Finding Truth
On Evolution 2| A State of Denial| Mutations & Selection vs Religious Narrative
updated
In this live PodCast, we will be discussing:
Can one be a "scientist" and have "have faith in God" in the same time?
Can you accept God as the creator while accepting the laws of Physics in the same time?
Can you accept origins according to scripture and still be scientific?
Well, atheism is pushing hard to say that Science has totally-eliminated the need of a Creator for the inception, progress. and maintenance of the universe and of life. They say that the laws of physics alone can explain everything we see helped by the effect of “billions of years” of time passing by.
The above disposition creates a drive for the oversimplification of the complex questions that underly existence, whether the existence of the universe, life, or consciousness.
A fake war has been created by the naturalistic current to call-out every criticism of the theories and hypotheses of origins as “God of the Gaps” attempts, resulting in a popular dichotomy between questioning incomplete/deficient science (like OOL, Evolution, Origins of the Universe, Origin of Humans) and being “scientific”.
It is with the advent of people like Dr. James Tour, who are well grounded in science, and have the courage needed to take it out to the open to set things right. The fact is that science does not know-it-all in terms of Origins, and does not even know the majority of it, and is even CLUELESS about Origin of Life to the extent that Abiogenesis as described in the literature is more like an imaginary story rather than a scientific narrative.
It is the case that as science advances more and more, and as scientists try to replicate origins in the lab, as we see more need for intricate design in each experiment that the prominence of design or random accidents is becoming more pronounced everyday! Meanwhile, the more the discovery we make, the more it becomes clear that the question of Origins is more complex than we ever thought.
I previously had an interview with Dr. Tour, here is a link for those who have not watched it: youtube.com/live/APsOYJSv2A8

What makes water so essential for life, and why not another substance?
And if it is only water that can support life, is it a coincidence or more?
Join me and Dr. Fuz Rana in this new episode to see obvious evidence of finetuning of this miraculous substance, Water! And marvel the magnificence of our creator in this new episode of Seeing God in Biology!
Join into this new episode, and put your questions in the comments, and we will answer them in an upcoming live Q&A.

Seeing God in Biology is a series of premiers and live Q&A's where Dr. Fuz Rana (a career Biochemist, and author of many books) discussed with me Ahmed Eshrah (Electronics and Communications Engineer, with an executive Information Systems career) the stunning design in living things manifesting itself at the molecular level, and how that is similar (yet way advanced) to designs in electronics and communication systems, lending itself to an obvious design case and day-by-day unveiling more about the wisdom of our creator, God almighty. We also ponder on how religion (Bible and Quran) and science, are consistent to unequivocally point to the all-wise creator.
The series addresses topics at the very frontier of scientific discovery, so it is even fun just to pick up the knowledge, and then ponder their implications.
Seeing God in Biology, is a weekly series airing Thursdays at 5pm GMT / 9am PST, followed by a live after-show at the top of the hour (or a little bit later if the primary show takes more than an hour). This is season 1, started 3rd of Feb 2022.

While ERV's have been sounded as good evidence for evolution (esp. common ancestry with Chimps) for a couple of decades. But as more scientific discovery continued to put facts on the table about what ERV's really are and what they do, the balance is tipping to the Creation narrative rather than Unguided Evolution!
Join is to hear the discussion with Dr. Fuz Rana on this exciting topic!

Why? because Humans where for epochs seen as the creature that "thinks"!
In this special episode, I discuss with Fuz hard questions about what sets humanity apart, in light of his expertise in Biochemistry and Anthropology, and my background in Electronics Engineering and Computer Programming.
We try to answer those questions:
1.a What is the distinction between Humans and other animals?
1.b. What sets a human being apart from a computer?
2. If AI is on the way to behave like humans, what makes AI not a human?
3.a. Believing: What gives humans the ability to "believe" in things?
3.b. Can AI just choose to believe?
4.a. Choice, Accountability and death: What does it mean to choose?
4.b. Can an AI be held accountable?
4.c. What is the effect of death to human condition?
5. The relationship: Is having a relationship with God an integral part of what humanity is?
6. The distinction again: Is being human a property of our biological being or a product of God's ordinance?

If DNA codes information and its machinery work to read and process this information, and we have made many analogies with computer systems, is it even possible to use DNA to create real life computers?
Well, it turns out that DNA can actually be used to construct computers!

