Special thanks to Antonio Pompò (youtube.com/channel/UC3uihDBokz4PpnstWo5ABUw) who was the first to discover them, helped me out on how to hear these sounds, and accepted my permission to upload them. Shout-outs also to XMikexSonicX (youtube.com/user/XMikexSonicX), had I not seen Antonio's comment in one of his videos, I would have never discovered such gem in the first place. In case you're unaware, XMikexSonicX uploaded a video that dwells on the Announcer voice clips for Tekken 4 (Arcade Version; Namco System 246), and it has a lot of interesting unused voice clips. So, to fully explain, these beta clips used to be on YouTube as a part of a video named "Tekken - Classic clips collection #2", which was uploaded by TripleLei sometime in 2007. According to the original video's description, the clips came from tekken.net (an old site, now Tekken Zaibatsu). Unfortunately, after several years, TripleLei's channel was taken down, although some of its videos have been reuploaded since then.
Now you're probably wondering, "Where and how did you grab these clips then?" There are two answers: Internet Archive - Wayback Machine and IGN. In regards to Wayback Machine, after trying it out on an old YouTube video which is currently marked as private (and it worked), I was curious if it would also work for such video, and lo and behold, it did. I couldn't find a way to download or extract the video within the Internet Archive, so the best way I did was to use a screen recorder. On the other hand, IGN has a lot of obscure videos in their site and some, if not most of them have made its way on IGN’s YouTube channel. Surprsingly enough, the beta clips that were found in such video are in the list of those obscure videos, although not all of them. I have absolutely NO CLUE why or how did these clips ended up at such place like IGN considering they originally came from a Tekken fansite, but this was quite a MIRACLE to say the least. You can just easily tell the difference between the ones at Internet Archive: Wayback Machine and IGN, which is the video quality.
As proof, here's the Internet Archive link: web.archive.org/web/20070307153106/http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fU5QUrOVOGA
And here are the IGN video links (website and YouTube channel):

Now that I have explained everything, it's time to point out some differences from the actual/final version by these set of clips:
- The most obvious difference is that the UI text font for “Round #/Tag Battle”, “Ready?”, “Stage #”, the time record, “Insert Coin/Credit/Free Play/Press Start”, “K.O./Perfect”, and “Wins #” are all lifted straight from Tekken 3.
- Instead of the Namco logo before the Attract Movie, “Namco Presents.” is shown, again, lifted from Tekken 3.
- The Attract Movie lacks the scene with Lee driving the Honda S2000. You would notice that the scenes with Jun and Nina are slightly extended, thus explaining the absence of Lee’s scene.
- In addition to that, the Attract Movie theme is slightly different in terms of instruments and notably, the presence of a robotic voice saying "The King of Iron Fist Tournament!"
- Some of the character hit effects are different from the final version: Jin has his blue lightning effect from Tekken 3 rather than the red one in the final version, Ganryu and Jun both have Jin’s hit effect (again, the one from Tekken 3), Baek uses Hwoarang’s hit effect, and Armor King uses King’s hit effect.
- Normally, when you do a Tag Combo, the red part of the character’s health bar depletes; its indication being that it flickers. Either due to the video compression/quality, when Tag Combos are pulled off in the beta clips, a chunk of the red part on the character’s health bar doesn’t deplete/flicker at all.
- Tiger is errorneously referred to as Eddy from his lifebar, whereas in the final version, he is correctly referred as such.
- In the beginning of the Jun/Law vs. Michelle/Lei clip, at the point where the announcer says “Tag Battle…FIGHT!”, the characters on screen don’t perform their intro pose unlike in the final version. Note how Jun and Michelle are briefly in their Tekken 2 fighting poses/stances before jumping into their actual fighting poses/stances.
- Usually, when a character gets K.O'd, the final blow would be repeated a few times before finally showing the “K.O.” text. In the early build, the word “Replay” would show up when this happens. The “Replay” text itself is, once again, lifted straight from Tekken 3.
So yeah, that’s all I can find. If there’s anything else different, please let me know. And while we’re at it, for those who do not know, I made a playlist months ago dedicated to early/beta footage of Tekken 4. Check it out while you can: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnetFKKGily9jPh7pIp7BhmfY4uewebFn
Thanks for reading and (belated) Happy New Year!
I strike again with another set of Killer Instinct Ultimates Alternate Endings! This time, it ain’t just for one character, but we’re going multiple! As you can see, this one consists of Mira, Sabrewulf, Hisako, and Glacius!
As always, don’t expect too much on what you are about to see. It’s something you may not expect. And I had put so much effort put into this, so please appreciate it and enjoy!

At first, when his Ultimate got revealed, I literally had no ideas nor plans to create such video. The things, I've been busy lately with other stuff. But thanks to ideas or suggestions brought out by others here in the official Killer Instinct Forums, I couldn't help but to feel motivated and inspired to do it. So yeah.
As usual, don't expect too much on what you are about to see. This was obviously made for fun and I had put a lot of effort to make this worthwhile as possible. Please appreciate and enjoy!

First of all, I used PSound. For those who don’t know, it’s an utility that can rip sounds from most PS1 games. PS2 games can also work, although the selection/compatibility seem limited. Now, when it comes to Tekken 4, PSound can only rip only a few sound clips, which you are hearing in this video. Also, for whatever reason in PSound, these sound clips are repeated.
So yeah. Not only character voices are in this, but I also threw in other sound clips that PSound managed to find.

After seeing a lot of Persona 5 meme videos, I couldn’t help but to give Killer Instinct such treatment. Hope you enjoy.
Also, did you know that Sadira’s voice actress is the same one who voiced Ann Takamiki, which is Erika Harlacher? Even the Battletoad himself Rash has the same voice actor of Yuuki Mishima, which is Sean Chiplock.
Want to know where I used the Persona 5 special effect from? Here: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm29926833

If ever you are going to use the effect in a video, make sure to put the aforementioned links above. The Persona 5 special effect isn’t made by me by the way, somebody else did. This way, it’s a form of respect to credit such effort made.

Originally, this video was going to have one alternate ending. But after sometime, as I kept on watching ARIA's Ultimate, I soon had two more ideas and ultimately integrated them here.
I also included something that should have been in the previous KI Ultimate Alternate Ending video as a bonus!
As I've said before, don’t expect too much on what you are about to see. It’s something you may not expect at all. It's just for fun and I had put so much effort put into this, so please appreciate it and enjoy!

Only Tekken 4 doesn’t have a Good Morning sound. I’ve checked videos of the arcade version’s boot-up, no Good Morning sound at all.
I’ve also thrown in Soul Calibur’s “Good Morning” sound as a bonus (in this case, “Welcome back to the stage of history!”), since it’s the only game in the Soul series that does such thing in its arcade version.
I apologize for the quality of the Good Morning sounds in Tekken 5, Tekken 5: DR, Tekken 6, and Tekken 6: BR. Those were the best ones I can find. If you’re wondering where did I all got these sounds from, here are the videos listed below. The Soul Calibur one was recorded by me.

ICQ still exists up to this day, but much of the flash greeting cards are no longer available in their site as of now. But with the Wayback Machine, I was able to track down these, allowing myself to record this short compilation. What is in the compilation are the ones I find it to be my favorite.
So there you have it folks. Hope you enjoy and experience the nostalgia!
