A Story of a Dedicated 9/11 First Responder and His Dog Smith & Wesson Inc. 2022-09-09 | Officer Chris Christensen is an active duty police officer from East Carondelet, IL. When news broke about the terrorist attacks on 9/11 he packed up his squad car, his rescue K9, Servus, and traveled to Manhattan. While Officer Christensen and Servus were searching for survivors in the rubble of the south tower, Servus fell through an opening that was 10-15 feet below.
