This #Sora video was an experiment with director Wayne Price to see what happens when one of the oldest art-forms collaborates with one of the newest.“Sora is most powerful when you finish a project that spans time and space, with elaborate costumes, locations, and characters, in a matter of hours. Simply impossible before now. I was attempting to nail my favorite tone which is hyper reality with a small dose of the fantastical. I wasn’t sure what was possible, and it took many attempts to get the gold. For this specific project, I was using the “archival” preset, which produced a retro documentary feel - grainy, handheld, somewhat washed out colors. I love this and leaned into the “80s nature documentary” feel. The fantastical elements are placed very subtly throughout the piece, with the key moment happening at the end, to coincide with the final line of IN-Q’s brilliant poem."IN-Q is an Emmy nominated poet, multi-platinum songwriter, world renowned speaker and best-selling author. His work explores various themes including mental & emotional health, growth, acceptance, purpose, empowerment and love.Wayne Price is an Emmy winning filmmaker and content creator with a career focus on music and community. Not being on a solo journey has been pretty significant to me.” The experience has catalyzed new creative processes for her. “It feels a bit like magic to me, being able to actually show in video form what, until now, I was only picturing in my imagination. Ever since I was a kid, I kind of had these montages and surreal visuals about certain things I was seeing in reality, and I’d picture them differently. But since I didn’t become a producer or director, they never really came to life until now. So this is a dream come true.”

Learning a new language with ChatGPT Advanced Voice Mode OpenAI 2024-06-26 | With real-time translation and the ability to understand emotion and be interrupted, Advanced Voice Mode can be even more helpful in iteratively learning new languages with a friend. Advanced Voice Mode, which we demoed during our Spring Update event, will begin testing with a small group of ChatGPT Plus users at the end of July to gather feedback. It's our mission to bring these new experiences to you thoughtfully and safely. Exact timelines will depend on meeting our high safety and reliability bar, but we are planning for all Plus users to have access in the fall.
