It is evident that this is a "filler" upload, from the remix idea down to the ridiculous visuals I aimlessly put up in under twenty minutes. However, be conscious that I continue to seethe about the state of Sonic Origins. When SEGA was indiscreet about Sonic Origins, merely unveiling unfinished footage, I yearned to listen to potentially polished 11-03-93 tracks for over a year. Regardless, I was shattered once the leaks emerged because the quality of the promised makeovers was inferior to the 11-03-93 versions. The most plausible theory behind the outcome of Origins Sonic 3's soundtrack is that Jun Senoue possessed a cassette containing recordings of SMPS "sandbox tests" by the SEGA musicians dating back to 1993, although from various points during the development. Therefore, it was sheer coincidence that SEGA -- after a decade of disregarding/neglect -- acknowledged Sonic 3 ensuing Hidden Palace's prototype dump because if they were cognizant of it, they indubitably would have implemented these objectively superior renditions. Unfortunately, Sonic Origins seems to be abandoned already, leaving the community with no foreseeable updates that could replace the offending music. Talk about false advertising on SEGA's part. How exactly is a collection riddled with glitches and horrendous music (a Sonic 3-only problem) definitive? As my way of venting, I decided to scorn the team's incompetence and deface their extrinsic goal-driven project by covering a fan-favourite, Hydrocity Act 2, with the obsolete Universal Sound Bank that SEGA found bearable. Did you feel assured that the first lead voice (reminiscent of a chime) couldn't be more ear-damaging than it already is? Your sanity would have diminished without the low-pass filter I applied on every FM patch and the DAC -- I can confirm my agonizing experience while working on this downgrade. I cannot be bothered to write an eloquent description this time because it is unwarranted to craft one for an intentionally horrendous cover; I will keep it concise. The chosen instrumentation stems from my eccentric headcanon that the 11-03-93 ICZ 1's recorder was initially tailored for Tomonori Sawada's jingles. While I admit this theory is somewhat nonsensical, I nonetheless want to entertain the idea. Also, it is an excuse to resume a music series that went on a 5-month hiatus.

Next on the Golden Capital YM2612 conversion series is the variant that plays in Knuckles' route. Unlike the other covers, I strayed from my customary "programmer-faithful" objective, Instead opting for a less restrictive approach achieved with expanded usage of the Sound Source library instrument patches. Ensure you do not overlook the loop extension I integrated, which contains an auditory illusion that managed to intrigue me as the arranger of this cover. All these creative liberties result from meticulously analyzing screenshots of Knuckles's route and mentally visualizing myself in the zone. Because of the outcome, I do not regret delaying the remix's release date by two days.

I didn't receive a response in time from Setsumaru. I was hoping for him to confirm his involvement in the unused theme, where the main lead originates. Even if this selection is a blunder, this alternate Golden Capital 1 cover utilizes other Sonic 3 voices 100% designed by him. Setsumaru was responsible for one of the many existing styles in the heterogenous Sonic 3 & Knuckles soundtrack. It turns out that Superstars's soundtrack wasn't the first to have "incongruence" as a result of multiple composers holding different perceptions of Sonic music. While the former had numerous interpretations of what constituted "retro Sonic" music, the latter pertained to Masato Nakamura.
= Differences between the Senoue--style rendition and this = - The Spring Stadium "acoustic" bass patch was replaced by Sky Sanctuary's Moog bass - Lead and chorus voices are taken from Sky Sanctuary, the unused theme, and the S&K title theme - Different volume levels - Echo/delay introduced - PSG is utilized differently here. Instead of playing sustained dyads, it holds the arpeggios. - The former FM arpeggio is now a multitone pad voice from Sky Sanctuary
Which Golden Capital 1 variant do you prefer? Comment down below; I'm interested in reading your sentiments.

Happy New Year, everybody! I propose we commence 2024 with an updated perception of the Sonic Superstars soundtrack, which received superfluous backlash from misinformed people lacking insight into what they were bickering about.
Jun Senoue is a veteran composer, contributing to the Sonic franchise since 1993, but comments from the fandom predominantly chastised him as if he began his music career with Sonic Adventure. In other words, they think he is an inexperienced "F.M. wannabe," revisiting the YM2612 era in the most "so retro" approach possible without any redeeming qualities. Others are cognizant of his three-decade career, starting with Sonic 3, but contemptibly disperse the falsehood that he never utilized chiptune hardware and had others cover that for him.
Senoue, according to the comments I witnessed the fandom posting, uses: - Midi "instruments" - "Abhorrent, authentic F.M. ("the YM2612, in general, must perish because it is no longer the 90s") - "Fake FM" - "Atrocious cat synthesizers" (All of these presumptions are erroneous)
Should we ideally permit this vocal portion of the fandom (contradictory and clueless) to provide feedback to influence the next Sonic soundtrack? Despite their insistence that Tee Lopes should displace everyone on the SEGA sound team, some cannot even identify his work in Superstars, attributing incorrect credits! Research and meticulous analysis of music are foreign concepts to them.
Three iterations of Cyber Station exist, but @dietbepsi settled on Senoue's pitch (the earliest version) because he thought that Toriena included 8-bit-styled instruments irrelevant to Sonic. He provided me with a nearly-finished .flp transcription and a beneficial F.M. patch selection template I expanded on. Admittedly, the chosen style of this remix slightly deviates from the quintessential Senoue YM2612 arrangement because he seldom used the delay effect (only once if he finalized proto CNZ 1). Moreover, Senoue never utilized organ voices in Sonic 3D Blast, but they were required. Fortunately, they come from the Sound Source library that Senoue relied on in the 90s, so who am I to say that he would have never selected those sounds (in theory)?Golden Capital 1 | Sonic Superstars (YM2612 - S3D Blast Style)Bouncy Glows Music Room2023-12-29 | Bouncy Glow's Music Room Discord server: discord.gg/4CP6Y5tWwt Download link (.wav): drive.google.com/file/d/1c6HUYvP3-XVl311_GlYPHgWXsGC2HpQv/view?usp=sharing If you were anticipating a Sky Sanctuary-based cover upon clicking this video, think again! However, you might be in for a surprise once I receive a crucial response from a notable individual on Twitter who isn't credited enough for his contributions to Sonic 3&K's soundtrack. Meanwhile, I subjected Senoue's Golden Capital to a style amalgamating Senoue's Sonic 3 style with his slightly different approach in Sonic 3D Blast; the selected FM voices and replacement percussion worked far better than I had initially thought. Gee, it is almost as if these stock voices were designed to serve a purpose back then?

