Cambrian Rally 2022 - Alwen 1 (SS5) (Top 20 4WDs before stage stopped) Rallying Sights & Sounds 2022-10-29 | Unfortunately most of the cars didn't make it though Alwen 1 due to the stage being stopped due to an accident in the stage. I also missed filming many of the pre-4WD 2WDs due to arriving late, but I caught every crew on the second run from a different spot, which will be shown in a following video, probably later in the week.
Cambrian Rally 2022 - Oliver Solberg Rallying Sights & Sounds 2022-10-29 | Oliver Solberg was the stand out performer on the Cambrian, taking a clear victory, unfortunately somewhat aided by the absence of the recent top BRC crews. It was great to see world class driving back in the Welsh forests though, thanks for coming Oliver! A couple of clips of him in Alwen, sorry about the mono sound on the first clip.

Rali Ceredigion 2022 - Electric Opel Corsa-e, the future of rallying...? Rallying Sights & Sounds 2022-09-25 | A belated upload, but a bit of history. Tom Cave and Will Atkins became the first crew to take part in a UK multi-venue stage rally in a fully electric car. Not sure what I made of it sound wise. It wasn't offensive, not desperately quiet, but I think there's room for improvement. Let me know in the comments what you made of it.Unfortunately I didn't record the sound from the flat out approach to the chicane seen, because frankly, I didn't readily recognise what it was! But as it approached the pitch slowly rose. It reminded me a bit in hindsight of the 'Jupiter and Beyond the Infinite' bit at the end of Stanley Kubrick's 1968 film, 2001: A Space Odyssey! It's kind of the only way I can describe it! I caught every car at this spot but I wasn't very impressed with this one, I didn't expect the chicane before the corner, which rather ruined it! But if people are interested, I could still upload something. Tarmac rallying requires better prep to get the most out of it...Trackrod videos coming shortly.

I think I caught everyone who made it this far except #82 (who's dust you just see at @07:52, they put on a good show in the RWD Peugeot too, unfortunately), but apologies if I didn't. As usual the opening 2WD group are at the end of the video (12:45), the first half of which are filmed from the other side of the corner, before I realised the dust really wasn't going to work for the video!

Second run @ 05:00 the audio was just too terrible due to the 50mph rain, plus I couldn't get to where I hoped, so I've only included event winner Jason Pritchard and a couple of 'moments' for cars 28 and 32 there. IIRC, every car from the third run is shown, from 6:12 onwards.Conditions were challenging, so far from being my best video!

Plains Rally 2022 - Clocaenog East 1 (SS5)(Pt.2) (Top 2WDs and all 4WDs, after stage stoppage) Rallying Sights & Sounds 2022-05-22 | After the cars shown in the previous video, the stage was stopped. I walked a short distance to discover Car 22 stopped, which I believe was deemed to have stopped in a dangerous position, hence why the stage was stopped? They lost the front left wheel in the compression from which I filmed the rest of the cars, when the stage recommenced. In this video, following the recovery of Car 22, the cars are shown in the order they came through. Apologies to the crew of (IIRC) Car 6, as I missed them.

Malcolm Wilson Rally 2022 - Grizedale North (SS6) (Every Car) Rallying Sights & Sounds 2022-03-13 | Nice entry for the first round of the BTRDA Championship. Features every car that made it this far. Just to explain the order of the clips... The order is as per the starting list, but the opening group of 2wd cars are at the end of the video, shown from the spot where the 0 Car is seen at the beginning of the video. Unusually for me, there are three different corners featured. There was somebody already at the corner I was intending to go to originally with a proper camera, so I didn't think I'd miss anything there or serve any purpose. So, I caught the opening group from a spot instead that I think may be marked over cautiously in the supplied notes, so, I moved along the stage embankment to another corner in the gap before the fasters cars arrived, from where the bulk of the video is taken. There was then a longish delay in the running of the stage (the Spectator Control car came through again), during which time I moved a short distance along the embankment again. So that's that!For anyone of the 600K+ who saw my video of the crash from the Riponian Rally, that car can be seen (a little less) sideways again at 4:32, in the hands of Hugh Hunter this time out, with that followed by Car 36, another Escort being driven by the Driver of that previous car on the Riponian, Meirion Evans. Thank you to him for all the video views from last time!The thumbnail is not long after 8:21, two more quintessential examples of how Escorts can be driven! Riponian Stages Rally 2022 - Wass 2 (SS4) (Every Car) Rallying Sights & Sounds 2022-02-07 | As you can see from the video, the conditions really changed after the 0 Car went through, when a large amount of hail fell, followed by varying amounts of snow. A number of moments to see. At 06:53, the very tail end of a crash ahead of the corner involving Car 82, a heavy impact into the bank on the straight, having seemingly just dipped a wheel off the edge of the track further back and been unable to recover it, such were the slippery conditions. Shots of the car at the end of the video at 25:49 taken after the stage had ended. There was another 'moment' at 09:41. The crash from the previous video uploaded is at 18:37.
