Ranking Every Horror Book I’ve Read in 2026 (By Horror Subgenre)

Tina Books | TBR, etc. 2026-06-24 | It's time to rank every horror book I've read so far this year!

Instead of throwing all 10 books into one giant list, I'm breaking them down by horror subgenre: creepy houses, social horror, maybe it's cannibals, body horror, and survival horror. In each category, I'll rank the books I've read, share a bonus recommendation for horror fans, and spotlight a book from my TBR that I'm hoping to get to soon.

No matter your taste- haunted houses, unsettling social commentary, grotesque body horror, stories that make you question what's for dinner, or characters fighting to survive impossible situations, there's something for every horror reader!