You are responsible for the outcome of the Sonic 3 Limitless soundtrack! Recall and thoroughly scrutinize last year's LBZ 2 refinement (the latest revision is from 6 months ago: youtube.com/watch?v=KRElkc-vpkA). Now, hear what I deem a more realistic finalization that practically preserves the track's state in 11-03-93, merely correcting objectively undesirable attributes like the looping bug that doesn't seam the third and first sections well. After you finish your assessment, comment below which Launch Base 2 you wish to have in the Sonic 3 Limitless hack. Whichever iteration receives the most votes will be the selected one. However, do not fret if the refinement you rooted for loses since I will permanently leave the upload(s) intact.
= Modifications (relative to the 11-03-93 version) = - All the notes of the first verse's backing melody were decreased in volume by about -2.0 dB because they clashed with the lead melody. However, their original volume remains for all dyads, the second and third sections. - The first verse's PSG is slightly less abrupt - The lower octave lead is a tad louder on the first and third verses but has the original volume settings on the middle section - PSG phase cancellation issue corrected - Louder noise - The tom drums are now panned, HCZ 2-style - Jarring looping glitch was corrected

Toxicity will no longer be overlooked, unlike the previous servers. I apologize for being mostly silent regarding the predecessor's deletion. Be sure to read the announcement on the server for a detailed explanation of the new standards. -- A considerable number of my viewers commented that they missed the bell lead, more than I had anticipated when stripping off the distinguishing qualities of the first version. As an early Christmas present for that cohort, the instrumentation that I verily preferred the entire time has returned! However, I ended up being more delighted with the results than the first version because Chipsynth MD's emulation of the bell is superior to FMDrive and Genny; the genuine YM2612 counterpart's nuances (longer decay and desirable low-mid frequencies) were present in Chipsynth MD's emulation, which was reassuring. I will use the unfinished 11-03-93 version, version 1, and version 2 as references in my individual comparisons below.
= Differences between V3 and 11-03-93/Origins = - Redone mixing that emphasizes the lead melodies - PSG in the intro now has a Masayuki Nagao-style chorus (detune) - Corrected looping glitch that assigned incorrect voices - UVB Square often associated with rough imports was replaced with the bell associated with Chrome Gadget, Proto Carnival Night 1, and Lava Reef 1 - The obsolete, simplistic "fretless bass" voice was replaced with its refined successor heard in Hydrocity Act 2 - Louder noise - PSG 1 and PSG 2 have been harmonized in the second verse - Detune values of the leads were modified to mimic Hydrocity Act 2 - Leads have Hydrocity Act 2's "echo effect" - PSG now has two complementing octaves to account for the PC version, whose arp was lower in pitch - Opening now resolves one of the FM channel's "empty space"; two individual UVB "short trumpet" hold the same notes as the UVB "long trumpet" and UVB "organ" (I apologize for this confusing jargon)
= Differences between V3 and V2 = - The crash cymbal was removed because that sample is more characteristic of Senoue, Maeda, and Setsumaru - The square was replaced again with the bell - The bizarre open hi-hat pattern was removed - Grating guitars utilized as the "hits" of the intro were swapped with the mellower trumpet that is more reminiscent of the polysynth from the S&K Collection version - Restored echo/delay - The custom "fretless bass" voice was replaced with the one heard in Hydrocity Act 2 for accuracy reasons
= Differences between V3 and V1 = - All instances of shoddily emulated FM patches by Genny and FMDrive were replaced with Chipsynth MD - Louder leads - Louder noise - The electric piano backing of the third verse is slightly louder - Less overpowering PSG during the opening - Smoother vibrato

This cover brings plenty of transformations (exclusive to this reiteration) to the table that would appease the meticulous ear because they finally follow the conventional programming of Masaru Setsumaru.
It is critical to note that a deciphered mystery compelled me to resume progress on what began as an experiment. While browsing Twitter/X, it was exhilarating to discover that my speculation about Setsumaru handling the revamped Sky Sanctuary was correct. Indeed, the legendary sound programmer willingly revealed to fans that he "just took this song [that song was written by another person who wasn't employed at SEGA] and ported it to GENESIS." With this in mind, wouldn't you agree that there is some plausibility in the analogous (programming-wise and composition-wise to a degree) proto Launch Base 1 initially being intended to receive a Setsumaru upgrade? In other words, if the Michael Jackson partnership never came to fruition, would Setsumaru have replaced most of the universal FM patches with his tailored ones? However, RadiantNexus (the team behind Sonic 3 Limitless) and I agreed that we retain the voice and octave settings of the lead and echo channels; it is pertinent to the orchestral feel of the *piece*, which was de-emphasized upon the inclusion of the Sky Sanctuary saw.
It has been an immensely long "journey" regarding LBZ 1, which commenced midway through 2020. Fortunately, I can confidently state that we have finally arrived at the definitive version of this theme for those growing weary of it.
= Modifications relative to 11-03-93 = - A multitone voice characteristic of Setsumaru was implemented to add a layer of complexity. - PSG is utilized for the "sustained" dyads - Volume of leads is louder - UVB bass replaced with Setsumaru's moog bass from Sky Sanctuary - UVB "bell trumpet" displaced with the bell from Balloon Park and layered PSG; the aforementioned voice is reserved for the middle section - Introduced crash cymbals and tom drums - The intro has a new voice - Note slide right before the third verse - Some notes were made less staccato (bassline, countermelodies, and arpeggios) - Glitched notes as a result of improper flags were corrected - The "six seconds of supporting channel silence" or "gap" was filledProto IceCap Act 1 (Faithful Revamp) | Sonic 3 Limitless OSTBouncy Glows Music Room2023-12-16 | #IceCap #Sonic3 #SonicMusic #bouncyglowsmusicroom #sonicthehedgehog #sonicoriginsplus #sonicorigins #sonicmusic RadiantNexus' Sonic 3 Limitless has an objective that, in hindsight, I utterly failed to abide by six months ago; the previous cover wasn't sufficiently authentic to evoke the feeling of playing a build from an alternate universe. In addition, that version was met with divided opinions here and externally. While all of them were valid and were facets that led to this replacement, the central reason was because the June reiteration counterintuitively introduced more similarities with the act 2 theme. The bassline's rhythm, the slower tempo, and the increased energy nearly parallel my ICZ 2 from May (fortunately, I'm still content with it and don't foresee another variant). Isn't the ubiquitous, essentially unanimous sentiment that the act 1 and act 2 tracks of proto-IceCap require differentiation? With additional information and implications garnered from further research (with assistance from multiple users), my philosophy in handling refinements for the Sonic 3 Limitless hack evolved. Occasionally, the adage "less is more" holds true; it did for this situation. At last, those who insisted that I subject the existing 11-03-93 ICZ 1 to a simplistic "snare implementation" received their wish.
= Modifications = - The basic pattern of the original was reinvigorated by replacing incrementally one of the kick drums with the multilayer "kick snare." - The middle and ending verses now have an unused FM voice from Sawada's bank, adding variation and richness, respectively. - The opening exploits the formerly empty FM and PSG channels with duplicated data. - The middle verse now has PSG dyads modelled after the Sonic 3 title and invincibility themes.