About Dr. Fazale Rana:
Fuz earned a BS in chemistry with highest honors (West Virginia State College) and a PhD in chemistry with an emphasis in biochemistry (Ohio University). He pursued postdoctoral studies on cell membranes at the Universities of Virginia and Georgia and worked as a senior scientist in research and development at Procter & Gamble. Fuz has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, such as Biochemistry, Applied Spectroscopy, FEBS Letters, Journal of Microbiological Methods, and Journal of Chemical Education. He also holds two patents, authored a chapter on molecular convergence and intelligent design for The Nature of Nature, and cowrote a chapter on antimicrobial peptides for Biological and Synthetic Membranes. In addition, he has delivered numerous presentations at international scientific meetings.
Though Fuz initially ascribed to the evolutionary paradigm, he converted to Christianity after his graduate studies convinced him that creation best explains the elegance of biochemical systems. Today, Fuz writes and speaks extensively about evidence for creation emerging from biochemistry, genetics, human origins, and synthetic biology. He is the author of several books—including Humans 2.0, Thinking about Evolution, and Fit for a Purpose, among others—and countless articles. He has addressed audiences at over 500 universities, churches, and conferences around the world and delivered numerous presentations at international scientific meetings. Fuz has also made numerous media appearances on television, radio, and in print.

Finally, multiple proteins can come together to form subunits of a bigger protein complex which is the eventual product.
Not only the process is wonderful, but also the enzymes that help and guid the proteins through the process are themselves proteins... so, if you need proteins to fold proteins, how could this process evolve? Is there a solution to this chicken and egg problem.
Watch and ponder the wonderful creation of God in Biology.

Matt's debate: youtube.com/watch?v=393OWNV_HA0
Cliff made a comment on the Matt video that it can be explained by evolution, so I invite him to the channel to discuss it with him.
Cliff Bohm is a Ph.D. Student at Michigan State University. His research interests include general evolutionary theory and the evolution of cognition. Cliff works with digital representations of evolution, which make it possible to observe evolutionary processes in real-time.

In this episode we see how the RNA produce through transcription (and then splicing) would get out of the nucleus where it meets that wonderful factor production line called the Ribosome, which reads the codes and assembles the chain on beads which then wrap into a functioning protein, possibly later even getting assembled with other proteins into a big complex.
Watch the episode and ponder the greatness of creation of the body from the code.

After this debate I continued, in the form of a discussion, with David Wood, about the topic of the proper relationship between Muslims and Christians, here: youtu.be/a6OunqrFg9M
I have noticed that some are taking clips of this debate out of context, so I thought I would rather post the whole thing here.
For more debates like this, check out the debates playlist: youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7xE-WKb84pVWhuEcS24d5JEOBo2tY3PE

This comes after I have debated Davin on Modern Day Debate about Interpersonal Values in the Quran, and we talked about coming to his channel to "discuss" more, rather than debate.
David would has made a long career talking against Islam and defending his view that Muslims want to subjugate Christians. He has gone into many heated debates with Muslims about the matter. I think that there should be another mode of dialogue in which ideas are presented in an amicable way, instead of offense and counter-offense cycles that have been going for years.
Watch and let me know what you think.
Seeing God in Biology is back for the second season, where we continue our journey in the wonderful world of Central Dogma of Molecular Biology.
Since the topic is pretty rich and full of wonderful details, we split it on two parts, this is part #2 focusing on the transcription process in Eukaryotes (like animals and plants) which involves the amazing processes of excision and splicing.
It is highly recommended that you watch the previous episodes about the central dogma, which you can find here:
Central Dogma: youtube.com/live/v57VzCLdfvY?feature=share
DNA Replication: youtube.com/live/2SxrzwNCyAs?feature=share
And of-course be sure to have watched part 1 which addressed the fundamental process of Transcription in simpler cells (Prokaryotes).

I am also considering to make a live debate review about it...
In this Episode we hear Dr. AlTaie explaining his generalized argument for the existence of God derived from the principles of Daqiq AlKalam.
Buckle up, and enjoy this ride betraten philosophy and modern physics.

So, he asked me to debate him on the topic.
Culture Catz, Al, hosted the debate.
I am interested in the topic because I see that some Muslims and many Christians are pushed into the Flat Earth belief because they think that this is important for defending the Quran or Bible, which is not true.
Watch the debate and let me know your opinion.

Is it true that the Milkway is just another galaxy wandering the universe?
Is there any significance to the location of the Milkyway within the cosmos?
Is the solar system just another set of planets revolving around a random star?
Is there something special about our solar system location?
What about planet earth?
and what does all of this have to say about the God and what religion teaches?!
I go through the above with Dr. Hugh Ross who explains very recent amazing discoveries, with mutual reflections over Biblical and Quranic scriptures.

What is the relation between AlFatihah and Surat AlBakarah?
Is it true what the atheists say, that Allah has chosen for them to be atheists and that if he wills it they will just believe?!
What is the meaning of the two ayat about disbelievers in Surat albakarah which say that Allah sealed their heart and hearing?!
What is the meaning of the parable made about the fire and the blinded people?!

Does science and revelation come together to bring humanity to a more solid belief in God?
I ask Dr. Hugh Ross those questions, and we ponder on what the comparison of scientific research with statements in the Bible and the Quran will lead us!
