Tomahawk lake is the largest member of the Minocqua chain. At 3400 acres, this is big water, and has a big fishery to match. It is located in Oneida county, in northern Wisconsin. You'll find muskies up to 50 inches long here. It has large walleye too, but at the time of my review, they are requesting that you don't target them. They are in the middle of a walleye restoration process. This lake is loaded with deep trenches, weed beds, rocks, and sand. It is a structure fisherman's dream!

Big Round Lake is located in Polk County Wisconsin. It is a medium sized at lake at 1,015 acres. You will primarily catch panfish and largemouth bass here. There are walleye, northern, and musky in here too, but don't expect to catch many of those. Most largemouth bass will fall in the 12-17 inch range.

I had a lot of fun designing and building this soundproof box. I think it turned out pretty good, and it will get the job done. If you have any improvement suggestions, please let me know! I will continue to refine this design until its the quietest box out there.
What I would really like to see is, ideas to make this box lighter and even more soundproof at the same time.

If your tent has some years on it, chances are the shock cord inside your tent poles has deteriorated. Lucky for you, its easy to replace. The repair kits are inexpensive, and anyone can do it.

It is Late September, so we didn't find many fish in the weed lines. Instead they all seemed to be out in the deeper water near the center of the lake. We ended up catching a bunch of small bluegills, a bass and a northern. I think this would be an excellent lake to try in the springtime.

Gull lake is located in Cass county, MN in the Brainerd Lakes Area. It is over 10,000 acres in size and has a max depth of 80 feet. It it listed as one of Minnesota's best lakes in the Minnesota Sportsman Guide Book. See it here: amzn.to/3XeWFz5
In my experience, it seems like no matter where you fish, you can catch small perch about 5 inches long. I also caught some monster sized rock bass! I wasn't expecting that. Most people seem to fish walleye here. I did catch a couple, but I thought I would see more. There were a few bass and northern pike in the mix too.
