A group of four Godot devs / YouTube guys challenged each other on a Game Jam over the christmas holidays and I was lucky to be asked to join 😁
The challenge was to make a game in 48 hours (Not in 2 days, we tracked time and stretched it over a longer time span) using only Kenney's 1-Bit Pack (https://www.kenney.nl/assets/bit-pack). Theme and Style was completely free and we were allowed to use music and audio assets from different sources.
I am normally working on Bottomless. I was spending most of my free time on the project and so, a small break was more than welcome.I tried to not let myself force into any specific game category and somehow, looking at the art pack I saw a GTA2 like game.... I also love Mad Max and Post-Apocalypse in general.
And so FRANZ FURY was born. Have fun playing it!
We will cover the whole jam in a video and I will also make a little break down in my channel here 🤘Bottomless - Progress log 4: Not a TrailerPicster2020-12-12 | Hey everyone! As I launched the landing page and newsletter for Bottomless ( be sure to subscribe for the latest news, including potential testing 😉 ) I created a collection of clips from development and made a quick collage.
After finishing the website, I noticed it was much too long and replaced it with a much shorter loop 😁
So I added some music and here we go. THIS IS NOT A TRAILER!
When I will release a real trailer, it will be much more polished, but hey, it's cool music and hopefully a thing or two you didn't see.
