Somehow almost beating my best everNo Cosmic Ocean Score and ended up entering CO with 8,8 million. Many volcanas and near death experiences later I got absolutely robbedof my jetpack in 7-61 - I honestly think if I had shot 1 frame earlier or laterthe magma man wouldn't have had that terrible angle and hit me.However, I somehow managed to skill may way through while actually getting almost all of the money up until 7-79, where I fat fingered asingle shot and ended up dying, which is really unfortunate, as it's onlya 150k or so improvement over the old record, when I was aiming for theultimate 19-20 million run. Unless this run gets contested I don't think I'll be running this in the near future though. Still happy I finally got the recordafter trying to get it for over a year though!

Particularly the endgame could've been a lot better, even though this run also had a neo bab voice echoes, though a very bad one. Also blew up the sun challenge, missingabout 100k, so this score can still easily be improved.
No Cosmic Ocean Score $9,276,100 (WR) - Spelunky 2 Kymiro 2023-10-17 | twitch.tv/kymiro_Absolutely insane, with a 500k improvement over my last run. I'm pretty sure the category will be dead with this and I for one will probably not run it anymore, considering there is barely any point with how lucky you'd have to be to improve this.This run had 2 voice echoes levels, one being in dwelling and the other the fabled 6-1 voice echoes. Otherwise overall really solid levels, especially Sunken City was extremely good too. The only slightly bothering part is the first two Temple levels, but I suppose I can't ask for much more. Including this and with other levels that could've been above average too and also taking into account around 80k or so that I missed picking up unghosted gems I believe a near perfect run would ended up being 9,5 million as an upper limit. Either way, I am more than happy to give it a rest and in case I still find score starts I will end up taking them for Volcana/Tidepool instead.

No Cosmic Ocean Volcana/Tide Pool Score $7,454,175 (Former WR) - Spelunky 2 Kymiro 2023-03-18 | twitch.tv/kymiro_Close to being a very good run! 1-2 PC start, got to clone the 4-2 vault, nice pot strats and overall good levels. Only SC needed to be better - it could've easily been 200-300k more, so the run is still lacking unfortunately. Gonna be tough to improve this though!

Chainlow% All Journal Entries in 4:40:28.767 - Spelunky 2 Kymiro 2021-11-06 | twitch.tv/kymiro_This was kinda convoluted so I came up with rules that could make this as accessible of a category as possible, even though in theory it could be slightly "more" Low%:- Chainlow% rules and All Journal Entries rules apply with following modifications:- All chain items are completely optional; you can pick them up whenever you want, but they can also be skipped entirely. Getting them in order is not required. Using the mattock in the moon challenge and shooting the bow once to get to CO in 7-4 (same rules as Chainlow% CO) is also considered part of the chain.- Equipping items is allowed, however you have to instant restart instantly after. Getting a journal entry after equipping an item invalidates the run.- Backpack items and shields are allowed to be picked up but have to be dropped instantly after. Picking them up after having already gotten their entries before means hitting restart instantly after.- Equipping the alien compass is allowed. Equipping it in a different run after having gotten all mothership entries already means hitting instant restart instantly after. (I would delete this rule but I am not gonna run this category again to validate. Also I didn't even need the compass in the end in this run...)- Picking up cooked turkey, royal jelly, elixir or clover means hitting instant restart instantly after.- Picking up the eggplant jelly means hitting restart instantly after.- Using the clone gun on excalibur once is allowed. Further usage invalides the run.- True crown and Eggplant crown are allowed to be equipped, however getting the 22 bombs from TC or using the whip button to fire eggplants with EC means hitting instant restart instantly after.- Equpping the Kapala is allowed, however getting health with it means hitting restart instantly after.If you read until here, awesome job, buddy.
