Non-destructively remove sticker cover from a Toshiba T3200SX plasma bezel molivil 2025-05-14 | This short video describes the best way I have found to remove the sticker from the bezel of a Toshiba T3200SX laptop without bending and damaging the sticker. I was doing this one handed so it slipped and damaged the plastic slightly anyway. 🤦♂️ If you're only removing the cover to gain access to the display panel internals, you don't need to remove the whole sticker. Remove just enough to uncover the screws from both ends.

Listen to Analog magnetic transitions on an MFM hard drive molivil 2021-08-18 | MFM hard drives store information as an analog stream. Digital data is encoded by a hard disk controller, converted to analog and stored on the magnetic medium, just like a compact cassette used on early computers. Beeps you hear in between is the index pulse signifying the start of a new sector. Every 17 pulses the head has travelled that many sectors on the cylinder, and moves on to the next cylinder which you will hear as a long pulse. Radio static you hear in between is data.Recorded using MFM Emulator (www.pdp8online.com/mfm). Analog transition data converted to unsigned 8-bit mono audio at 11khz. Hard drive used is a Seagate ST-251.
