Trace pattern pieces on the back side of the fabric, cut them out on single layer, using a razor, or precision knife, cutting the back layer of the fabric only. WHY? -Cutting on the fold, with shears with have faux fur everywhere. Its gonna get everywhere anyway but this will help reduce it.2. Use wonder clips if you have them. WHY?- It will hold the layers together better especially if you have long pile faux fur. I did run out of clips and started using pins, so they do work but clips are better.3. Use a walking foot if you have it. You can absolutely use a regular zipper foot if that is what you have. Pin and baste your zipper in place the same way. SEW WITH ME: ZADIE JUMPSUIT: EASY SEW JUMPSUIT Brittany J Jones 2020-08-12 | Hey everybody! In todays video we are sewing along to the Zadie Jumpsuit! This is a pretty popular pattern in the sewing community. I'm happy I finally got around to sewing it! A few things to keep in mind, this pattern has a lot of ease in it. Depending on how you like your garments to fit, you may want to downsize a size or two and or make some modifications to your crotch curve. I will be using all the pattern pieces for View C and only omitting the elastic casing on the dress and doing rows of shirring instead. Make sure you check your notions and get the bias tape, elastic for the sleeves and bodice and elastic thread for the shirring.