Salutations to all of my subscribers and viewers; it has been nearly four months of dormancy on my part, but my annual winter break commenced last week. Expect this channel's activity to increase substantially until the next university term begins in January.
During the hectic fall term, I took inevitable peeks at Sonic Superstars' soundtrack and the fanbase's reactions. The amount of misinformation, topsy-turvy sentiments, and accumulated elitism that arose immediately after the soundtrack was unveiled was unendurable. I'd instead not write a tirade because, in the end, I'm speaking to a brick wall. Nevertheless, know that the fanbase is beginning to despise FM, and specific community members are writing dissertations intended to berate those who favour the SOUND-SORCE FM patches, colloquially referred to as the "Sonic instruments." To ascertain my versatility as a Chipsynth MD user fond of Kubota's driver, I successfully(?) designed a choir + "nylon guitar" backing voice utilized for the chords after countless attempts. Comment below if you wish to hear more custom voices on my remixes.

As I write this description, I am admittedly not my usual optimistic self. I'm sorry if I appear unduly aggressive. I'm utterly exasperated and infuriated by the ignorance exhibited by the Sonic community lately. It has gotten egregious to the point that people cannot discern between wildly divergent instrumentation, in terms of a technical and auditory sense -- between FM and the colloquially labelled "feline synths" of the Sonic 4 soundtrack. Senoue conceivably listened to years of criticism because this is an accomplishment whereby he RETURNED to FM after a 27-year hiatus from it. Instead of reading anticipated praise, I come across insolent and ungrateful users who bicker about nonexistent issues, scorning the proficient man for his undeniable efforts. It is as if their ears do not function well. Unfortunately, the predicament worsens from here on. When enlightened individuals correct them with factual information, they reject it either because they are illiterate (it is arduous for their limited cognitive abilities to process) or because their delusions are profound. How is it puzzling to comprehend the fundamentals of sound design? That FM (frequency modulation) involves manipulating operators of sine waves, while the Korg Triton uses a HI Synthesis tone generator for its presets. Similar logic can be applied to contrast between FM and virtual synthesizers like Xpand!2 (Sonic 4 Episode II).
While the previous paragraph permitted me to vent my fury, this recreation of the unknown Superstars theme (presumed by some to be the invincibility track) was another "mechanism." The voices that Senoue verily employed in the Superstars original came from Kubota and Bo's SOUND-SORCE driver, along with Setsumaru's Balloon Park multitone FM patch. The first lead voice was an edit of the Green Grove Act 1's voice in one operator's value and ASDR settings. Despite the second voice being a potential non-FM one, that shouldn't be grounds for labelling Senoue as incompetent because at least the choice is deliberately mimicking the SN76489's square outputs. Unfortunately, because our faith in this community is extraordinarily negligible, we (me, DMP, Rookie, ThisGreenDingo, Jade Jovian, etc.) doubt that this recreation would convince you skeptics. However, to those willing to alter their fallacious thinking, we commend you and acknowledge that you are not obliged to grasp music terminology immediately. Enjoy this cover; it should be regarded as the hypothetical HQ version until the official theme is released (if it isn't unused).[V2] Competition Menu Refined - Sonic 3 Limitless OSTBouncy Glows Music Room2023-08-17 | Here is the invitation link to my Discord server, The Glowtel: 🏨🟣discord.gg/YTTFqHVnZd 🎮⭐
Greetings, subscribers. In hindsight, I shouldn't have rapidly jumped to conclusions because that led to May's version, which had mixed reception. My fallacious mentality was that since the earlier Origins CNZ 1 replaced the FM square lead voice with the bell, I had to apply that logic to the competition menu theme. However, this reasoning comes tumbling down. Other tracks with that same FM square -- Carnival Night Act 2 in Sonic Origins -- had it swapped for other voices. Moreover, as many pointed out, the bell's instantaneous decay time wasn't appropriate for the sustained/protracted notes, resulting in a significant loss in vigour.
After attempting to reconcile with the bell for three months to no avail, I decided to redo the refinement with the aid of@Rookie and @NEOSEGASOUNDTEAM_DMP. Initially, their suggestions (apart from restoring the square and keeping the countermelodies mono, both of which were obligatory in maintaining accuracy) required some time to become accustomed to, but they at least had a foundation. The competition menu theme in the 11-03-93 build was an outlier since it had a UVB predating the one utilized for the other prototype tracks (other than the Act 1 boss, the proto credits theme, and the unused theme). Resultantly, one of the modifications to the opening was a guitar voice replacing the duplicated trumpet, which held the guitar's code position in the older UVB. The next substantial addition was crash cymbals, assigned to positions reflecting the Sonic & Knuckles Collection GM version. While Nagao's contributions never included crash cymbal samples in the DAC, an exception can be made given this track's hollow nature and lack of echo. If you are disgruntled, I can always upload a variant without them. Let's hope that, like the Limitless Launch Base Act 1, the definitive version of the competition menu theme has been achieved. Thank you for reading the description, and enjoy.

Greetings, everyone. Was your experience underwhelming when encountering those referential Mecha Sonic MKII boss fights in Sky Sanctuary only to hear the regular S3 major bosses theme? Were you anticipating the programmers to reimagine or rejuvenate the renowned S1 or S2 compositions by Masato Nakamura? In this "alternate universe" build of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, SEGA did not wholly reject Nakmura's offer and provided the musicians at Cube Corporation (Masanori Hikichi) with an undertaking. Hikchi's objective was to adapt the Sonic 2 Eggman theme into his existing instrumentation style with the custom Cube driver he had already familiarized himself with. He aspired to introduce the flair of Flying Battery and Death Egg (his contributions to the S3&K) to this theme, considering that those were deliberate attempts to mimic Nakmura's composition style. Miraculously, an idea formulated in his head was an arpeggio on the PSG channel that would energize and augment the tension of these short but memorable battles. Despite not knowing how to activate the noise channel initially, his resolve that arose from the promising results of the near-finished arrangement made him figure that out. Finally, he placed noise reminiscent of open hi-hats on areas he felt was appropriate, inadvertently achieving the auditory illusion of an orchestral crash cymbal.
Was this fan fiction engrossing, in spite of some of the terminology that admittedly could be puzzling to those who aren't interested in producing music or are new to it? While I am proud of it, I'm more content with how the cover turned out. Rookie's rough template (it was not his channel upload) made this possible because his chosen lead and bass paralleled the retail S2 boss theme in sound.

