1988 Yugo GV Sat For 30 Years The NZ Yugo 2020-07-01 | This car recently sold on Ebay and had sat in a barn since almost new. Just shy of 7000 miles on the clock. Original tool and bulb kit are with the car aswell as jack and spare rim. Two 1991 Yugo GV Plus Automatics! The NZ Yugo 2019-11-19 | These two are currently for sale on Craigslist. Both virtually brand new cars. The white one has 115 miles and the blue one just 100. A very rare opportunity with less than 500 automatics being sold in the States. I do appreciate the patience at the moment. 1988 Yugo GV With 468 Miles! The NZ Yugo 2019-04-30 | This is an absolute time piece, like walking straight back into 1988. Only 468 original miles on the odometer. It is believed to have been parked up after a very short period on the road, due to this it is in incredible condition. Obviously all the fluids, hoses and belts would need to be replaced due to the long period of sitting. It also comes with a junker parts car. I do think it's a beautiful car but it definitely doesn't carry the $9000 price tag the owners are asking. Please note Zastava & Yugo Cars is no longer on Facebook due to lack of page use. Who needs second gear anyway? The NZ Yugo 2019-04-25 | Apologies about the lack of uploads lately. I've been busy with work and study. Also due to lack of use I have deleted the Zastava & Yugo Cars Facebook page. Any questions or enquiries can be left in the comments section anyway. So some backstory, a couple weeks ago after getting through some traffic on the motorway, the clutch pedal fell to the floor, the pedal was then loosely flopping around. I got the car towed to my mechanic who said it was a snapped clutch cable. They replaced this and I got the car back. 4 days later and about 100kms later I was going through a car park in first and could not shift to second ie the shifter was stuck in first. I managed to get it into neutral after turning the car off. So basically the car would not shift into gear when running/driving. The car is now at the mechanics for round two of repairs. Also I have now created a Instagram page for my 1989 Yugo 55A. This is @thenewzealandyugo. This is where I will post car show/road trip pics and mechanical status updates. Overall very tidy car with 40,000 original miles in rare factory Nugget Gold. Unfortunately the plush GVS seats with stitched Yugo logo have seen better days, and the door pockets are in even worse state. Yugo-ing On a Tow Truck The NZ Yugo 2018-04-02 | Went for an outing in the Yugo yesterday, and on the way home the car just lost power suddenly and we came to a stop on the side of the motorway. She then refused to start. After getting the car home I ended up finding out the fuel pump had stopped working. After a strip down clean and adjustment the Yugo seems to be running fine again. My Yugo Now Has a Working Radio! The NZ Yugo 2018-02-08 | When I first got the car the radio worked but only with one speaker. I later discovered this was due to some mysteriously cut wires. Anyway I disconnected the radio and cleaned the console out and it sat disconnected for about a year and a half. Till today when I get a expert in to upgrade some of the wiring and connect it properly. Am thoughrly impressed with how it sounds actually. Thanks for watching. 2x 1991 Yugo GV Plus Automatic The NZ Yugo 2017-12-09 | These two were just recently sold to the current owner by the dealership they arrived at new. Due to this one has 300 and the other 14,000 miles. Believe it or not the dirty and slightly rough blue one has travelled 300 miles, not the immaculate red one. The Only Yugo In Australia! 1987 55A The NZ Yugo 2017-11-29 | Thanks to the owner Danijel for the photos - no it is not for sale! This was a prototype model of the Yugos that would of been sold in Australia. Unfortunately the importer went bankrupt before models started coming in to the country. The car has sat since 2003 so only has 17000 miles. It is currently going through a restoration.
