48 HOUR SLEEPER TRAIN ADVENTURE! FROM LONDON, ENGLAND TO THE HIGHLANDS OF SCOTLAND! MR CARRINGTON Mr Carrington 2024-02-07 | Hi everyone! I'm back with a bucket list travel vlog, as I take you on the Caledonian Sleeper train from London Euston, England to Fort William in the Highlands of Scotland. Discover what it's like to travel in a Club and Classic Room, or a Seat on this iconic sleeper train as I take you on a 48 hour adventure. In Fort William we'll hike to the world famous Steall Falls, the second largest Waterfall in Scotland, which is a spectacular location in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and take the challenge of walking the wire rope bridge over the river. On the train journey we depart London to travel up through England, into the Scottish Highlands and pass through the most remote and highest train station in the United Kingdom, Corrour railway station - which is a location in the film Train Spotting. It was the Capital of Lanzarote until 1847. I visited on a Saturday, finding parking in the carpark in the centre of the town, near the market area. If you wish to visit on a Sunday you can also experience the famous Market, however expect the town to be much busier and more crowded. It would be worth checking the opening days and times of any museums you wish to visit, as a couple of them were closed on a Saturday.