Greetings, everyone. This time, I cannot be bothered to write a protracted description or utilize an anime girl as part of the visualizer. At this point, most of you are cognizant of what I intend to accomplish with these Origins downgrades. Nevertheless, it is worth mentioning that the final version of this track did not utilize the UVB directly but borrowed voices from it. Hence, I found it pertinent to create a hypothetical earlier version of that theme with the aforementioned bank. Enjoy? In all honesty, I cannot envision anyone becoming exhilarated by rubbish like this.

I am not fully content with the outcome of the variant from last week, nor were a select few on Discord. Being that Angel Island Act 2 is one of my favourite tracks in the Sonic Advance trilogy, I could not resist attempting this track in what I consider a "hybrid style." Specifically, I retained the techniques associated with core Tatsuyuki Maeda programming, such as an emphasis on echo, while employing voices from other Sonic games. Think of it as if Tatsuyuki Maeda were granted the Chipsynth MD VST and various voice presets he could choose from.
On the subject of presets, I deliberately selected the ones utilized in Sonic Megamix v4 because of my intense nostalgia for that fanmade cover. However, I wouldn't classify this as a recreation as this remix has plenty of new to offer. For one thing, I am mesmerized by inadvertently simulating a convincing choir section at the end. I can assure you this is an auditory illusion that was not arranged. Moreover, listen to my custom organ in the intro! It almost parallels the Roland JV-1080 preset.
To those of you who weren't convinced by the previous attempt, are you satisfied with this? I can say with confidence that I am.

I apologize if this portion of the description comes off as aggressive, but why is the Sonic music community in a ruinous state? From crafting misinformation (to fit one's narrative or sheer obliviousness) to shady practices and reconciling with crud to underappreciating gems. Let's all endeavour to repair what I have mentioned by practicing honesty and reinforcing research.
I initially thought of Mushroom Hill Act 1 being Setsumaru's programming, but after comparing it with Marble Garden 1 (a Cube track), I'm beginning to rule out my assumptions as fallacious. While Setsumaru is known for coding Moog-like bass voices, Cube Corp. tracks in other Mega Drive/Genesis games used a similar one, leading me to believe it is a saved preset in their custom driver. So, how does this concern this Origins Plus downgrade? Earlier on, I was considering employing Setsumaru's unfinished Balloon Park (from 11-03-93, albeit my custom edits) instrument bank. However, a change in my mentality caused me to medley Marble Garden and 11-03-93 Mushroom Hill patches. Are you convinced? Is the state of this cover a plausible earlier version? Note that I omitted the intro because the prototype and S&K Collection versions lacked it.

Greetings, everyone! I cannot decide whether I prefer the Sonic Advance Act 1 or Act 2. However, after working strenuously on Advance AIZ 2, I realized that Maeda composed one 2000s-style anime OP-sounding theme, particularly a slice of life. Accordingly, I retained that feel by employing Maeda's signature bell, piano, and string voices, analogous to the keyboard synth presets in those anime OPs. The patches were taken from Sonic 3 11-03-93, Sonic 3D Blast and J.League Pro Striker 2, another soundtrack Maeda had worked on. Furthermore, Maeda had imported J.League Pro Striker 2 voices to Sonic 3D Blast, so the medley of these banks should not be ruled out from the realm of possibility.
This cover was made one of my priorities to complete, thanks to the positive reception of the preceding Act 1 remix and multiple requests for this one. Stay tuned for more Tatsuyuki Maeda-related uploads because it is my obligation to inform the public about this talented musician's existence and how SEGA/Sonic Team is absurd for not remembering him. However, my endeavour is practically futile if I do not have a public intervention, so feel free to share my uploads with your friends whilst mentioning Tatsuyuki Maeda. -- Fun fact #1: I was eager to upload a rendition of AIZ 2 since late 2020, but the outcome of the precursor project was nothing short of a catastrophe that barely resembled Maeda in the programming style. Unfortunately, this project is stored on my previous computer, under a boatload of other belongings. Fun fact #2: Initially, this cover had one of the J.League Pro Striker 2 bass voices set, but I replaced it with the Volcano Valley Act 1 patch for two reasons. First, the waveform's frequencies lacked desirable low frequencies ideal for a bass instrument. Second, other covers on YouTube had already utilized that voice, so I feared people accusing me of imitating them. -- Credits Composition: Tatsuyuki Maeda Instruments: Tatsuyuki Maeda, Yamaha, and Chipsynth MD Artwork: Yuji Uekawa Visual effects: FL Studio's ZGameEditor VisualizerSonic Origins Plus OST - Hydrocity Act 1 DowngradeBouncy Glows Music Room2023-06-26 | #HydrocityAct1 #sonicoriginsplus #sonicorigins #sonic3music #sonichydrocity #hydrocity #bouncyglowsmusicroom

Am I going to purchase Sonic Origins Plus? No way!
I've returned to the UVB-based tracks and decided to apply the Origins proto CNZ 1 treatment to Jun Senoue's "No Way" composition, given that the final version that made it into the game already was heavily reminiscent of 11-03-93 CNZ 1. To clarify, I transposed the notes of the countermelodies and lead -- played by an organ voice -- down by 12 semitones (octave), applied the voice selections present in Origins CNZ 1, and increased the tempo/BPM. Does this "Origins Plus" parody corroborate that Jun Senoue was the composer of proto CNZ 1, given the similar PSG arp and countermelodies? Sonic Team and SEGA have verified their intense fondness for music with the most repugnant instrumentation complemented with a filter that correlates the fidelity to the output one would hear when submerged in water. Therefore, do not anticipate a patch resolving the egregious music issue. They show no interest in acknowledging the 11-03-93's build, nor do they desire for incoming fans to learn about it.
Endless Mine, another Cube Corp. track conceivably composed and programmed by Masanori Hikichi, is the subsequent entry in this Origins Plus parody series; this means I have subjected the botched treatment to all competition-level themes. However, I am empathetic today, sparing your eardrums from enduring a gruesome experience like Azure Lake. Unlike the other downgrades, my Endless Mine interpretation merely has a high-pitched, violin-esque lead voice and jarring countermelodies by virtue of the instrument associated with them. Besides that, half of the voices, including the bass, remained intact to mimic the type of 11-03-93 Cube tracks nearing completion.

