The movie, like De Vloek van de Ring, was shot during a two week summer vacation in the Drôme in France. The whole idea of the film, the script and most of its filming were done during these two weeks. The first version of the movie was finished back in the winter of 2008, but we weren't really satisfied with the result. Due to the fact that this project was way too ambitious for a two week vacation, the first version of the movie felt like a summary of its own. To make the storyline more complete and less vague, we decided to add some more scenes that would take place in the present. All of this ended up costing an additional 2,5 years in post-production. There were problems with a crashing external hard drive and the motivation to even finish the project faded away during these years. But Bob kept pushing, and in July 2011 the movie was finally finished.STORYLINE:It begins as a targeted search for an ancient and valuable stone, but soon it turns into a nightmare. The journey to find the stone does not flow out as smoothly as expected. Inexplicable events begin to occur and Naomi (Yvonne Narski), the new friend of Thomas (Nick Smolders) and Patrick (Bob Smolders), starts behaving stranger and stranger. It's a kind of simplified, modernised version of the Greek myth of Atlanta.Here's the story:Baby Atlanta was found by a group of hunters who took her in and raised her. At a young age Atlanta was warned by an oracle against marriage, claiming that she would marry and then be very unhappy. After this prediction Atlanta shuned men and devoted herself to hunting.Atlanta became an exceptionally skilled hunter. After some time Atlanta said that any man who wished to marry her would have to beat her in a race. If he won he would receive her hand in marriage, if he lost Atlanta would kill him. Many suitors raced her unsuccessfully and lost their lives.Eventually, Hippomenes fell in love with Atlanta and decided he must race her. Atlanta, who became fond of Hippomenes when she first saw him, agreed to the race. Hippomenes prayed to Aphrodite to help him in the race, and she answered by giving him three golden apples. Each time Atlanta ran ahead of Hippomenes he threw one of the apples to distract her, and with this method he was able to beat her.The couple was then happily married... One last time... A trip to Frankenfell Bonic Studios 2012-01-17 | I got all emotional and nostalgic by playing this very old mod for Morrowind me and my brother worked on between 2004-2005. The project was never finished, but still has a special place in my heart. The project never had a proper trailer with moving images (just screenshots) or pimped up Morrowind graphics with far view distance.
