Long time no see! I wanted to work on this forever ago when I first played Pokemon Scarlet because this song's lyrics fit so well... I even drew an art piece with lyrics from this song in the caption last year (etourvol.tumblr.com/post/703316612860788736) just because I didn't think I'd ever get around to actually making this video. But life happens as it does, and here this is. The last 90 minutes of Pokemon Scarlet (and Violet) are absolutely unhinged to the point that this video doesn't make any sense if you haven't gotten there yet. To which I say please stop watching this video until you do.

Case Open, Case Shut! - Part 18 (Ace Attorney)

ETOURVOL 2020-09-09 | part for my own MAP that follows the phoenix wright: ace attorney trilogy, except everyone is a cat because why not. this covers part of the third game and incorporates a flashback from turnabout memories (case 1) and bridge to the turnabout (case 5). the very beginning uses the "guilty" animation from the actual game over screen in the game (thank you Impessa on youtube for the green screen rip!)

i recently switched to using CSP for animation and it's SOOO much nicer than trying to work with my usual art style in flash, so i got a little more ambitious with this part. i'm very happy with how it turned out, and hope you like it too!

Cloudbusting - Fire Emblem: Awakening PMV

ETOURVOL 2019-08-04 | I wanted to make this video 4 years ago when I was more into this series/game, but never got around to it. I recently rediscovered this amazing cover and have been seeing a lot of Fire Emblem around due to the new game, so I impulsively started it one day and worked practically nonstop (schedule-allowing) until I finished this.

This is Lucina-centric, and focuses on her strained relationship with Robin knowing that in her own timeline her father is killed by him. Some of the lyrics may seem like an odd fit, but the original song is about someone watching as their father is taken away by the government, so I took that concept abstractly. Enjoy!

this one isn't this old (it's from this year!) but i dont think i'm going to finish it for various reasons. this cover i used is bomb but please check out the original song too, it's by one of my favorite artists and it's baller. it's about his relation to gender identity (which is one reason- it feels weird using a song about such a personal topic for a dumb cat video lol)

2. Nageki no Mori

the first one is named aza and i think the concept behind her was that she was a wereskunk (skunk who turns into a wolf on a full moon) which... is an interesting spin on how lycanthropy works but Valid. i dont know where the wings come from.

Legend of Ashitaka - Part 5 (LOZ)

ETOURVOL 2017-08-27 | for Shilly! I tried to experiment and go a little outside my comfort zone and animate something more complex in SAI (using my regular painting style) rather than Flash. The goal was for a "living storybook" type feeling, but whatever this is works too I guess :'D

This part is loosely based on the encounter with Levias from the game legend of zelda: skyward sword, mostly because I wanted to draw some loftwings and sky beasts. I was very excited to join this because this is literally one of my favorite orchestral pieces ever, from my favorite movie! The slower tempo of this portion of the song made this more challenging than I anticipated.

I waited like.... years for this game... and it was so worth it. (it was announced when i was a freshman in high school and now i'm a senior?) it inspired me a lot so i wanted to make a short video for it!! now that this is done i can go back and play it more guilt-free *v* would highly recommend