Join my Discord server to denounce Sonic Origins Plus. Provide valid criticisms, arguments, and suggestions that hopefully improve this travesty. We have reached the point where I am willing to send these complaints to Headcannon and the Sonic PR team. If we were to form an ensemble, we could rescue an abysmal product.
Did you think the previous Balloon Park was daunting and excruciatingly painful? Here, I amplified the horror tenfold by relying on some of the harshest "Cube Corp" voices commonly associated with earlier iterations of their tracks, such as Flying Battery and Doomsday. I am already anticipating your sentiments as I write this -- you will declare this the worst entry of this parody series yet. Moreover, to fortify this designation, I finally succeeded in emulating Origins low pass recordings owing to my further exploration of the Chipsynth MD VST, which has an array of filters to choose from. My seething and "malding" about Origins Plus' state are motivators that resulted in this series' hiatus ending.
Now on to the specifics of the "programming." Initially, it might seem ironic that this cover, which is supposed to reflect a hypothetical "earlier build" version, has the glitched glissando section corrected. I'm fantasizing about the Cube programmers (likely Masanori Hikichi) having their "Cube UVB" applied to a simplistic MIDI port of Azure Lake. Once overwritten in the 11-03-93 build, one of the voices had remnant data from that deleted bank that consequently got corrupted. However, as this is a "raw port," the aforesaid issue isn't present. -- Composed by Masanori Hikichi Visuals by ZGameEditor Visualizer Artwork and logos by SEGA and Sonic Team Doraemon by Fujiko F. I have upsetting news for you all anticipating those "fixes" Headcannon promised for Sonic Origins Plus. Unfortunately, insider information given to me by Chillius (who received it from a credible and trustworthy acquaintance) revealed that Katie, Stealth, and Sonic Team disregarded our persistent criticisms regarding the issues with Origins' Sonic 3 & Knuckles soundtrack. Therefore, if there isn't a day-one patch that should ideally resolve this issue, expect the S3&K soundtrack to be cursed in future releases. I cannot fathom why Sonic Team prefers muffled and distorted recordings, with some of them utilizing instrumentation from an older version of the UVB (Carnival Night 1, Carnival Night 2, Launch Base 1, and Launch Base 2). Their 11-03-93 counterparts are superior in voice selections, volume levelling, SMPS coding, and compositions. Additionally, let us not forget that these "lovers of inadequacy" do not have an issue with including a Super Sonic theme that does not utilize FM, causing it to clash with the other tracks.
As you listen to this Balloon Park parody, read this corroborating document by MDTravis (a prototype enthusiast, analyst, and archivist) to inform yourself about Sonic Origins' S3 music case: sonicresearch.org/community/index.php?threads/the-sonic-origins-music-situation.6773 Alternately, watch Garfield express his disapproval and the return of the "anime girl" joke that permeated the previous entries. Nevertheless, this instance is remarkable because I know about this anime and am an immense fan. Here, Konata Izumi from Lucky Star is concurring with Garfield that it was inexcusable of SEGA to keep us waiting for a year only to greet us with more mediocrity. Trust her discernment because she is an avid connoisseur of video games.
== Differences from the 11-03-93 and final version == - PSG chords from the final have been stripped off to coincide with the 11-03-93 version - The 11-03-93 voices have been exacerbated in quality, with their waveforms being simplified further. - Notes are overly staccato - Goofed-up volume balancing - Octaved clavinet voice that serves as the backing in the 11-03-93 and final versions has been replaced with a simplistic FM square - Decreased variety in voices

Tatsuyuki Maeda, the composer of this track, should have been recruited for Sonic Superstars. SEGA and Sonic Team undervalue this talented individual, refusing to appoint him sound director and relegating him to SFX and dialogue editing. I had to express my disappointment by returning to a cover that had been in the works since September last year. As the title states, this is a 3D Blast arrangement done in Maeda's style. The Carnival Night Act 1 refinement from last year now has a variant whose key matches the Sonic & Knuckles Collection MIDI yet retains the prototype's slower tempo. Like proto Launch Base Act 1, the upcoming Sonic 3 Limitless hack by RadiantNexus will let you choose your preferred version via options. In this case, I envision this reiteration being ideal if you fancy the decreased BPM but want consistency in key with the ensuing proto act 2 theme. Furthermore, this pitch might satisfy those accustomed to the MJ team version, both of which are in C-major. Ultimately, it all comes down to you!

A "cohort" despised the Sky Sanctuary lead replacing the 11-03-93 version and couldn't bear listening to the refinement because of its overpowering high frequencies responsible for the continuous buzzing. Others felt it decreased the accuracy of capturing the programmers' intentions, instead sounding more like a "fan arrangement" that wouldn't belong in the game. However, since I harbour constructive criticism, what you will hear in RadiantNexus' Sonic 3 Limitless (an upcoming hack reinvigorating the Sonic 3&K experience) is a more faithful revamp in mixing and instrumentation. Fortunately, we as a team concurred that the previous lead voice detracted from what was otherwise a remix with potential. Are your sentiments mutual, subscribers? If they are, expect the PC pitch version to arrive shortly.
= Modifications since V2 = - 11-03-93 UVB lead voice was restored while retaining the Setsumaru-like arranging style (on occasion, his non-UVB contributions had select UVB-derived voices) - The lead's delay channel was set to commence earlier, corresponding to the prototype's settings - The lead instrument detune is precisely 11-03-93's - Instances of Genny or FMDrive were replaced with stem renderings or ChipsynthMD - Those backing bell trumpets have tweaked vibrato - Dual-tone chords have postponed vibrato

