The fourth stage theme.
It's the Lunar Capital. For a particular reason, however, it's now a ghost town.
It's a song with a calm atmosphere, but on the contrary, it evokes an image of madness.
It's music more befitting the endgame of an RPG than a shooting game. Well, it is the endgame.
- ZUN@MusicRoom
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aside from having a calm atmosphere, the track also boast a sense of mystery. It certainly fits in with the story of the protagonists coming across an abandon Lunar Capital.
Also to say, I'm glad to finally hear a piano arrangement of this theme. Kudo's to Aka Kyuketsuki for making this arrangement ~

...
Pre-Battle themes are often overlooked by many arrangers, which is unfortunate as some of them are pretty nice to listen, particularly "The Mound Where the Flowers Reflect". While the piano arrangement is arranged to be played in an impossible manner, I'm glad that it at least received some form of attention.
Then again, many of us do hold down the CTRL button to skip the conversation.

Title: Desire Drive
Origin: Touhou 13 - Ten Desires // Stage 4 Theme
Arranger's Youtube Channel: youtube.com/user/Snake8Bit
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The fourth stage theme.
I made it a flowing song to completely switch away from the first half of the game.
It feels nice to rush through a narrow space at high speed.
This is okay in caves, but don't run in halls at school or in the work office.
Caves are nice. (You shouldn't run in a limestone cavern, either.)

I like this song quite a bit, I really do, but it doesn't really fit the character at all, does it (^^; Oh well. This song's loop is pretty long, but it's pretty repetitive. Let's see, but, aside from the bosses, isn't it the coolest of the seven characters' themes? (Especially the main part, and even the intro)

Aya Shameimaru's theme.
This is the short version of the theme to Bohemian Archive in Japanese Red. The original piece was a long six minutes, but such long battles in this game cannot happen, so I took the main section and looped it.
I imagined a wind god girl looking good playing the trumpet when I made this.
A world where feelings fly on the winds. This is the image I had in mind for Phantasmagoria of Flower View.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The third stage theme.
Cemeteries that appear in games- unless it’s a horror game- tends to make you imagine of a comical one. So there’s no meaning in making the music too dark and heavy too.
So I brushed it up with a comical feel as much as I can.
I can’t resist this nostalgic feeling (Personally too)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is the second stage theme.
In contrast with the first stage, this is a gloomy piece.
It combines both western and oriental styles; I think it has a nice feeling to it.
The boss is a gothic lolita, so the music turned out this way.
The transition from the mysterious intro to the chorus where your field of vision expands has a pretty good feeling to it.

Looking back at the description I wrote regarding track submissions, I didn't specifically state that it had to be piano only. So yes, I will also accept and introduce tracks aside from the piano genre as well.
With that said, here's TIFWhitney's take on Okuu's Theme ~

Title: Cahaya - An Upside-Down Kobito who Wandered Around in an Upside-Down Castle
Origin: Touhou 14 - Double Dealing Character // Stage 5 Theme

The stage 5 theme.
I made it a song with no real meaning besides feeling sad.
It has a sorrowful melody, but a light-hearted rhythm.
I feel like when this sort of song starts playing, you've entered the final part of the game.

Personal comment from 2013:
I really like the tone and feel that the track brings out. I also personally do like the way the background orchestration is used here, as I feel that it captures the loneliness/mysterious feeling that is presented within the original piece rather well. All in all, I enjoyed it.
Up till this day, I still feel the same way as I had back then.
Also to say, sorry for the delayed upload of this piece, GlassSkinned!!

Title: Reincarnation
Origin: Touhou 3 - Phantasmagoria of Dim. Dream // Mima's Theme
Arranger's channel :
http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBUnbIRfMw2jTWvzAUPtRyw
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
For those who don't know Mima, she was the last boss from the last game, Story of Eastern Wonderland. This time, she's not a boss or anything, just a normal character, so I tried not to make her theme song too badass... You know, I just don't get her personality at all. (Even though she's my own character *sweatdrop*) Well, what about the song. The melody for the main chorus part is very simple, but feels really nice... Doesn't it? (Maybe because it's simple?)

A short introduction regarding Marine Benefit:
Marine Benefit is a fan-made Touhou Game developed by "nekofia". The theme and gimmick of this game revolves around an ocean setting, that has suddenly appeared in Gensokyo, utilizing Hydrogen and Oxygen item pick-ups which grants the player Bombs and Extra Lives respectively. The story is as followed:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Suddenly, a lake in Gensokyo expands into a small, salty sea. Not happy with this turn of events, the heroine sets out to discover the incident's perpetrator.

Day 2 of the Animangaki event; Human and Youkai's alike gathered around the Touhou Corner to witness the beautiful array of danmaku created by the participants. As usual, the organizer of the PoFV Tourney is none other than Itamaru himself.
Similarly to the Hisoutensoku Tourney, the scoring system for this tourney adapts the Round Robin system. Participants are sorted out into groups, where they will pit their danmaku skills against one another within their respective group. Players are awarded 1 or 2 points depending on the number of successful wins made within the match, and finally, the top scorer in each group will put their mettle to the test to determine which among them has the fanciest, and most beautiful display of danmaku.
With that being said, take a spot under the cherry blossom and enjoy the beautiful danmaku ~

Animangaki is a 2-days anime / manga / game convention event which was organized by my University (Sunway University). Various entertainments such as Cosplay, Art, Band Performances, AMV competitions and the likes are found within this particular event, as you would in any other anime convention.
