Maybe because there were scenes from inside 7. Not what I would call interesting or fascinating to watch, but contemplative. Good luck finding it.

The Criterion Blu Ray smokes this, not bad for DVD, but it's like watching the movie for the first time & gets a chance to resolve the Roger Deakins cinematography. The first scene at the methadone clinic & its context kinda went right past me watching it when it came out in 1987 on VHS for rent.It's nutso Courtney Love had a bit part in the movie, but would have been too on the nose if she played Nancy.

Decent production but with a hint of Hallmark movie flair.Scripts, cast & crew get mashed up & recycled in the Hollywood blender all the time. Who knows how the sausage is made.Sloppy mashup of the ending climax with the ending climax of Baby Driver (2017) by Edgar Wright. Continuity out the window, but John Hamm's hammy acting ties it together. Portman got roasted for her Deep South American fried chicken accent, but part of the fun. She actually drops it for her best performance in the movie confronting Hamm. Had to work in some Deus Ex Machina with her being floating in space in order to defeat John Hamm's character who wanted to mow her down. Messed up goofy kooky edit.
