Being a Bootleg you wouldn't expect it to be better than the Nintendo version, but I enjoyed this one more. It feels like a Russian or Eastern European cold war clone or something. Playing it now is still a lot of fun but leaves me feeling like I've done something dirty.Amiga Scart to hdmiDaniel Kovacs2017-08-19 | ...Ghost pepperDaniel Kovacs2017-08-16 | Yum!10 PRINT CHR$(205.5+RND(1)):GOTO10Daniel Kovacs2017-04-24 | ...10 PRINT CHR$(205.5+RND(1)):GOTO10Daniel Kovacs2017-04-24 | ...Dog by Pond Software for the Commodore 64Daniel Kovacs2016-11-12 | Your goal - poop as much as you can without getting caught. Lionheart was a platform hack/slash game for the Commodore Amiga - was not released on any other platform and if I remember correctly, was the last game released by Thalion.
I played through this using an infinite lives cheat. The game really isn't that hard, it had just been years since I played it through to completion.

Real gameplay footage captured on an Amiga 1200. The music in the 1st level doesn't play and there is some flickering. This is likely due to this being a PAL game played in NTSC.
This game is HARD. I had to play with infinite lives just to make it anywhere.Shinobi played on the Commodore-AmigaDaniel Kovacs2015-03-25 | Released by Sega of America in 1989, Amiga version developed by Binary Design.

Great platformer, a bit on the difficult side, with touchy controls. I first played this on my Amiga 600 - a one level demo from a cover disk - I think it was on The One magazine, I think. I had to run my Amiga in PAL to get this to run.
I don't think this was ported/released on any other platform.

This is in my opinion one of the best home releases of this game. I am unsure the story behind why the C64 never saw an official nintendo release of this game, but I am sure it had a lot to do with timing, the release of the Famicom/NES, Coleco's mistake showing Donkey Kong off on the Colecovision when they hadn't secured a liscence yet to do so. I could speculate for hours.

Sonic the Hedgehog has been replaced by Amy (Sonic's girlfriend? I don't know the backstory here) in this hack of Sonic 2.
This is not just a game with modified sprites - a bunch of the code for Amy's controls have been rewritten - the spin dash has been replaced by a hammer and there's some new jumping attack.

This was filmed after the event. After Leif tried it I drew a nice christmas scene in GeoPaint. The controller is based on an Arduino and a 9 degrees of freedom motion sensor and some ICs to convert the signals to a format that's compatible with DB9 style controllers. This device could be used to control any system that uses Atari compatible controllers.
My experience with this - once you get used to the directional controls - tilting the glove left, right up and down - it was very easy to use and felt natural. For the fire button, Leif used conductive fabric (measures 0 ohms on a mutimeter) on the thumb and index finger, when you touch the finger and thumb together, it closes the circuit and generates the "fire button" signal. Fine movements though, a little more difficult as the sensor reacts to even small movements. Awesome job, Leif!