Wait, ICZ 1 has its second version up so soon? Nevertheless, it was imminent because of the unanimous feedback concerning the opening not being as impactful. Somebody else also found the first lead off-tune, so I referred to the 11-03-93 version and mimicked its settings as closely as possible. Furthermore, I felt that the chords could have been louder to serve their purpose of filling the track more effectively.
= Changes = FROM V1: louder chords, 1st lead is no longer off-tune, and the chords are louder From the OG 11-03-93 version: - Introduction of FM chords, which replaced the transient plucks to increase the mix's richness and differentiation between the Sonic 3 Limitless ICZ 2 linked here. - Recorder-like voice now has slight decay because it was ear-piercing to hear it at a fixed volume. In addition, this is characteristic of Tomonori Sawada's FM voices in the final version, which decayed. - Volume balancing of the leads and their accompanying echo. - The superior S&K Collection bass of ICZ 1 displaces the awkward, swung Crystal Egg bassline. - PSG is more sustained and (resultantly) evocative of the cave's broadness in area. - Noise now has an open hat introduced into the pattern. - DAC from S&K Collection ICZ 1 was implemented because the simplistic kick pattern was a primary culprit in the 11-03-93's emptiness. - While the bass instrument sounds like the 11-03-93 voice, audiophiles should be able to distinguish it because of its further complexity; it was taken from J.League Pro Striker 1 (a Tomonori Sawada and Sachio Ogawa soundtrack). - Modified vibrato of leads and countermelodies. - Adjusted detune values. - PSG arp plays at a lower octave in the middle section to decrease its repetitiveness. - The last section takes advantage of all FM channels where the 11-03-93 version had two muted. - The delay channels complementing the first lead and PSG were set to commence slightly later.

Greetings, everybody! Version 5 from January continued to receive mixed feedback, particularly transparent on Discord. Fortunately, version 6 implements corrections to attributes that were egregious to others. In hindsight, I should have retained the adage, "less is more," when working on those December iterations. Could this be the final version after all these alterations since February 2020?
What's modified since the Jan version: - Reduced delay to better encapsulate the environment - An awkward bassline transition was removed to respect the signature and syncopation of the track - Quieter bell in the first verse so that it does not interfere with the main lead as much - PSG was made less convoluted in the second and third verses - More staccato notes - Louder kick and snare drum - Volume balancing of countermelodies and arps - Instances of the inaccurate Nov. 2019 Genny VST was replaced with ChipsynthMD - A replacement lead voice (heard throughout the Origins version) in the second verse to abide by the boundaries of the UVB - Noise was adjusted to eliminate the splashiness

Salutations, everybody. Can't you believe that this remix series is nearly concluding? All that remains is a more faithful rendition of IceCap Act 1! Anyhow, since encountering this track in 2014 (and re-listening to it via the 11-03-93 build 2019), I found it unfitting for Knuckles due to its supposed comical tone. However, after reading people's sentiments, they persuaded me, and I took on the challenge of further augmenting the track's tension; I considered the Hidden Palace battle with Knuckles.
Modifications to the 11-03-93 Knuckles Theme - New strings section (most conspicuous change) to decrease the repetitiveness. - The redundant channel usage was corrected by consolidating FM channels 2 and 3 into one because the notes never overlapped. - With a new channel generated, I added a bassline kept in the centre to keep it consistent with the rest of the OST. - Volume balancing - PSG 2 is now utilized and has slight detune. - Crash cymbal and new DAC with custom multilayer samples (courtesy of MDTravis). - Noise pattern has some variation. - The loop arpeggio originally played by the trumpet + single PSG channel is now complemented by the bell trumpet and an S3 Game Over voice. -- Credits Originally composed and arranged by Jun Senoue (the comparable Game Over theme from Sonic 3 has remarkably similar programming and composition) Altered arrangement by Bouncy Glow, MDTravis, and Mastered Realm Artwork by SEGA Visual effects by FL Studio ZGameEditor Visualizer Instruments: Yoshiaki Kashima and Masayuki Nagao's Universal Soundbank and Yamaha stock instruments. The previous version's reception was fair, although others pointed out some issues, such as an overpowering delay channel, muffled iOS-quality mixing, soft PSG, and bizarre detune/LFO. Thus, like all my subsequent revisions, I implemented modifications pertinent to achieving a flawless iteration.
Changes since the first version: - Slightly quieter delay - Louder PSG - Modified LFO on both the lead and its complementary delay channel - Faulty rendering error that resulted in the buzz has been corrected - Stereo bell trumpet - Wonky bass length has been modified to be slightly more staccato

Apologies for the re-upload, everyone. Multiple users were not wholly content with the outcome of the version earlier today, and I frankly had to concur with them. Resultantly, I employed each of their suggestions, such as lengthening the overly short notes associated with the preponderance of 11-03-93's/Origins proto music, decay values, and volume levels. Hopefully, this is the definitive version.
(Old description) Finally, I revamped the 11-03-93 competition menu theme to correspond with the S3&K soundtrack, specifically the UVB ones. Presently, all that remains is a more faithful IceCap 1 rendition and the proto Knuckles theme, which I continuously struggle to adapt because of how bare bones their compositions are. However, I should regard this more optimistically; as challenges that I will eventually overcome as I become more proficient in YM2612-related endeavours.
Two years back, I hesitated to set the FM square as the lead instrument because it sounded rough and did not take advantage of the YM2612's capabilities. Thus, one of the initial plans was to swap it with Chrome Gadget/Lava Reef's voice. Eventually, I scrapped the project due to me going into a rabbit hole. More recently, in December, I collaborated on a finalized version one commenced and by coincidence, they selected that lead. Unfortunately, while that iteration was complete, it was met with criticism since the "R&B" vibes of the 11-03-93 version diminished. Nevertheless, there were specific elements that were solid in my view, so I, yet again, restarted the project from scratch, imbuing it with other Nagao-like techniques.
Modifications - The UVB square wave was swapped for the UVB bell (the idea was formulated by both of us at some point) - Sole PSG channel in the original is now complemented by PSG 2, whose notes are an octave lower. - Old UVB bass was ditched in favour of HCZ 2's similar-sounding bass. - Louder noise - Voice-changing events introduced for the countermelodies - Choppy delay for one of the opening's trumpets was corrected - Volume balancing - PSG 1 and PSG 2 have been harmonized in the second verse - Detune values of the leads were modified to mimic Hydrocity Act 2 - Leads now have Hydrocity Act 2's "echo effect" - Opening now resolves one of the FM channel's "empty space"; the UVB organ holds the same notes as the UVB trumpet.

Leaked rip of Origins Plus' updated rendition of IceCap 2, which can be presumed to originate from a build slightly later than 11-03-93. Such inference is plausible because of the swapped PSG/FM channels and the addition of sustained PSG chords, which differentiates it from the act 1 theme. Fortunately, Senoue recorded this in higher quality, permitting us to appreciate it in all its glory.

