2024 really was something... none of the goals i set for myself were met and family things got in the way. but i had so much more fun this year than i did in the last 5 years - i played lots of good games, travelled to see friends so many times, maybe had one too many drinks with them too.

i was even able to work on this video, a huge passion project of mine that i used countless days on stream and off stream to work on... im so proud of the animation!!

i hope you guys had some really good moments you can look back on and smile this year - or if you don't, just imagine what kinds of fun and amazing moments you'll have in 2025?

i had a lot of fun with this song, considering it's a masterpiece and a really strong showcase of each producer's style ;w; deco's lyrics are always more on the nose whereas pino's is always somewhat more underhanded. also, this was the first project i lead between me and juby, hope you guys like it :3

i know this song came out ages ago, but i really only fell in love with the idea of covering it after listening to chikafuji lisa's english cover (youtube.com/watch?v=VllhNS7t9dc) - that "it's all i need/you'd do it if you loved me" was just so so good, and while my original version had lyrics i wrote myself, i ultimately decided to use her lyrics as a homage in a way ;w; i'm terribly sorry i didn't ask first, please let me know if this is an issue!

uh. well. i sounded so pitchy during recording i sort of sat on it for a while until it was chosen for this month.

it was only because of vesen's masterful mixing and vocal edit work that you can hear it and not get hearing damage. or think less of me just by hearing it... tehepero

also, you may notice i took a few liberties with the lyrics i did write, and that's because i was inspired to do this cover after one of my friends broke up with his girlfriend. it was so messy and i heavily referenced some lines from the break up message in here (with his consent ofc). not too obvious but a fun little project xD

almost a year exactly after the meme upload, i present to you ... dilemma! for real this time.
after all the heartbreak and the everything that happened last year im glad i can finally get it out in lyrics and move on for good. maybe it can be catharsis for you in the same way it was for me. deco*27 and breakups are a good combo that way. maybe i can talk about it and laugh one day, but for now it's time to work on myself while i conquer the new big thing in my life!

hi im back after almost a full year. this song was supposed to be released back in 2021, and i've had the lyrics done as far back as 2019. but as you know, life happens :p

the guide / shinsekai annaisho / new world guidebooth - however you want to call it - this song is almost sort of a vent cover for me. as you know i've been around here for years now, and basically held witness to the evolution of the vocaloid utaite community. but the older i get, the more i feel like i have one hand on my irl life and the other desperately clinging on to whatever is left of my crumbling internet career.

from my days as someone a lot of people looked up to, to now being basically "one of the OG english youtaites who just sort of fell off," i can't help but feel a little resentful at the way things turned out. not at others, but at myself for not being able to get where i wanted to be. it's hard not to think of what could have been had i been a little more smart about how i approached this, or if i could have listened to you all more, or if only my own interests lined up with what everyone loved and wanted from me.

but it's times like this i need to do some introspection - why did i start? what kept me going? what do i hope to get out of all of this?
and i remember the girl who used to sing for fun, who only ever wanted her love of vocaloid to reach those who couldn't understand it and make an impact on their lives, no matter how small.

in the end, if you can find some meaning and comfort out of this in the context of your own life, then.. that's more than enough. thank you for listening.
