A Type-46 ISV
There was no real Halo ambience that I saw on YouTube, it was mainly just map ambience. I combined multiple map ambiences together and got this.

All Flood-themes maps have this same ambience.
There is a single sound within this that I cannot find for the life of me. Throughout the video, you will hear an almost "howling" like sound. I'm nearly 100% certain that the specific sound I'm referring to is a stock sound effect. I've heard this "howling" in a completely unrelated ad years ago, and if you were to watch the video, you would see what I mean.
Anyways, point being, I enjoy that sound and cannot find it anywhere so far but, I do hope you enjoy this video.
If you find yourself to be a bit more attentive to the sounds, you'll notice that most sound effects used were from Halo Infinite.
Cover art used for this video is proudly credited to artist Isaac Hannaford.
Although the map appears to take place in Hamburg, Germany, the opening sequence of that map is followed by V1 rocket bombings.
I gathered this audio over two years ago, but for some reason didn't think to upload it.
This ambience is genuinely more dramatic and tense, especially with the screams echoing across the war torn city the ambience is from.
Really loved the theming of this map. This is for those who had the itch of seeing a glimpse of the Sangheili civil war within Halo Infinite.
This map, Apostay, was made entirely by KinkyKosmonaut and Cream Sock. I simply added the AI on top of the map, recorded, and edited the video.
Both, the Concussion Rifle, and Plasma Caster, share the same manufacturer, the Merchants of Qikost. They also maintain a very similar design overall.

Being uploaded over a decade ago, no soundtrack to the Halo Landfall has never been uploaded. This video won't have the like "generic" suspense sounds from the short, but I tried my best to include everything from any of the Halo tracks.
recreated the Halo 2 mission, Cairo Station
and it's genuinely so beautiful. l'm just gonna
name these Forgers cause they genuinely all
deserve the recognition: Virus11010, Micheal
B 2K8, DOctorsmurf, NINJA MAN2275, Mr
incrediJON, Scrubulba, WookieCookies1, and
HAYON est1999.
l've always envisioned people recreating older
Halo games in newer games, like Kashiiera's
also insane recreation of Halo CE in Halo 3.
And this definitely also hits that super niche
spot so well.
I can honestly say I had a fun time editing this
video though. This is my first official
gameplay video ever, and I think I did pretty
alright I'd say? It was a little tedious adding
the soundtrack in because I had to go back in
fourth between the H2A soundtrack for this
level and trying to find the Infinite equivalent,
but I think it turned out nicely and smooth.
Really enjoyed playing this and I hope more
recreation missions are made, even with the
insane dedication by each of their respective
teams.
I've always been curious of this ambience actually. I've tried searching for it on YouTube, and could not find it anywhere. So for those probably three people who were curious like me, I hope you enjoy 😩.
Objective 1: 00:00
Objective 2: 00:33
Objective 3: 01:05
Objective 4: 01:33
This is actually so nice really, cause previously, I've actually recorded battle sounds from a Multiplayer match with bots to get some distant battle sounds. I mean I never ended up uploading it, but I'm just glad we have actual sounds we can use inside of our Forge maps.
Sections:
00:00 Cooling Manifolds
01:56 Bridge
04:55 Corridor
07:00 Hallways
09:00 Drop Bay
The Bridge alarm is definitely my favorite, I just love the menacing feel it gives off. I have no idea why, but I just really like alarm ambience.
If you turn the music off in the escape section of the mission, the level completely changes in tone from a, "oh yeah I just wrecked this ship, time to go", to, "oh no this whole ship is going to blow I have to get out of here".
If there was to be a Turf or District remake in Halo 2 Anniversary, it would have the same ambience as this, because the original ambience for this mission are shared with Turf and District. This has to be one of my favorite sounding distant battle ambience, because Covenant weaponsfire is heard very commonly alongside all other sounds. It also has to be because this occurs during The Battle of Earth, which was way larger than the games would lead you to believe.
The song itself is very clearly a variation or even an extended version of Halo 4's "Cloud City" track, though it deviates off after the first few seconds, and then comes back around towards the end. This song has percussion from a different Halo 4 track, if I'm not mistaken at least.
00:00 Swamp
04:00 Elevator
08:00 Cathedral
12:06 Fourway
14:02 Laboratory
17:57 Containment
Almost at about halfway, the ambient track used in Swamp cuts off, leaving only the ambience of the swamp itself.
Elevator seems to be Laboratory but without the "roars".
Laboratory shares the same ambience with Hang 'Em High from CE. This ambience is later reused in Halo 3 for the Flood.
Containment is a track from Halo Combat Evolved's soundtrack, coming from the Library Suite.

There's a lot of people who don't notice the Sentinel Factory get shot out of the sky, and there's even fewer who realize that you battle through it's debris and structure in Quarantine Zone.
I haven't seen anyone upload the anniversary version of it's decent, and the only classic footage is from a decade ago, so here ya go.
The quality of the models, and the overall ambient battle itself seems to be a huge step up from Halo Reach's background dogfights. With more sound, including actual firing sounds, which was previously absent from all other distant sky battles. Along with the actual flying sounds.
Alright so, some of these lock on sounds are reused on each other, which would be expected. For example, the victim of a Missile Pod lock will hear the same lock-on sound as a Hornet would who's targeting someone would hear. That sounds extremely confusing, and I doubt that made sense, but yes, that's basically it.
Side note, I really wish we had more Covenant alarms. From what I can tell, we've only had three/four: this alarm and the alarm that begins when you destroy the reactors of High Charity in the mission Cortana. The other other one/two, are the Scarab and Halo Reach AA cannon overload alarm, which are technically the same alarm. We've had plenty human alarms, hoping we get to see more Covenant alarms in the future.
I don't know, I just randomly had the idea to do this. Thanks to Captain Keyes for the Phantom and CCS-class battlecruiser sounds.