Like my two Launch Base concepts, this cover serves as an alternative to my 2020 covers that were more akin to the 3D Blast style and deviated more from the proto themes.
Modifications - Echo channel is delayed further - Backing FM and PSG channels were swapped - Variation in the countermelody voices - Tweaked intro - Introduction of an electric piano in the last verse before it loops - Modified detune settings for the leads - Bassline was changed subtly - PSG now plays sustained chords instead of that high pitched arp - Repeated second verse to extend the duration of the track/reduce repetitiveness -- Credits Composition: Tomonori Sawada Visual Effects: FL Studio Artwork: SEGALaunch Base (Act 1) Revamped; 11-03-93 Pitch | Sonic Origins Plus [OST]Bouncy Glows Music Room2023-04-29 | #sonicorigins #sonicoriginsplus #sonic3andknuckles #sonic3

They listened to your feedback and even allowed for the option to choose the higher-pitched variant from 11-03-93, albeit with updated instrumentation.

Leaked replacement music for Launch Base Act 1 in Sonic Origins Plus that is recorded in higher quality and contains different Sky Sanctuary-esque instrumentation. What this suggests is that this originates from a later prototype, conceivably after the "Origins build" and the 11-03-93 build. Therefore, the decision to shift proto Launch Base Act 1 up by one semitone (heard in 11-03-93's version) was temporary.

I always wondered how the Pleasure Castle/Knuckles Special Stage theme would have sounded if Senoue programmed it into Sonic 3D Blast. For one thing, he would have conceivably increased the key by four semitones from the demo tape version, as he did with invincibility, the overarching theme, and the special stage music. Also, complex countermelodies were a signature trait of Senoue's Genesis-era music, so their eventual integration should be expected. All in all, the demo tape for this tune seemed more incomplete relative to the others, and Senoue was bound to add flourishes. Therefore, staying 100% faithful to it could be unideal.
All the FM voices utilized originated from the following Senoue-arranged themes: - "Twinkly E.P." - Proto Carnival Night Act 1 - "Gritty E.P." - S&K Slot Machine - Backing Strings - Sonic 3D Blast Credits theme - Bass - Green Grove Act 1/2, Spring Stadium Act 2, and Panic Puppet Act 1 - Trumpet - Spring Stadium Act 1 - "Cheesy Brass" - Green Grove Act 1 and Panic Puppet Act 1 - Bell #1 - 3D Blast Invinicibility - Bell #2 - 3D Blast Special Stage - Octave Brass - Sonic 3D Blast Credits theme - Dual-Tone Electric Guitar - the only custom voice; heard in the intro. - Clean Guitar - Green Grove Act 2

I'm back from my annual hiatus and here to resume 2023 with more Origins covers that express my contempt for Origins. With this in mind, bizarre Amy sprites do not mitigate SEGA's questionable direction of the collection.
With the arrangement, I included some of the peculiar notes exclusive to the Sonic & Knuckles Collection and based the instrumentation chiefly on Origins' LBZ 2. Additionally, the mixing in which the backing melodies overpower the lead melody was inspired by that aforesaid theme.

No anime girl this time, but I will incorporate the joke in the next entry. More importantly, however, this will be my last upload for a while because university has resumed, and I must keep up with its fast-paced environment. Additionally, what I am majoring in matters to me dearly, and I do not want to jeopardize my academic performance. Fortunately, if there is an instance where I am ahead, I might churn more Origins downgrades due to their simplicity. Thank you very much for understanding.

Greetings, everybody! Next on the "botched-up Origins versions" music series is the subdued Lava Reef Act 2/Hidden Palace to complement the previous Lava Reef Act 1 entry. And, of course, I will retain the anime girl aesthetic/theming in this series upon request.
Unlike the other Sonic Origins-style downgrades, I experimented further with the note data. Not only did I transpose notes by octaves, I markedly inspected the 11-03-93 version of Angel Island Act 2 and made the arpeggios significantly more staccato than in the release version. In other words, such a characteristic heightens the essence of a crude "MIDI import" that is bound to be redrafted subsequently. Additionally, I utilized the prototype Angel Island Act 2's lead to avoid tiring you with identical Universal Sound Bank (UVB) voices and closely mimicked its chorus and modulation settings. After all, if the presumption that the Origins recordings originated from an earlier build holds, chances are that the programmers would have chosen other lead voices from the older UVB besides the FM square I have relied on. Finally, I thought that the ending of this theme would have been abrupt. So despite this cover's aim for roughness, I implemented arguably trivial volume automation in the end, resulting in a fadeout. REVISIONS: - Louder DAC channel (kick, snare, tom drums, and congas) - Slightly quieter countermelodies, whether the PSG or the hard-panned FM channels. - Quieter arpeggios - Negligibly quieter "twinkle" instrument (you may recognize it as the Chrome Gadget lead) - Slightly louder delay on the two leads - Less splashy PSG 4/noise (hi-hats) - Quieter PSG 4/noise (hi-hats) - Slightly louder leads and bass - Fixed broken delay of the twinkle instrument
Happy New Year, everybody! The version I released on Christmas received mixed feedback, primarily because the drums were not audible enough, and the mixing was unbearably muddy. Hopefully, the additional attention to detail has led to a flawless rendition on par with the rest of the S3&K soundtrack.
(Old description) This refinement is coupled with two projects by KGL, MDT (MDTravis), BladeOfChaos, Lunar, and co. It is called Sonic 3 Limitless and made by the RadiantNexus team. The former seeks to spruce up Sonic 3 & Knuckles as if that notorious McDonald's deal from the 1990s that rushed the game never transpired! Sonic 3 Limitless features improved music by LunarCryptik, MDTravis, and me, alongside corrected glitches and spriting. Moreover, 3L aims to combine some of Origins' features (the DESIRABLE ONES, MIND THAT) and QoL changes to differentiate it from other S3 projects.
At first glance, it may appear that I exceeded the YM2612 soundchip limitations. However, that, fortunately, is not the case because I cleverly exploited the massive "gaps" in the channel data, along with events pertaining to instrument switches. Thus, I adequately achieved the Hydrocity Act 2-styled echo with the first lead while retaining the lower octave. On the downside, I had to sacrifice the duplicated channel with the electric piano arp, but this might be inconsequential as the introduced "ping pong" panning masks this loss sufficiently. Also, note the custom FM voice in the middle, which is essentially a "hybrid" of the "flute" in the Origins version and the HCZ 2 lead present in the first and third verses. Lastly, phase cancellation of the PSG data was prevalent through the unfinished 11-03-93 version, so I corrected this issue by overwriting PSG 2 with new countermelodies and arps. -- Credits Video made with FL Studio ZGameEditor Visualizer plugin

