Annual Thanksgiving Travel Cities Forecast 2020 cc17926 2020-11-25 | Carrying on the tradition from 'The Weather Chazz', the forecast for the busy upcoming Thanksgiving Day travel.This is a collaboration project between THEtechknight and myself, as we wanted to bring this back on the real 4000 in memory of Chazz for quite some time.However a number technical challenges, as described by THEtechknight: The TCF Roll on the WS4000 requires an orchestration of 3 different processors. Once the vertical scroll is started, the host CPU (a Raspberry Pi on a custom data board) needs to interact with the product in order to resume the playlist after the scrolling completes. The other two CPUs are 68K (on the CPU and GPU boards, respectively) and are original to the WS4000 machine. The scroll is accomplished in hardware as it was originally all those years ago and requires handing control back and forth between the main CPU, and GPU. Real Weatherstar 4000 - Its back after 5 years! cc17926 2019-12-27 | It's a Christmas Miracle! The Weatherstar 4000 is alive again, running a presentation in 3000 mode! Our enthusiast project, lead by our hardware reverse engineer specialist Techknight, has torn down the hardware back into schematic, analyzed, re-wrote system ROMs, and even designed a data board to interface with this legacy hardware. No TWC or Ready Systems code exists in the redesign. We are all extremely excited to see the 4000 running again, despite the odds that were stacked up against the system from running again. What you are watching is one of the first presentations that was built as a full operating proof of concept with data obtained through the same system as the Weatherstar Jr.

2017 Wanamaker Organ - Christmas in the Grand Tradition Concert - 12/09/2017 cc17926 2017-12-16 | This is the annual 'Friends of the Wanamaker Organ' Christmas in the Grand Tradition concert, performed by Organist Peter Richard Conte, accompanied by Andrew Ennis on the Fleugelhorn and Trumpet. This is the complete show, open to the public. The wide-shot video is with a Hero3, tight-shot video Sony Cam, and the audio with a Zoom H1. The show is complete except for the copyright light show music.This year, I experienced technical difficulties in the audio track until about 15:15 .. But still did not capture the best audio that I would have liked to. Also, the finale to the light show at 55:10 inadvertently played the recorded track instead of the live edition. Despite the technical issues, I hope you enjoyed the concert as much as I did.
