Peter Corke is a distinguished professor of robotic vision at Queensland University of Technology, serving as the Director of both the QUT Centre for Robotics and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Robotic Vision. Prior to joining MathWorks, Remoβs research at the University of Central Florida (UCF) focused on multisensor fusion, state estimation, and environment modeling for autonomous ground vehicles. He was the chief software engineer for UCFβs self-driving car and responsible for vehicle control as well as real-time obstacle detection and tracking.