Would you like me to continue utilizing anime girls as the running gag for this new music series, or is this becoming stale?
Picture this: after a laborious day at work, game developer Hifumi (I'm more familiar with this show after stumbling across it in 2020) decides to boot up her console and play Sonic Origins for the first time. However, she was not prepared to hear butchered renditions of the prototype tracks for Carnival Night, IceCap, and Launch Base that she adored previously in the 11-03-93 build. Suddenly, the game crashed on her. Unfortunately, upon restarting it, an immediate update arose that integrated a Sonic 3 & Knuckles soundtrack, all in the style of those replacements. Out of all the "revamped" themes, Lava Reef Act 1 was the worst offender, according to her.
Clearly, you are already aware that, in reality, there is no such thing botched-up Origins Lava Reef Act 1. So instead, I modified my existing Origins-style Lava Reef Act 1 meme from Twitter, hopefully increasing its accuracy. I apologize for damaging your eardrums on the last day of 2022. Additionally, you could perceive this fourth revision as an apology for the three disastrous 2020 versions. They were always evocative of a slender, awkward man who wiggled non-stop to the sloppy bassline and drum signature.

Download link (.wav) - drive.google.com/file/d/1ZR86-7PJ-JnLJFDn4gQs-1p0Xnd0LgaG/view?usp=sharing The soundtrack of Sonic 3 & Knuckles could have utilized a couple more themes. For instance, Hidden Palace does not have its own composition and instead reuses Lava Reef Act 2. However, what other way to solve this matter than to port an existing SegaSonic Bros. piece that I find suitable for this primeval area? As the legendary Masaru Setsumaru wrote this track, I decided to upgrade the programming/instrumentation of it so that it coincides more with his later, additionally polished contributions, such as Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic 3D Blast. In fact, the zone that follows Hidden Palace is Sky Sanctuary, which Setsumaru ended up finalizing. Talk about style consistency! Please let me know if you find my potential series of porting (and remixing) music written by the S3&K sound interesting.
Here is the list of implemented modifications: - Tweaked volume balancing (louder bass and leads) - Addition of a dual-tone strings-like FM patch that complements the original strings. - FM drums replaced with the Sonic 3 & Knuckles DAC samples. - SN76489-generated white noise (hi-hats). - A custom-crafted lead voice (the bell guitar heard in the last verse before it loops) replaces the austerer one. - PSG has pseudo-delay, which does not violate the SN76489 limitations as none of the notes overlap. - Adjusted detune and LFO settings.
Fun fact #1: Did you know that the Blue Spheres music originated from SegaSonic Bros and was later reused in a prototype of J.League Pro Striker 1? It wasn't until afterwards that it ultimately landed in Sonic 3 & Knuckles.

Expensive experience. I felt deceived by SEGA's quality, lousy music, and prices today. This is how my story started: we are a family of 4, so I decided to try their so-called "Sonic Origins." The promised description was mouth-watering: widescreen remasters, updated Sonic 3 music by Senoue, new characters, modes, bonus music, drop dash, and for 5 dollars more, you could get extra character animations and unlocked mirror mode. At first sight, everything seemed to be a good deal, so I decided to pay the extra five bucks to "upsize" my order. But when I got my actual order (predominantly the music), I could not believe what they had actually served me - the Sonic 3 prototype renditions in Origins had awful instrumentation. I complained to the staff, but no one gave a fig. So PLEASE, don't be a fool like me; there are better places where you can spend 40 dollars on a video game.
In all seriousness, it is due time that I release a follow-up to the 2020 Proto IceCap Act 1 refinement that eventually received a warm reception among many. I have acquired additional insight into music theory and mixing since that act 1 cover, allowing me to further transform the original prototype track. -- Credits Inspired by Tatsuyuki Maeda Composed by Tomonori Sawada Video made with FL Studio ZGameEditor Visualizer plugin

Officially, I have returned from my four-month hiatus caused by the university's last term. Unfortunately, despite enrolling in general education electives, the weekly workload consisted of numerous time-consuming undertakings that hindered any opportunities for uploading.
After hearing the unveiling of Sonic Origins, I immediately knew that it would be appropriate to revisit the Sonic 3 refined prototype series after more than a year of no new entries (excluding the second versions). Therefore, I present the second most popular scrapped S3&K track to my forbearing audience -- Carnival Night Act 1. Of course, those who listened to previous refinements will discern that this upload has minor alterations, but there is justification for this chosen route. For clarification, I recall some of my viewers detesting significant modifications applied to the composition or the instrumentation. Furthermore, I believe that this theme virtually sounded polished in its November 3rd, 1993 state.
The changes this time include: - Tweaked volume balancing towards the YM2612 soundchip's instruments (louder leads, bassline, and slightly quieter hard-panned background melodies). - Louder SN76489 white noise and PSG. - Correcting a looping glitch with the twinkle lead duplicated and in place of the "trumpet." - PSG in areas that lacked it (the middle and ending verses). - Fixed the incorrect positioning of the echo channel. - Switching the panning of the dyads/backing melodies (the lower notes towards the right speaker) to match Senoue and Maeda's 3D Blast style of mixing. - One of the higher-pitched backing melodies in the first verse is mono, considering that it sounded somewhat ear-piercing when the original hard-panned it. - The second verse includes a "tambourine" (in technical terms, white noise with longer decay).
I hope that you enjoy my modifications. Simultaneously, let us all speculate which tracks Sonic Origins' Sonic 3 remake will use for Carnival Night, IceCap, Launch Base, Super Sonic, the competition menu, and the credits, considering SEGA is silent about this aspect.
Fun fact #1: Are you aware that, although the ROM of the November 3rd, 1993 build of Sonic features this theme in E flat major, the SMPS (music) data has the key laid out in C major, like the PC version. However, the tempo in the SMPS data is slower (as heard in this built). Thus, speculation signifies that the PC version got modelled after an existing demo track. In other words, C-major was the premeditated key for prototype Carnival Night Act 1 before the sound team raised it three semitones. Fun fact #2: Originally, I was about to release a refinement for the competition menu theme. It sounded abysmal, so I opted to tackle Carnival Night Act 1 instead. -- Credits Composition: Jun Senoue Art: SEGA Video made with FL Studio ZGameEditor Visualizer plugin
