This patch is for .z64 ROMs, however if your ROM is .n64, here is what you can do to convert it: - Download Tool64 from here: zophar.net/download_file/2854 - Open it up, and go to File then Open, and choose the folder that your ROM is in. - Then right click your ROM file and click "Big Endian". - Now you should have a ROM ending in .z64 that you can patch.

Coming soon...Zelda 64 - 20 Beta Enemies, NPCs, and Models Restored!zel.2020-09-06 | So lately I have seen a lot of attempts to restore all of the models and assets found within the gigaleak, but a lot of these attempts add in custom things, like changing how the Iron Knuckle model looks. Other attempts might have issues like textures not existing, etc. So I decided to create a model viewer that natively runs inside Ocarina of Time to restore all of these awesome models and assets with 100% accuracy! Everything you see in this video is exactly as it was within the leaks, no changes have been made at all. So thus some of these have issues, such as the Iron Knuckle having a second shield in its right hand rather than the sword seen in beta screenshots, however that sword is missing, and is instead just another shield in the model included in the leaks, so it stays that way here for accuracy. Others like dk_floater though are just broken.

This trailer was created and edited by CDi-FailsZelda 64 Beta Restoration - Proof of Conceptzel.2020-08-05 | A few days ago I began working on this custom map select thing for a beta restoration with the new leaked maps that I have been showcasing. However because other people have already released patches of these maps, I do not plan on continuing to work on this as there is not much point in overlapping.Majoras Mask Beta North Clock Town Fully Restored!zel.2020-07-29 | I saw a few people posting untextured screenshots of this map, and I knew that wasn't enough, so here it is fully working! Like with all the previous maps, no edits by me have been made here. This is exactly as the map was intended to work. A few interesting things to note. First of all there is a big fence where the slide normally was in the final game. I believe this is actually intentional, because someone mentioned to me that often times in early oot screenshots areas were fenced off that weren't finished yet, so this likely just means that they didn't model the slide yet. Another thing to note is that the entrance to the fairies fountain is different here, which can be seen in some beta screenshots; its my symmetrical. Also the old lady who owns the Bomb Shop and Sakon don't work properly in this old version for some reason. Anyway that's about it I guess, enjoy. Also the video is way too quiet, whoops.Early Ikana Bottom of the Well Intended for OoT DD Restored!zel.2020-07-29 | Alright so earlier I restored the early MM Swamp Spiderhouse included in OoT's files with DD in its name, and theorized that it might have been some sort of replacement for the Deku Tree for a few reasons. First of all, it has the Deku Tree's music. Second, if you try to leave the map, you exit from the Deku Tree, and if you go to the very end, you end up in the Gohma boss room. Also, the name "ydan" is included in its files, which is the internal name of the Deku Tree. While at first I thought this might be a coincidence, I'm now fully convinced with this map. The map leads out of Jabu Jabu, exits to the Barinade battle, has the Jabu music, and has "bdan" in its files, which is the name of Jabu Jabu. Unfortunately only these two areas remain, so I presume after these maps were made they began working on MM instead or something. Also sadly some textures are corrupted in this one, but they are like that in the files. Also it doesn't have any lighting like MM in this early version so it looks all bright. I presume this is because OoT doesn't support real light sources on maps, while MM does, so the torches lighting up the area wouldn't work, making the map look super plain and weird. Anyway, patch coming once I get these all finished I guess.Early Swamp Spiderhouse Intended for OoT DD Expansion Restored!zel.2020-07-29 | A few days ago I saw people mention that there was an early version of the Swamp Spiderhouse included in OoT's files with DD in the name, meaning that this area was originally intended for Ura Zelda/whatever it would have been called presumably! Nobody has actually got the map working yet though, so this is where this comes in. :V Anyway some people may also be confused, because its well known that "Ura" was likely Master Quest, however with new insight from these leaks, it turns out that Ura would have actually been a little bit more than Master Quest originally. Another strange thing is that at the end of the map the game tries to warp Link to the Deku Tree boss. Could this have been an expansion of the Deku Tree, or a new area in the Lost Woods? Who knows!Ocarina of Time Beta Dungeon (fst_dan) Fully Restored!zel.2020-07-29 | Earlier today I saw a restoration of this map by z64.me, however I noticed that his attempt did not have any actor placements. After doing some research I discovered that the actor/object lists actually did exist in this map. Sadly its just a few Stalfos and some treasure chests, but it is really cool that I was able to get this map completely working as it was intended. Another thing is that z64.me's version did not have a sky, however it turns out that the sky was intended to be loaded as well. Download coming once I restore some other beta stuff I guess?Majoras Mask Beta Great Bay Coast Archery Mini-game Restored!zel.2020-07-28 | Last night I found this super cool unused archery mini-game that would have been part of Great Bay early in its development. Once I restore the rest of the beta content I found I will be releasing this as a patch by the way. Anyway the name of this map is Z2_32kamejimamae. Interestingly, Zora Cape's internal name is Z2_31misaki, Great Bay's is Z2_30gyoson, and Z2_35taki. If these numbers are to be trusted, it seems as though this area may have been the original idea for Waterfall Rapids, as it was theoretically conceptualized after both Great Bay Coast and Zora Cape. This is just a theory though. I've also been told that it translates to roughly "in front of/before [the] turtle island," so perhaps it had something to do with the turtle that takes you to Great Bay Temple? Strangely Great Bay Temple isn't in the distance either, so this was likely a very early draft of the Great Bay region, and was cut somewhat early on in development of Great Bay. ANYWAY hopefully you guys enjoy, was really fun figuring out how to get this working, and soon I will be restoring the beta version of the Snowhead region.
