including very precise ones) Shinesparks in any direction (short charging for these is not expected) Infinite Bomb Jumps Hard - Hard logic is based upon the "no major glitches" ruleset and includes most tricks that are considered minor glitches, with some restrictions.
Game Mode Picks the game mode you want:
Single player - Regular single player game. Multiworld - Creates a co-op multiplayer multiworld session and requires additional entry of player count and player names. Customization Options These options are entered after game generation and are cosmetic or non gameplay-altering options only.
